To gain high level of performance in distributed object oriented computing, a required level of reliability in objects has to be maintained. This brings in a set of complex requirements into consideration. Furthermore depending on the unpredictability of the underlying environment, the replication should have architecture for the adaptable fault tolerance so that it can handle different situations of the underlying system before the system fails. We propose a mechanism for analyzing the complexity of this underlying environments and designing a dynamically reconfigurable architecture. The architecture provides the user required reliability by analyzing the performance and the reliability of the underlying environment and then either adjusting the replication degree or adaptively shifting to a suitable replication protocol. This architecture is a part of the Juice system which supports adaptation properties for a distributed environment.

In the field of bioinformatics, biochemical networks have been reconstructed in computer to understand their dynamic features. A problem is how to estimate the values of many kinetic parameters that are hard to measure experimentally. In this study, we have proposed a novel parameter estimation method based on genetic algorithms (GAs) and applied it to the Drosophila circadian oscillator. We defined two evaluation functions that represent two features of the dynamic model. To optimize the two functions simultaneously, we proposed the survival ratio GA, which has a gene's lifetime as a new concept, that is, the population holds previous search histories. By alternating between two evaluation functions every generation, the population holds both previously evaluated genes and children inherit both properties. In the two-evaluation problem of the Drosophila circadian oscillation system, the survival ratio GA exhibited a considerably better optimizing performance. than traditional GA methods.

Distributed systems are some of the most successful structures ever designed for computer users with their undisputed benefits. However, this structure has also introduced several side-effects, most notably unanticipated runtime events and reconfiguration burdens imposed by environmental changes. In this paper, we discuss a model that enables an object to adapt itself in order to provide the required service by adaptively shifting into the optimal replication strategy. The strategy selection can be done according to environmental conditions in order to address unanticipated events and unpredictable hazards in distributed systems. Dynamic changes in open distributed environments damage the continuous execution of distributed objects. A distributed environment consisting of reconfigurable distributed objects would have higher reliability and availability, and a greater resilience to unexpected requirement changes. In this paper, we propose a reconfigurable, object model that dynamically changes the object's behavior to fit the current environment by modifying its internal structure. The proposed object consists of communicating concurrent meta-objects. Each meta-object contains functions for adaptation, remote communication, and administration. Therefore, this model provides the required separation of concerns (SoC). Generative communication, which allows meta-object communication, gives the proposed reconfigurable objects the following characteristics: flexibility; ability of allowing a variety of configurations; safety that ensures consistency; and a unification of state preservation and communication. The proposed object model was successfully implemented in a middleware framework called Juice 2.

Artificial Intelligence Research in Agriculture has grown so common, and the potential they provide is so revolutionary that it is considered essential for competitive growth. Until we conducted this research, only 1064 academic documents on Trends of Artificial Intelligence Research in Agriculture that we found from 2012 to 2021 were obtained by searching the Scopus database. This study uses bibliometric analysis methods to map scientific publications worldwide. We use an article selection process, the year limitation, then the database is exported to RIS and CSV format files. Researchers in the United States had the most published articles and were indexed by Scopus among the most prolific authors ( $\mathrm{N}=287$ ), followed by the United Kingdom at second ( $\mathrm{N}=139$ ) and Italy with 66 academic publications. Data analysis reveals an increasing trend in the number of Trends of Artificial Intelligence Research in Agriculture publications worldwide, as measured by the Scopus index.
