This study focuses on network security for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which are particularly vulnerable to attack due to limited security measures. To protect IoT networks from attackers, the research implemented intrusion detection on the networks. The study compared several Deep Learning algorithms, including DNN, CNN, LSTM, and AE, to identify the most effective algorithm for solving network security problems using intrusion detection. The research used the UNSW-NB15 dataset for testing and employed binary classification for evaluation. The results showed that the DNN algorithm achieved an accuracy value of 99.76% and a loss value of 0.006%, outperforming the other algorithms. This study highlights the importance of implementing intrusion detection in protecting IoT devices and networks and demonstrates the efficacy of the DNN algorithm in detecting and preventing network security breaches.

The energy control of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) often leads to an unbalanced state between the battery storage system, energy extraction through photovoltaic systems energy, and energy utilization in the WSN. These disparities result in suboptimal wireless sensor network performance. The reliance on batteries is a major factor contributing to this problem. The Q-Learning Energy Management System (Q-EMS) is designed to address these challenges and improve energy management strategies. The Q-EMS algorithm used a learning process resulting in optimal actions for sensor nodes in different situations. The rewards or punishments nodes receive determine their decisions, which are determined by the Q-EMS algorithm. The Q-learning model approach is aimed at reducing energy consumption and supply in WSNs. Energy supply is categorized into battery-based, transfer-based, and harvesting, while energy consumption can be classified into task-cycle, mobility-based, and data-driven. The development of the Q Learning algorithm model has three scenarios: determining energy needs for WSN, effective energy harvesting strategy, and effective energy transfer. As a result, effective energy demand, harvesting and transfer using the Q-learning algorithm are balanced. However, it needs to be studied in more depth using real data in the field. In future research, I will use real data and optimize the use of the Q-Learning algorithm.

Information is instrumental in our understanding of thermodynamics. Their interplay has been studied through completely degenerate Hamiltonians whereby the informational contributions to thermodynamic transformations can be isolated. In this setting, all states other than the maximally mixed state are considered to be in informational nonequilibrium. An important yet still open question is how to characterize the ability of quantum dynamics to preserve informational nonequilibrium. Here, the dynamical resource theory of informational nonequilibrium preservability is introduced to begin providing an answer to this question. A characterization of the allowed operations is given for qubit channels and the n-dimensional Weyl-covariant channels—a physically relevant subset of the general channels. An operational interpretation of a state discrimination game with Bell state measurements is given. Finally, an explicit link between a channel’s classical capacity and its ability to preserve informational nonequilibrium is made.

Solar energy is environmentally friendly energy and is available in large quantities. The energy produced is commonly converted into electricity by using solar panel (PV) systems for utilization. PV systems are generally located in open areas such as hillsides, deserts, and water surfaces, so they become more sensitive against lightning strikes. Commonly, the PV is equipped with a lightning protection system (LPS). This paper discusses the grounding system at the solar power center (PLTS) Weh Island, Sabang City. Evaluation and comparison under certain conditions are carried out through measurements, calculations, and simulations. The grounding system is modeled for one rod, four rods in parallel, and plate rod. The measurement process during field observations and the induce voltage simulation are carried out to get the results of the analysis calculations. The result obtained shows that the grounding system fulfills the PUIL standard, namely being smaller than $5 \Omega$. When using plate electrodes, the resistance value is greater than that of rod electrodes. So that the lower conductor can be more resistant and easier to maintain. Improving the quality of the protection system, this research is used as a reference to evaluate LPS conditions in PV fields.

This study combines AI voice synthesis with IoT to create a real-time multilingual translation system. Front-end devices capture the speaker's voice, which is then played back in both original and translated forms, enabling consecutive interpreting. This system is ideal for multilingual scenarios. After digitization, audio signals undergo speech-to-text conversion, multilingual translation, and text-to-speech processing. Speech synthesis matches the speaker's voice characteristics, allowing listeners to hear the translation in the speaker's voice. Both voice-to-text conversion and translated audio playback use Wi-Fi for data transmission, facilitating future applications. In validation, the average translation and transmission time for each speech segment were 410 ms and 3.38 s, respectively. The synthesized voice similarity analysis achieved an accuracy of 88%, showcasing the method's potential for system integration and development.
