With the gradual diversification of modern application scenes,the demand for UAV path planning is becoming more and more *** paper first introduces a possible battle scenario,and the problems that must be considered in path planning in this scene are analyzed:the maximum rotation angle constraint and the demand that the UAV can cross the threat zone *** rotation angle and Adaptive crossing threat zone RRT*(MA-RRT*) algorithm is proposed to solve the above *** algorithm improves the reconnection process of neighbor set in RRT*,and adds the maximum rotation angle constraint to the RRT* framework,so that the generated path strictly meets this *** addition,the above process also reduces the time consumption of RRT*,and the speed advantage of MA-RRT*becomes more and more obvious with the increase of iteration ***,the obstacle information is regarded as one of the components of the node cost of the path,and the original obstacle is regarded as a soft *** enables the path to adaptively cross the threat zone,which is more in line with the actual *** compare our algorithm with RRT* in numerical simulation,which verifies the effectiveness and time consumption advantages of the algorithm.

The six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) trajectory planning of quadrotors with attitude constraints is studied. Based on active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) technology, a controller for quadrotors that can track both position and attitude is designed. Firstly, the nonlinear dynamic model of quadrotors is established. Next, the optimal trajectory with attitude constraints is solved under different performance indexes. Finally, based on ADRC method, a 6-DOF tracking control algorithm for quadrotors is designed. The control effect is simulated and compared with the traditional linear control method. The results indicate that ADRC method has superior control accuracy and stability for quadrotors with large attitude maneuvers. © 2022, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

On the Equilibrium of a Class of Leader-Follower Games with Decision-Dependent Chance Constraints

In this paper, we study the existence of equilibrium in a single-leader-multiple-follower game with decision-dependent chance constraints (DDCCs), where decision-dependent uncertainties (DDUs) exist in the constraints of followers. DDUs refer to the uncertainties impacted by the leader’s strategy, while the leader cannot capture their exact probability distributions. To address such problems, we first use decision-dependent ambiguity sets under moment information and Cantelli’s inequality to transform DDCCs into second-order cone constraints. This simplifies the game model by eliminating the probability distributions. We further prove that there exists at least one equilibrium point for this game by applying Kakutani’s fixed-point theorem. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the impact of DDUs on the equilibrium of such game models. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A Study on Citation Impact with Age Diversity between Disciplines

With the ongoing evolution of scientific research collaboration in depth and breadth, the age distribution among paper collaborators is becoming increasingly varied. Consequently, the question of whether this age distribution affects the quality of collaborative papers has emerged as a significant topic in recent research. In this study, we have compiled and established a comprehensive scientific database, comprising more than 3.5 million papers. These papers, featuring multiple attribute information, originate from over 180 countries. We define the age diversity of a paper based on the academic ages of its co-authors and examine the relationship between age diversity and citation impact using regression analyses. Our findings reveal a clear upward trend in the age diversity of authors over time. The results indicate that the average age diversity of highly cited papers is consistently higher than that of general papers across the entire timeline, spanning four disciplines: economics, engineering, computer science, and physics. Moreover, we demonstrate a significantly positive correlation between age diversity and citation impact. In the aforementioned four disciplines, an increase in the collaborators’ age diversity is associated with a corresponding rise in the paper’s citation impact. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of age-related dynamics in scientific collaboration. It also offers insights into the age distribution of teams, providing practical suggestions for researchers engaged in collaborative endeavors. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, a fault-tolerant control scheme based on prescribed performance control is proposed to solve the pitch angle attitude control problem of large civil aircraft when actuator faults and external disturbances exist simultaneously. Firstly, the longitudinal motion model of civil aircraft with actuator fault is established. Among them, actuator faults and external disturbances are regarded as lumped disturbances. Then, a performance envelope is constructed based on the hyperbolic cosecant function which can adjust the transient convergence rate and the steady convergence rate respectively. In order to achieve fast online estimation of lumped disturbances, an RBF neural network observer is constructed. The introduction of tracking differentiator solves the problems of initial state constraint of prescribed performance control and "differential-explosion" in back-stepping control. After proving the stability of the system from the perspective of theoretical analysis, the simulation of pitch angle control under the condition of abrupt actuator faults and external disturbance is completed based on Boeing 747 longitudinal motion model. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper illustrates the application of an autonomous decentralized system introducing edge nodes in a smart factory. The nodes include atomic nodes, the most fundamental autonomic units constituting an autonomous decentralized system that are capable of independently extracting information from the data field and processing that information internally and simultaneously transmitting the processing results and other internal information to the data field proactively in a broadcast mode, where the transmitted information circulates in the data field. The group-based data field enables the sharing of information by atomic nodes. Grouped management nodes are the managers of the whole group, and edge nodes are the terminal intelligent control units of an intelligent autonomous decentralized system. Improvements in system decentralization, fault tolerance characteristics and flexibility of the system can lead to homogenization, autonomous control and autonomous coordination in complex manufacturing environments, as well as excellent online fault tolerance, online expansion and online maintenance of the system. In addition, it enhances the ever-changing and evolving control requirements by deconstructing the complexity in the system. © 2022 IEEE.

A joint longitudinal and lateral guidance law design scheme is proposed for the reference trajectory tracking problem of the reentry gliding phase of hypersonic vehicles. With respect to the longitudinal and lateral motion model of the hypersonic vehicle, a longitudinal guidance law based on the Global Fast Terminal Sliding Mode (GFTSM) algorithm and a lateral guidance law based on the Extended State Observer (ESO) is designed respectively, which are combined to get the bank angle for the hypersonic vehicle and obtain the final guidance scheme. From theoretical analysis, it shows that the guidance scheme has the characteristics of global rapidity and finite-time convergence, and both longitudinal and lateral guidance law are robust to system uncertainties which are caused by certain parameter perturbation and external interference. The effectiveness and superiority of this joint guidance scheme compared to traditional guidance method are verified by simulation experiments using the specific gliding reentry model and reference trajectory of a hypersonic vehicle. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper presents investigations of a transformerless half bridge sub-module (HBSM) modular multilevel converter based distribution static synchronous compensator (MMC D-STATCOM) performance in reactive power compensation considering the application of the modified ADRC controllers in the inner current loop and in the outer DC voltage loop using Synchronous Reference Frame control. Simulation results with the imposition of severe variations in reactive loads were obtained on a 5 km medium voltage feeder and will demonstrate that the modified ADRC controller enables superior performance for flexible operation with fast and efficient response of the MMC D-STATCOM in reactive power compensation.

In response to the problem that ash deposition in boilers has a great impact on production efficiency as well as production safety, a grey level theory prediction model based on time convolution networks (GM-TCN) is proposed to predict the degree of ash in boiler heated areas by using a cleaning factor to assess the ash deposition condition on the heated surfaces. The accuracy of the prediction model is improved by utilizing the features of grey level theory that can predict the developmental changes in system behavior, combined with the high-precision approximation capability of the time-convolutional network. The modelling prediction of the ash level in the heated area of boilers during the production of coal-fired power stations is investigated. Experiments demonstrate that the model can predict the cleanliness factor with high accuracy, and the predicted values are closest to the true values compared to the other two models, verifying the accuracy and reliability of the model. © 2022 IEEE.

The emerging virtual coupling technology aims to operate multiple train units in a Virtually Coupled Train Set(VCTS)at a minimal but safe *** guarantee collision avoidance,the safety distance should be calculated using the state-of-the-art space-time separation principle that separates the Emergency Braking(EB)trajectories of two successive units during the whole EB *** this case,the minimal safety distance is usually numerically calculated without an analytic ***,the constrained VCTS control problem is hard to address with space-time separation,which is still a gap in the existing *** solve this problem,we propose a Distributed Economic Model Predictive control(DEMPC)approach with computation efficiency and theoretical ***,to alleviate the computation burden,we transform implicit safety constraints into explicitly linear ones,such that the optimal control problem in DEMPC is a quadratic programming problem that can be solved *** theoretical analysis,sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the recursive feasibility and stability of DEMPC,employing compatibility constraints,tube techniques and terminal ingredient ***,we extend our approach with globally optimal and distributed online EB configuration methods to shorten the minimal distance among ***,experimental results demonstrate the performance and advantages of the proposed approaches.
