A structural diagram of the system of technical diagnostics of overhead lines based on UAVs was developed, for which the necessary diagnostic parameters were selected according to informative criteria. In the industrial internet of things (IIoT), single twisted pair Ethernet becomes popular since it can reuse single twisted pair cables in the field bus to connect field devices to the IIoT. However, in the single twisted pair Ethernet, the delay jitter greatly impacts the performance of time synchronization that can not satisfy the requirements of time-sensitive and high speed tasks in the industrial field. To solve this problem, in this paper, an improved time synchronization algorithm is proposed based on precision time protocol (PTP). By detecting the delay jitter, this algorithm could adaptively adjust the synchronization period, and thus reduce the time offset. The algorithm is deployed in the testbed to study its performance by comparing with original PTP. Experimental results prove that the proposed algorithm can increase the accuracy of the time synchronization in the single twisted pair Ethernet.

This paper considers the problem of globally stabilizing a chain of integrators with actuator saturation in finite time. The proposed method is adapted from an existing scheduled low gain approach by relaxing the range of the value of the low gain parameter. Due to the special structure of the considered system, the proposed feedback law not only results in finite-time stability but also is homogeneous in the whole state space. The homogeneity of the proposed feedback law allows its implementation through the discretization of a compact set of the state space and thus obviation from numerical difficulties in the existing scheduled low gain design. A numerical example is presented to validate our theoretical results and demonstrate that our approach achieves faster convergence than the existing methods.
