This paper highlights the crucial role of Indonesia’s GNSS receiver network in advancing Equatorial Plasma Bubble(EPB)studies in Southeast and East Asia,as ionospheric irregularities within EPB can disrupt GNSS signals and degrade positioning *** by the Indonesian Geospatial Information Agency(BIG),the Indonesia Continuously Operating Reference Station(Ina-CORS)network comprises over 300 GNSS receivers spanning equatorial to southern low-latitude ***-CORS is uniquely situated to monitor EPB generation,zonal drift,and dissipation across Southeast *** provide a practical tool for EPB research,by sharing two-dimensional rate of Total Electron Content(TEC)change index(ROTI)derived from this *** generate ROTI maps with a 10-minute resolution,and samples from May 2024 are publicly available for further scientific *** preliminary findings from the ROTI maps of Ina-CORS are ***,the Ina-CORS ROTI maps reveal that the irregularities within a broader EPB structure persist longer,increasing the potential for these irregularities to migrate farther ***,we demonstrate that combined ROTI maps from Ina-CORS and GNSS receivers in East Asia and Australia can be used to monitor the development of ionospheric irregularities in Southeast and East *** have demonstrated the combined ROTI maps to capture the development of ionospheric irregularities in the Southeast/East Asian sector during the G5 Geomagnetic Storm on May 11,*** observed simultaneous ionospheric irregularities in Japan and Australia,respectively propagating northwestward and southwestward,before midnight,whereas Southeast Asia’s equatorial and low-latitude regions exhibited irregularities *** sharing ROTI maps from Indonesia and integrating them with regional GNSS networks,researchers can conduct comprehensive EPB studies,enhancing the understanding of EPB behavior across Southeast and East Asia and contributing significantly to ionosphe

The gaming industry has changed since advanced technologies and hardware specifications were able to create the possibility of gaming with connective network or known as online gaming. Some communities are accepting positively, and others are contradicted. Thus, there is an urgency to know the insight from their sentiment. The present research extracts 10 thousand sentiments at social media with sentiment text analysis. The text is interpreted into six based emotions namely anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise. The mining analysis by lexicon valance aware dictionary and sentiment reasoner (VADER) projects the Joy emotions as the domination result with 94.74%. Positive joy expression on online gaming is revealed by extracting the sentiment analysis. In total, ten thousand data were collected from the corpus, which resulted in the happy sentiments that were experienced.

Detecting anomalies in multivariate time-series data is an important task in various real-world industries, but doing so is non-trivial because both the temporal dependency within the time series and correlations between multiple time series must be considered. Previous studies have only addressed one issue, resulting in limited performance. To address this, we propose a graph convolution-based recurrent encoder-decoder, called GC-RED. The model incorporates intra-dependencies and inter-correlations using a graph-construction process and an encoding-decoding process that encodes the graph with an attention-enhanced graph convolutional LSTM and then restores it. Anomaly detection and root cause identification are performed based on the reconstruction error. Considering that anomalies with various durations can occur in actual situations, the model includes a vanilla model reflecting single scales and a model reflecting multiple scales. The feasibility and usefulness of GC-RED are demonstrated by intensive experiments on several benchmark and real-world datasets with comparisons to other competitive methods. © 2023, The Authors. Electrospun biodegradable fibers have been attracting significant attention in various applications. Introducing a porous structure into these fibers enhances their surface area and thus extends their applications. Here, we report a facile route to produce a highly hierarchical porous fiber structure from biodegradable electrospun solid poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) fibers by acetone-induced swelling-crystallization. By controlling the concentration of acetone solution and immersion time, the highly hierarchical porous PLLA fiber membrane with a very large surface area of 138.06 m2 g−1 and a high pore volume of 0.593 cm3 g−1 was fabricated. Furthermore, we demonstrated that the porous PLLA fiber membrane presented a high oil adsorption capacity of up to 27.0 g g−1, surpassing the performance of solid electrospun PLLA fiber membranes by approximately 34 %. The highly oil-adsorptive porous PLLA fiber membrane outperformed many conventional porous materials. Therefore, the hierarchical porous PLLA fiber membrane has high potential as an eco-friendly material for high-oil adsorption applications. © 2025 The Korean Society of Industrial and engineering Chemistry

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to create an air movement operations planning model to rapidly generate air mission request (AMR) assignment and routing courses of action (COA) in order to minimize unsupported AMRs, aircraft utilization and routing cost. Design/methodology/approach: In this paper, the US Army Aviation air movement operations planning problem is modeled as a mixed integer linear program (MILP) as an extension of the dial-a-ride problem (DARP). The paper also introduces a heuristic as an extension of a single-vehicle DARP demand insertion algorithm to generate feasible solutions in a tactically useful time period. Findings: The MILP model generates optimal solutions for small problems (low numbers of AMRs and small helicopter fleets). The heuristic generates near-optimal feasible solutions for problems of various sizes (up to 100 AMRs and 10 helicopter team fleet size) in near real time. Research limitations/implications: Due to the inability of the MILP to produce optimal solutions for mid- and large-sized problems, this research is limited in commenting on the heuristic solution quality beyond the numerical experimentation. Additionally, the authors make several simplifying assumptions to generalize the average performance and capabilities of aircraft throughout a flight. Originality/value: This research is the first to solve the US Army Aviation air movement operations planning problem via a single formulation that incorporates multiple refuel nodes, minimization of unsupported demand by priority level, demand time windows, aircraft team utilization penalties, aircraft team time windows and maximum duration and passenger ride time limits. © 2022, In accordance with section 105 of the US Copyright Act, this work has been produced by a US government employee and shall be considered a public domain work, as copyright protection is not available.

Optimal deployment of private 5G multi-access edge computing systems at smart factories: Using hybrid crow search algorithm

In smart factories, an increasing number of mobile intelligent devices are deployed to meet the growing demands for flexible manufacturing. These devices, equipped with various sensors, synchronize a substantial amount of data with cloud servers for real-time monitoring and control. Fifth generation mobile networks (5G) combined with multi-access edge computing (MEC) provide the capabilities for multiple connections, large-scale data transmission, and efficient response times, becoming the mainstream network architectures for the needs. Additionally, with the emerging trend of energy-saving, recent works have addressed energy consumption as a significant cost factor. However, most previous studies tended to focus solely on cloud servers, neglecting energy consumption at edge computing and underestimating the impact of heterogeneous mobile device. As the scope of smart factory networks continues to expand, the challenges become increasingly critical. This study presents a private 5G MEC system architecture tailored for smart panel factories. The concerned problem is formulated as an integer programming model, which determines deployment locations and quantities for MEC servers and 5G small cells, including picocells and femtocells, so as to minimize the overall deployment costs while meeting the constraints of connectivity, capacity, latency, coverage, serviceability, and energy consumption. Since the edge server deployment problem is NP-hard, this study further proposes a hybrid metaheuristic algorithm, CSAVNS, which combines the strengths of crow search algorithm (CSA) and variable neighborhood search (VNS). In the global search phase of CSA, the VNS local search is introduced to enhance the algorithm's capabilities. Experimental analysis demonstrates that the proposed CSAVNS outperforms other algorithms in terms of solution solving capabilities. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

The noisy and high-dimensional nature of biological data has spawned advanced clustering algorithms that are tailored for specific biological datatypes. However, the performance of such methods varies greatly between datasets and they require post hoc tuning of cryptic hyperparameters. We present k minimal distance (KMD) clustering, a general-purpose method based on a generalization of single and average linkage hierarchical clustering. We introduce a generalized silhouette-like function to eliminate the cryptic hyperparameter k, and use sampling to enable application to million-object datasets. Rigorous comparisons to general and specialized clustering methods on simulated, mass cytometry and scRNA-seq datasets show consistent high performance of KMD clustering across all datasets. © 2023, The Author(s).

The aim of this paper is to compare the ability of two numerical models to simulate two-dimensional dam-break flows. Dam-break modelling is important in reducing the high-risk of dam failure by determining the water flow movement and its effect on buildings downstream. In this study, the Taylor Galerkin and Forward Time Central Space method is presented to simulate 2-D dam-break flow. The Hansen filter is applied to both methods to reduce numerical instability oscillations in the model. The filters were used for each time step at each computing point. The model is verified by comparing the result simulation with numerical results from previous studies. The result show that Taylor Galerkin numerical scheme with Hansen filter is successful to simulate the problem of 2-D dam-break. Also, the Taylor Galerkin model has better results than the FTCS model. Studies like this are needed for mitigation efforts in the event of dam failure. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper examines the reproducibility of massive information analytics under particular factors. The paper proposes the “performing Scalable Inference” technique to cope with scalability troubles and to exploit current big statistics platforms for efficient computing and statistics garage of the statistics. In particular, the paper describes how to perform leak-free, parallelizable visible analytics over massive datasets using present extensive records analytics frameworks such as Apache Flink. This method presents an automated manner to execute analytics that preserves reproducibility and the ability to make adjustments without re-running the entire technique. The paper also demonstrates how these analytics may help several real-world use instances, explore affected person cohorts for studies, and develop stratified patient cohorts for hospital therapy. In the end, the paper observes how the proposed method may be exercised within the real world. Actively scalable inference for massive information analytics is pivotal in optimizing decision-making and allocation of assets. Typically, such inferences are made based on information accumulated from numerous sources, databases, unstructured data, and different digital sources. So one can ensure scalability, a complete cloud-primarily based platform has to be hired. This solution will permit the ***, deploying the essential records series and evaluation algorithms are prime here. It could permit the platform to recognize the styles inside the statistics and discover any ability correlations or traits. Additionally, predictive analytics and system mastering strategies may be incorporated to provide insights into the results of the information. In the long run, by leveraging those techniques, the platform can draw efficient inferences and appropriately compare situations in an agile and green way..

A collaborative course called Global Awareness for technology Implementation was conducted by the Faculty of engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and the Tokyo Institute of technology, Japan. The objective of this course was to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, perspectives, and experiences between Thai and Japanese students through project work, using an engineering design approach and the design thinking process to create innovation relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During the class, experts shared their knowledge and experiences with the students. The students then worked on their respective projects to develop solution concepts using the design thinking process. The proposed ideas include the application for English class, smart water quality checker, hydrogen-based energy system for rural area, reduced wasted fashion solution, and auto waste sorting machine. Finally, this study concluded with a summary of the results and findings on the empathy process in the chosen SDGs, and of the commonalities and differences between Thailand and Japan in terms of ideation.
