This work presents a study of the CMOS based R-2R ladder network (also called M-2M) Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) as a potential candidate for ultra-low voltage (ULV) applications, i.e. supply voltages VDD lower than 200mV. MOS transistors operate in subthreshold under such very low VDD, and the circuit analysis must be done using an all-region continuous MOSFET model. Simulation results in a commercial 130 nm process corroborate the presented analysis, showing that it is possible to implement this DAC topology for 6 to 8 bits operating under supply voltages from 70 mV to 140 mV.

Chronic care manages long-term, progressive conditions, while acute care addresses short-term conditions. Chronic conditions increasingly strain health systems, which are often unprepared for these demands. This study examines the burden of conditions requiring acute versus chronic care, including sequelae. Conditions and sequelae from the Global Burden of Diseases Study 2019 were classified into acute or chronic care categories. Data were analysed by age, sex, and socio-demographic index, presenting total numbers and contributions to burden metrics such as Disability-Adjusted Life Years (DALYs), Years Lived with Disability (YLD), and Years of Life Lost (YLL). Approximately 68% of DALYs were attributed to chronic care, while 27% were due to acute care. Chronic care needs increased with age, representing 86% of YLDs and 71% of YLLs, and accounting for 93% of YLDs from sequelae. These findings highlight that chronic care needs far exceed acute care needs globally, necessitating health systems to adapt accordingly. © 2025. The Author(s).

One of the major problems in differential calculus is determining the derivative value of a function. A commonly used method is numerical derivative. The value obtained by this method is just approximation value. More accurate derivative value is obtained through analytic approach, by looking for general forms of the derivative function. Problem solving agent approach can be utilized to develop such tool, where the operators and constants in the function should be easily customized. It requires four steps in deriving function: parsing, deriving, simplification, and output returning step. User enters the function in a string, and it will be converted into an abstract syntax tree. This tree is traced by DFS algorithm to be derived and simplified. Based on the test results, the analytical derivation requires short processing time. Derivative results are correct, but simplifications are less optimal in some test cases. The modification of constants, operators, and the derivative rules can be done easily.

This paper addresses feedback stabilization problem for nonlinear dynamic systems with quantized measurements and delays in the presence of external disturbances. In the context, the quantizer has two parameters to adjust the center and the range. The applied controller switches between zooming out phase and zooming in phase repeatedly. Both two phases are divided into two modes. First, based on the trajectory and mechanism of the whole closed-loop system, both the state feedback stabilization and the output feedback stabilization are studied and the results on ISS property are given. Further, we consider the cases with delays, and achieve stabilizable results.

Development of technology will always increasing and end up with many task are able to do something with a simpler way. That way, usually, will be came up with potentially of light illness and continuously accumulate became a big serious one. This systems aim to be constant remainder for user's condition of temperature and heartbeat, so that, the user's temperature and heartbeat will always monitored anytime and anywhere by this device. Temperature measurement is aquiring by infrared sensors which put on forehand and get temperature measurement error data less than 5% comparing to measurement by conventional medical thermometer. whereas heartbeat measurement is aquiring by a couple of infrared and phototransistor and some analog circuit for conditioning electrical signal. The result of heartbeat measurement has an error less than 8% comparing to measurement using pulseoximeter. The two measurement data will be added to watch systems as extra function, so that the measurement activities will not interrupt the user's activity. Next, the measurement data will be synchronized with cloud eHealth server through mediator devices which has android platform, the interconnection between watch and cell phone is complete by bluetooth protocol.

The analysis and design of a resistorless sub-bandgap voltage reference using a Schottky diode instead of a bipolar junction is presented. It is a self-biased circuit and works in the nano-ampere current consumption range at a supply voltage as low as 0.5 V. The design is validated through post-layout simulation results for a 130 nm CMOS technology, including process variability analysis. A voltage reference around 240 mV is achieved for VDD = 1.2V, with a temperature coefficient TC of 43 ppm/°C in the range from -40°C to 120°C and 192 ppm/°C with V DD = 0.5V in the same temperature range. The current consumption is 276 nA for V DD = 1.2V at 27°C, and the silicon area is 0.0016 mm 2 for the entire reference.

Initial stage in software development lifecycle is requirements gathering steps which results a text-based requirements specification *** problem in analyzing those requirements is the difficulty of identifying the functionality of the software,especially when there are so many descriptions elicited from the gathering *** objective of this research is analyzing the process to identify actor and use case of the system to be *** the requirements were described in the form of natural language,therefore it needs natural language *** proposed solution is simplification form by only doing the syntax analysis to provide a quick *** tool is built in Java by accept active sentences in *** evaluation result proves that the tool is able to list actor and use cases from a given system *** future work is able to process passive sentence with complex structure not only in the Subject-Predicate-Object form.
