Given the vast amount of unstructured financial text data available today, there is a high demand for reliable, quality annotations to facilitate robust model development. However, traditional methods can often be expensive and time-inefficient. In this study, we investigate annotations for emotion, sentiment, and cognitive dissonance generated by the large language models (LLMs), GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, for quarterly earnings conference calls and compare them against human annotations obtained via traditional methods. We also investigate different prompt engineering choices on LLM annotation quality, experimenting with 4 styles of prompts centered around varying the amount of contextual information given and how it is presented to the models. Our results show the GPT models are not only more consistent and reliable than human annotators, but also provide annotations in a more cost- and time-efficient manner.

programming can help K-12 students to develop their 21st-century core skills. Despite the benefits, programming is not common to be delivered in Indonesian K-12 education. There is a need to understand potential challenges in introducing programming to K-12 students. We developed a questionnaire survey covering four identified dimensions of challenges: administrative, facilities, teachers, and students. We also asked about common programming assessments and their preferred software features for teaching programming. Forty K-12 teachers were invited to complete the survey. The responses were analyzed with thematic analysis using a bigram-based Latent Dirichlet Allocation topic modeling and descriptive statistics. Our study shows that the challenges include limited learning modules, an insufficient number of computers, limited programming skills, and limited computational thinking skills. Scratch was the most common programming language used and many programming assessments were about debugging a program or writing a small program. Visualization and animation can be helpful in teaching programming.

We present evidence on the current state of utilizing co-design approaches involving older adults in developing electronic healthcare tools (EHTs). Research gaps were identified in defining the stages, involvement processes, and levels of participation using existing theoretical frameworks. Future studies should explore both involvement processes and levels of participation to optimally empower and collaborate with older adults in developing EHTs. © 2022 International Medical informatics Association (IMIA) and IOS Press.

Interest in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven crowd work has increased during the last few years as a line of inquiry that expands upon prior research on microtasking to represent a means of scaling up complex tasks through AI mediation. Despite the increasing attention to the macrotask phenomenon in crowdsourcing, there is a need to understand the processes, elements, and constraints underlying the infrastructural and behavioral aspects in such form of crowd work when involving collaboration. To this end, this paper provides a first attempt to characterize some of the research conducted in this direction to identify important paths for an agenda comprising key drivers, challenges, and prospects for integrating human-centered AI in collaborative crowdsourcing environments.

Transportation of material aggregates over long distances and between islands requires a long time by changing modes of transportation. Therefore, determining a material aggregate travel trajectory model using a web database is something that can help in logistics movement analysis. This study aims to create a web-based material aggregate transportation trajectory model. The data collection method involves extracting data with Google Maps which shows distance and time indications. Next, validation is carried out in the field with a direct survey at the location. The analytical method uses statistical methods to create modeling using a linear regression model approach and statistical tests using anova. The results of the study show that the linear regression model is simple with an independent variable coefficient of 0.0306 and an R-square of 0.8649. Meanwhile, using the ANOVA test, it was stated that the modeling results were quite significant and the model could be used to make predictions.

Multivariate time series (MTS) data, when sampled irregularly and asynchronously, often present extensive missing values. Conventional methodologies for MTS analysis tend to rely on temporal embeddings based on timestamps that necessitate subsequent imputations, yet these imputed values frequently deviate substantially from their actual counterparts, thereby compromising prediction accuracy. Furthermore, these methods typically fail to provide robust initial embeddings for values infrequently observed or even absent within the training set, posing significant challenges to model generalizability. In response to these challenges, we propose SCAlable Numerical Embedding (SCANE), a novel framework that treats each feature value as an independent token, effectively bypassing the need for imputation. SCANE regularizes the traits of distinct feature embeddings and enhances representational learning through a scalable embedding mechanism. Coupling SCANE with the Transformer Encoder architecture, we develop the Scalable nUMerical eMbeddIng Transformer (SUMMIT), which is engineered to deliver precise predictive outputs for MTS characterized by prevalent missing entries. Our experimental validation, conducted across three disparate electronic health record (EHR) datasets marked by elevated missing value frequencies, confirms the superior performance of SUMMIT over contemporary state-of-the-art approaches addressing similar challenges. These results substantiate the efficacy of SCANE and SUMMIT, underscoring their potential applicability across a broad spectrum of MTS data analytical tasks. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. At this time, there are still many institution and organizations that carry out traditional document management. Like storing physical documents in a filing cabinet in a special room. The Faculty of engineering is one of the faculties within the Suryakancana University, Cianjur. There are many streams of documents in the Faculty of engineering, especially those related to academic activities. Such as Teaching Decree, Committee decree, research evidence, and so on. The allocation of scattered documents also varies, such as for reports on lecturers’ performance expenses, submissions for academic positions, and other needs. The designation of these documents can already be done online, so there is no need for physical documents. With so many documents flow in business processes at the Faculty of engineering, a system is needed that can manage all documents contained within the Faculty of engineering. Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) can be regarded as a system that contains various types of documents that can be accessed via a network and supports various accesses such as updates, and modifications simultaneously and automatically. With the EDMS, the flow of documents does not become obstructed. Lecturers can immediately receive documents as soon as they are created. Although document storage is still not well organized, EDMS has been able to assist Lecturers in archiving the required digital files.

Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%.

Technology always have the potential to disruptive the society, especially electronics since this technology follows Moore Laws. Electric vehicle is predicted to change how individuals are going to do their daily commute. Electric motor cycle is an answer to eco-friendly transportation, economical in the operation and will be more affordable in the future for the people. One of the main component for this vehicle is the 3 phase motor controller. Three phase electric motor has an advantage of being light weight, low cost and more compact compare with dc motors with a comparable power. The design is featuring a regenerative braking system which brings back the mechanical energy back to the system on braking time hence a significant advantage to increase energy efficiency, since a major power lost is happening during braking on conventional vehicle. The design on purpose is using 100-125 cc equivalent of gasoline engine since this engine has the most market in Indonesia.
