A dual-staged context aggregation method towards efficient end-to-end speech enhancement

In speech enhancement, an end-to-end deep neural network converts a noisy speech signal to a clean speech directly in time domain without time-frequency transformation or mask estimation. However, aggregating contextual information from a high-resolution time domain signal with an affordable model complexity still remains challenging. In this paper, we propose a densely connected convolutional and recurrent network (DCCRN), a hybrid architecture, to enable dual-staged temporal context aggregation. With the dense connectivity and cross-component identical shortcut, DCCRN consistently outperforms competing convolutional baselines with an average STOI improvement of 0.23 and PESQ of 1.38 at three SNR levels. The proposed method is computationally efficient with only 1.38 million parameters. The generalizability performance on the unseen noise types is still decent considering its low complexity, although it is relatively weaker comparing to Wave-U-Net with 7.25 times more parameters. In this current digital era, the video game is favorite especially among young people. Besides widely known as a form of entertainment, some messages or lessons can be learned from a video game that may affect the players. Conscious or unconscious, games have influenced many sectors of life, and it has been recognized as a serious game and no exception to religion. Human as a living creature, like or dislike or even as an atheist should believe with something out there, and religion is as a medium which connects human with something out there. The game as a representation of entertaining, intelligent application will represent joy and happiness in human life's activities, and inevitably games will influence human religion. In the end, religion game will help the human to increase their faith in those their belief based on their religion. Similar to Information Technology which is implemented in business to increase revenue, the game as an entertaining intelligent application will increase human's faith. One kind of video game that provides it is religion video games which are the result of the incorporation between religion and video games. In this paper, we do a literature review about religion video games. We try to summarize how religious elements can be incorporated into a video game which can be seen from the parts, components, and approaches of the religion video game itself. We also try to summarize the positive side and controversies in religion video games. © 2019 IEEE.

Based on the results of the questionnaire distributed to Primary Teacher Education Students, 96% of students said that Physics is difficult to understand because the material is very complex, many formulas, especially the learning process is done online. This study aims to describe the influence of providing feedback on the motivation of Primary Teacher Education Students in primary school physics courses. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, the instrument used was a questionnaire which was distributed to 115 elementary school education students. The result of the research shows that giving feedback consistently is able to motivate students. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaires distributed, each indicator is of very good value.

Beef color is an important indicator in determining the quality of beef. Unfortunately, currently there is no quantitative and standardized method for classifying and analyzing the color of beef. In the SNI 3932: 2008 Document any procedures undertaken for the assessment of the quality of beef are done organoleptically (Organoleptic test or sensory test is a way of testing by using the human senses as the primary means of measuring the reception power of the product) using the sense of sight of physical appearance of muscle and fat. The physical appearance value of meat and fat is then determined by using standard quality assistive devices. This method is highly subjective and unstable, as well as the speed of slow classification process with low accuracy. In this research, the image color classification system of beef is done by extracting RGB image feature of beef image by using Color feature extraction method to RGB (Red, Green, Blue). The method used to classify the color of the beef image is the Euclidean Distance method. Results obtained from the Color Classification System of Beef Image using Euclidean Distance Method in this study has an accuracy of 60%.

Disability is a person's condition in the physical, intellectual, mental, and/or sensory limitations in the long term. This study is reserved for those who do not have the lower arm in order to operate the computer normally. This study uses orientation sensor on the smartphone as the main sensor to move the cursor and click. Delivery of data from smartphone to computer is using Bluetooth. This study will compare two gestures from a combination of orientation sensors on the upper arm: gesture 1 using pitch-yaw motion and gesture 2 using pitch-roll motion; to move the cursor on the monitor. Left-click and right-click using ANN is to detect upper arm jerk movements. Evaluation using ISO/TS 9241-411 standard: ergonomics of human-system interaction; which includes performance evaluation and comfort of the gesture. Performance results of throughput, movement time, comfort and fatigue between gestures were not significantly different between those gestures. The result of the effort questionnaire is that gesture 1 has the highest effort on the shoulder and gesture 2 has the highest effort on the hand.

Javanese characters is a priceless cultural heritage. The form of the characters and the art of making it become a legacy that deserves to be preserved. The difficulty that is often experienced by the community is in terms of remembering the form, pronunciation, and errors in placing Javanese characters pairs and the lack of available references. Coupled with the elimination of curricula regarding regional languages at the SMA / SMK level. This encourages writers to conduct research and build mobile learning applications for Java characters learning. With the aim of producing a Mobile Learning application that can Assist learning and writing Javanese characters to be more interactive so as to motivate the community to learn Javanese characters. The use of the Gesture API technology that functions when the user starts touching the screen and performs the movements that have been determined by the system and understood by the system itself. The steps taken are analyzing the problem regarding the making of this Java characters mobile learning application through observation, interviews and literature studies to be further identified to obtain data from the general public. Then do the system needs analysis, user needs analysis, while the results will be tested using Black Box and Post Study analysis to determine the extent of the usability system to the problems in the communityThe results of the application built in the form of the introduction of Javanese characters with a gesture board, Javanese characters pronunciation in the form of audio visual and Javanese characters quiz writing so that it was more effective and interactive. With the results of testing the black box test, the application built has been running according to its use and function and based on post study testing obtained the average rating of respondents with the results stated that community categories are acceptable, acceptable and acceptable students.

One of graduation requirements at university is completing undergraduate thesis. At Industrial engineering Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, undergraduate thesis titles are documented by thesis coordinator. The problem is that students are less knowledgeable on thesis topics, so they do not really know the previous students' thesis topics. Based on the problem, this research aims at developing a program to classify thesis title so the knowledge on the trend of thesis title topic can be got The method used in this research was K-Means clustering, while range measurement method used was cosine similarity. The testing used Silhouette Coefficient method. The phases from text mining were tokenizing, filtering, stemming, similarity, classifying, testing. The result of this research is a program that can process the title data into trend group pattern of thesis title topic. From 138 data obtained, there are three clusters arranged based on the field on Industrial engineering study program. Silhouette Coefficient testing shows score of 0.5674 that shows the clustering result is classified low. It occurs since the textual data of the thesis title is too widely distributed, so the title has relatively low similarity score.

Maintenance is an activity to maintain facilities or equipment of the factory and make repairs or adjustments to the necessary replacement to satisfactory condition of production operations in accordance with what is planned. Companies often experience damage to the Blowing machine so that interconnected machines cannot be operated. The purpose of this study was to improve the performance of Blowing line 4 engines with the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method at PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Medan Unit, also to determine the level of Blowing machine performance based on the analysis of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) at PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Medan Unit. The method used in this study is the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) method to measure Ishikawa's treatments and diagrams to compare and propose low engine performance. The results of data processing shows machine maintenance has not comply the OEE standards in July 81.48%, August 81.48%, September 78.07%, October 81.22%, November 78.08%, and those that fill the standards in June amount to 86.48%, with losses that most affect the effectiveness of equipment in line 4 blowroom machine is Equipment Failure Losses of 11.42% based on the results of the study, the proposed improvement in engine performance is to provide training to employees, and increase operator awareness. against engine damage, thus the production process will run smoothly. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The research objective of this is to see how to apply science practicum online using Microsoft Teams and Learning Management System (LMS). The form of this research is classroom action research which aims to apply the online science practicum during the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, it is carried out using two cycles in the application of online science practicum. The subjects of this study were students of the seventh semester in the Natural Science practicum course. Through observation and evaluation, it is shown that in the cycle I the percentage of practicum implementation which includes aspects of preparation, process and data and practicum results is 87.5%, in cycle II it has increased to 92.5%. In the assessment aspect of the practicum report, the average practicum assessment obtained in the first cycle was 3.09 from the highest score of 4 and in the second cycle was 3.7, while the aspect of student knowledge about the use of the Microsoft team which was taken using google form was 93%. In the aspect of student knowledge about the use of Learning Management System (LMS) by 75% and aspects of student understanding in the implementation of online science practicum using Microsoft Teams by 75%.
