With the emergence of the Web of Things (WoT) as Internet of Things (IoT) enhancement in web application, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has developed very rapidly. Its technology has been commonly used in various fields of life, especially in agriculture. One of the crop plants is often achieved by vegetable farming, as vegetables are the staples of daily life. Aim this study is for plating mustard green seeds and watering plant using WoT. This method begins by doing literature review, requirement analysis, design and implementation. The result shows the developing of prototype to planting mustard seeds and watering plant is successful that it can be remotely operated through WoT. The planting and watering process uses Gcode command to carry out seed picks, planting seeds, and water plants.

Augmented Reality is a technology that aims to combine digital content made by computers with the real world in real time. Augmented Reality can be applied in almost all areas of life. One of the applications is in the field of providing information. The publication of registration flow for entrance examination at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya is still using paper media that makes it less interesting on the prospective applicants. Therefore it requires an application based on android to implement the information distribution of registration flow for entrance examination at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. This augmented reality application consists of two menus namely information menu and location menu. Information menu contains motion graphic video of registration flow for entrance examination at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya and location menu contains 3d object of entrance examination at State Polytechnic registration buildings. The research method is divided into several stages, namely design, asset creation, implementation and testing. At the testing stage is divided into two, namely application testing by testing the functionality of the features provided by the application and testing of respondents to determine the effectiveness of registration flow at State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya compared to paper media seen in the respondent's answer of 88.7%.

The increasing number of servers used to support all the activities that assist the production of a company. Usually, it will be a waste, because a physical server cannot share resources such as CPU, RAM, and network. It will force the company to buy a new server each time to implement a new system. Therefore, we examined and analyzed the comparison of performance on a physical server with a virtual server that is built as an IP camera server to answer the needs of the company. After testing and getting the data, we conclude that in the testing of a turn on, restart and shut down servers, virtual servers have very much superior performance compared to physical servers. While in terms of performance of the CPU, RAM, and network, both physical servers and virtual servers do not have a significant difference. However, the important notes are in virtualization, it can perform resource sharing, and this technology is needed by companies in this era. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Augmented Reality is a technology that allows users to see the real world, with virtual objects placed on it or combined with the real world. Augmented Reality itself can be applied to various things, including as an educational media. In the field of education, technology can be used a culture introduction to society. One part of Indonesian culture is traditional houses. Traditional house is a building that symbolizes the culture of the local community. In North Sumatra itself, there are several traditional houses that have different forms. The use of Vuforia SDK in the construction of this application can display augmented objects in the form of 3-dimentional objects and also provide information on the house. This application will run on the Android mobile platform to make it easier for users to access it. There are many object-oriented software quality measurement techniques. One of them is CK metric. This paper utilizes CK metrics to measure qualities per version of an open source software namely Statcato. Measurements are done in each class, each version of the software. The measurement is used to analyze the quality of the software. This paper concludes that the quality of software has improved during its lifecycle, although its features increase. © 2018 IEEE.

ThermalProGAN: A sequence-based thermally stable protein generator trained using unpaired data

MOTIVATION:The synthesis of proteins with novel desired properties is challenging but sought after by the industry and academia. The dominating approach is based on trial-and-error inducing point mutations, assisted by structural information or predictive models built with paired data that are difficult to collect. This study proposes a sequence-based unpaired-sample of novel protein inventor (SUNI) to build ThermalProGAN for generating thermally stable proteins based on sequence information. RESULTS:The ThermalProGAN can strongly mutate the input sequence with a median number of 32 residues. A known normal protein, 1RG0, was used to generate a thermally stable form by mutating 51 residues. After superimposing the two structures, high similarity is shown, indicating that the basic function would be conserved. Eighty four molecular dynamics simulation results of 1RG0 and the COVID-19 vaccine candidates with a total simulation time of 840[Formula: see text]ns indicate that the thermal stability increased. CONCLUSION:This proof of concept demonstrated that transfer of a desired protein property from one set of proteins is feasible. Problem-solving abilities are very important in mathematics, not only for those who will study mathematics in the future but also for those who will apply it in other fields of study and in everyday life because in the process of learning and solving it, students can gain experience using knowledge and skills already possessed to be applied in solving non-routine problems. This study aims to analyze and describe students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through the application of the Differentiated Instruction approach. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. This research was conducted in one of the Vocational High Schools in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, for grade 10 students consisting of two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class, where each class consisted of 24 students. The sampling technique with cluster random sampling was used to collect data. Data collection is done by giving a test on trigonometry material. Data analysis was performed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results of this study indicate that the increase in mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who receive learning using the Differentiated Instruction approach is better than students who receive direct learning.

Fragmentation during the early stages of high-mass star formation is crucial for understanding the formation of high-mass clusters. We investigated fragmentation within 39 high-mass star-forming clumps as part of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array Survey of 70 μm Dark High-mass Clumps in Early Stages (ASHES) survey. Considering projection effects, we have estimated core separations for 839 cores identified from the continuum emission and found mean values between 0.08 and 0.32 pc within each clump. We find compatibility of the observed core separations and masses with the thermal Jeans length and mass, respectively. We also present subclump structures revealed by the 7 m array continuum emission. Comparison of the Jeans parameters using clump and subclump densities with the separation and masses of gravitationally bound cores suggests that they can be explained by clump fragmentation, implying the simultaneous formation of subclumps and cores within rather than a step-by-step hierarchical fragmentation. The number of cores in each clump positively correlates with the clump surface density and the number expected from the thermal Jeans fragmentation. We also find that the higher the fraction of protostellar cores, the larger the dynamic range of the core mass, implying that the cores are growing in mass as the clump evolves. The ASHES sample exhibits various fragmentation patterns: aligned, scattered, clustered, and subclustered. Using the Q -parameter, which can help distinguish between centrally condensed and subclustered spatial core distributions, we finally find that in the early evolutionary stages of high-mass star formation, cores tend to follow a subclustered distribution. © 2024. Massive infrared dark clouds (IRDCs) are considered to host the earliest stages of high-mass star formation. In particular, 70 μm dark IRDCs are the colder and more quiescent clouds. At a scale of about 5000 au using formaldehyde (H₂CO) emission, we investigate the kinetic temperature of dense cores in 12 IRDCs obtained from the pilot Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array Survey of 70 μm dark High-mass clumps in Early Stages (ASHES). Compared to the 1.3 mm dust continuum and other molecular lines, such as C¹⁸O and deuterated species, we find that H₂CO is mainly sensitive to low-velocity outflow components rather than to quiescent gas expected in the early phases of star formation. The kinetic temperatures of these components range from 26 to 300 K. The Mach number reaches about 15 with an average value of about 4, suggesting that the velocity distribution of gas traced by H₂CO is significantly influenced by a supersonic nonthermal component. In addition, we detect warm line emission from HC₃N and OCS in 14 protostellar cores, which requires high excitation temperatures (E _u/k ∼ 100 K). These results show that some of the embedded cores in the ASHES fields are in an advanced evolutionary stage, previously unexpected for 70 μm dark IRDCs. © 2024. The Author(s). DeepDistance: A multi-task deep regression model for cell detection in inverted microscopy images

This paper presents a new deep regression model, which we call DeepDistance, for cell detection in images acquired with inverted microscopy. This model considers cell detection as a task of finding most probable locations that suggest cell centers in an image. It represents this main task with a regression task of learning an inner distance metric. However, different than the previously reported regression based methods, the DeepDistance model proposes to approach its learning as a multi-task regression problem where multiple tasks are learned by using shared feature representations. To this end, it defines a secondary metric, normalized outer distance, to represent a different aspect of the problem and proposes to define its learning as complementary to the main cell detection task. In order to learn these two complementary tasks more effectively, the DeepDistance model designs a fully convolutional network (FCN) with a shared encoder path and end-to-end trains this FCN to concurrently learn the tasks in parallel. DeepDistance uses the inner distances estimated by this FCN in a detection algorithm to locate individual cells in a given image. For further performance improvement on the main task, this paper also presents an extended version of the DeepDistance model. This extended model includes an auxiliary classification task and learns it in parallel to the two regression tasks by sharing feature representations with them. Our experiments on three different human cell lines reveal that the proposed multi-task learning models, the DeepDistance model and its extended version, successfully identify cell locations, even for the cell line that was not used in training, and improve the results of the previous deep learning methods.
