The Brazilian grain production for 2014/15 was estimated at 200.682 million tons, which corresponds to 15.08% of world production. The largest Brazilian producer is the state of Mato Grosso, which produces about 29.3% of soybeans in Brazil. The objective of this study was to develop and analyze a computerized decision model to determine the best cargo transportation route. For this reason, a model was created using Fuzzy Logic on MATLAB®R2015b software. The input values were: US$3.25 / ton / 100km for cost, 27.7 hours for time and 94.2% for reliability, and pointed preferably the port of Itaqui with priority 5.94, to Miritituba priority 5.41, the third choice would be Santos Priority 4.82 and finally the Paranaguá destination with priority 4.02. It could be concluded that it is possible to make the decision to which harbor to export through the use of technical criteria, after testing the model.

The scoreboard is designed and made for a universal use that can be used in matches in some sports such as basketball, futsal, ping pong, badminton, and others. The scoreboard is designed and made based on the needs of several sports in the Student Activity Unit at HKBP Nommensen University which can be easily moved. Scores displayed on the scoreboard is not only the result of the game but also displayed time in the countdown. This scoreboard can be operated by using a cable and can also without using a cable by using a mobile phone through communication using bluetooth. This scoreboard is based on a microcontroller and uses backup power through rechargeable batteries that can be automatically charged. In trials in several games, this tool works well with a few drawbacks in case of a match that takes more than 100 minutes because the time display can only display a maximum time of 99 minutes. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In Kepulauan Riau, have a direct border with Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Kamboja. This issue makes Kepulauan Riau have particular National Border Agencies from many Government Institution. In this research, conduct communication analysis between government Institution to run the task as National Border Agencies. The Analysis using Centrality from communication pattern in every institution. The centrality data clustering with meanshift to get a cluster of communication National Border Agencies.

Along with technological improvements, online shopping is currently developing quickly. Online shops started by selling electronics, clothing, food, and home appliances and continue to evolve, selling various things. Currently, digital marketing has a novel technique, namely live shopping, where sellers can present, promote and offer their products directly through live streaming on social media and e-commerce platforms. This research will focus on gaining insight into the factors influencing customers to watch and purchase through live streaming. This research is an early-stage study of exploring and searching for research models. The study used a literature review approach by reviewing similar previous research articles. Several variable components were used in this study. The findings of the factors include visibility capacity, meta-vocation capacity, purchase orientation capacity, social presence, price, perceived product quality, perceived enjoyment, purchase orientation, perceived usefulness, and intention to buy. These factors were tested and proved to be valid with Cronbach's Alpha value being more than 0.5 and reliable with the value of the loading factor a greater than 0.6. Criteria The factors of the findings for further analysis of the relationship between factors and other variables. © 2023 IEEE.

Prediction Tool on Fine Particle Pollutants and Air Quality for Environmental Engineering

This article focuses on the research, design and implementation of a prediction tool for air quality to estimate pollutant concentrations, contributing to environmental engineering. It addresses prediction of fine particle air pollutants of diameter less than 2.5 µm (particulate matter 2.5), their concentration being substantially influenced by urban traffic. We collect worldwide multicity data from health-related public sources on which mining is performed using classical data mining/machine learning paradigms: association rules, clustering and classification. Challenges include adapting appropriate techniques based on data, and capturing subtle domain-specific aspects. The prediction tool is built using knowledge discovered by mining, leveraging health standards, catering to novice, intermediate and expert users. The prediction output is accurate, efficient, interpretable and useful as evident from our experiments. The tool is helpful for urban decision support. This work is beneficial in developing software systems such as intelligent tutors, mobile device apps and smart city tools. It contributes to smart environment, mobility and living, making a positive impact on smart cities and sustainability. In this work, we claim that classical computational paradigms in their fundamental form can be adapted to solve environmental engineering problems, with easy comprehension, as per the Occam’s razor principle that advocates simplicity. This article constitutes applied research: using computational techniques to solve domain-specific problems. Future work includes exploring models in deep learning such as CNN and Bi-LSTM, and considering different types of pollutants as well as other sources besides multicity traffic data, to conduct further studies. Cancer is viewed as the most harmful disease in the world. One of the most deadly cancer diseases attacking the women is breast cancer. In this paper, used Naïve Bayes classifier Kernel Density Estimation in breast cancer Wisconsin dataset take from UCI data repository. Naïve Bayes with Kernel Density Estimation was used as it could enable the Naïve Bayes to process the quantitative data. However, the performance of KDE (kernel density estimation) highly depends upon the size of the bandwidth parameter used to control the curve. The problem an accurate choice of parameter bandwidth (h) using trial and error technique requires a long process. A large bandwidth (h) will over-smooth the density and mask the structure in the data, a small bandwidth (h) will yield a density estimate that is spiky and very hard to interpret. The aim of this research is to compare the optimization of grid search parameter with the genetic algorithm to determine the bandwidth parameter (h) on the Naïve Bayes Kernel Density Estimator algorithm. The parameters used to compare the two optimization methods included accuracy, AUC (Area under Curve), and computation time. The experiment results on the test of the significance value on the comparison of grid search and algorithm in determination of the bandwidth parameter (h) naïve Bayes kernel density used Mann-Whitney Test. The result of the significance ranking showed that mean rank of the genetic algorithm accuracy was 489.95 better than the mean value of the rank of grid search accuracy at only 189.05, mean rank of AUC genetic algorithm was 491.82 better than mean rank of AUC grid search only at 187.18. The mean rank of computation time grid search was 243.37 faster than mean rank of computation time genetic algorithm at 435.63.

Long-term care facilities are currently exposed to powerful forces demanding organisational change based on synergy and cooperation. The adoption of network structures is frequently regarded as an appropriate solution to this challenge by health politics. Focusing on the concrete example of the integrated long-term care network for the elderly in the Austrian land of Tyrol, the article aims (1) to explore which criteria the lawgiver formulated for the nursing cooperation structures, (2) to examine which targets and functional requirements the managers of the nursing institutions involved theoretically demand from a network structure in long-term care and (3) to investigate the functionality of the network by means of an empirical study focusing on the processes at interorganisational interfaces. Merging the major findings of the legal, theoretical and empirical enquiry, structural and functional efficiency criteria are derived, which are suggested as a framework for the evaluation of integrative nursing networks. Recently, with the widespread use of social media, the speed of information dissemination has significantly increased. As a result, users have started selectively consuming information, leading to a bias in information consumption. One prominent phenomenon of information consumption bias is the echo chamber effect. While the social impact of the echo chamber effect is diverse, notable instances include its influence on health and politics. These cases highlight situations not adequately captured by the conventional definition of the echo chamber effect. In response, this study proposes a new definition of echo chambers, aiming to explore instances where opinions are not only reinforced but also undergo *** substantiate this proposal, the study employs specific verification methods. It investigates differences in the distribution of singularity at points of opinion reinforcement and change. Additionally, it explores variances in the emotional impact of video content and the distribution of echo chamber scores. The findings demonstrate that echo chambers occur not only when opinions are reinforced but also when they undergo changes. The newly proposed definition of the echo chambers suggests a situation where individuals immerse themselves in opinions that pique their interest, regardless of their own thoughts, resulting in a feedback loop of reinforcing and potentially changing perspectives.

Representing Medical Protocols for Organizational Simulation: An Information-Processing Approach

Organizational simulations have been used in business, manufacturing, and engineering design tasks to gain insight into organizational process bottlenecks, and to improve the quality and efficiency of processes within these industries. As market pressures demand increased efficiencies within the health care industry, organizational simulation techniques could provide similar insight into the design of better medical care processes, or protocols, in medical organizations. To simulate the process of medical care within a specific organization however, requires models that can represent (1) unpredictable patient responses to care, (2) the flexibility needed to adapt to different patients, and (3) different preferences of health care professionals and the implicit preferences contained within the protocol. Using previous work on simulation in the Virtual Design Team (VDT), and an example protocol drawn from an existing protocol in bone marrow transplantation, we describe extensions to the VDT information-processing representation that will allow us to simulate the performance characteristics of a medical protocol used within a medical organization. Our representational extensions capture the uncertainty of medical care for patients, the activity flexibility within the organization, and the preferences of health care professionals that will make information-processing organizational simulations in the medical domain possible. We believe our representation will provide a robust simulation “tool box” that can be used to investigate the performance of specific medical protocols within different hospital settings, and explore organizational theory within the health care industry.

I-DCOP: Train Classification Based on an Iterative Process Using Distributed Constraint Optimization

This paper presents an iterative process based on Distributed Constraint Optimization (I-DCOP), to solve train classification problems. The input of the I-DCOP is the train classification problem modelled as a DCOP, named Optimization Model for Train Classification (OMTC). OMTC generates a feasible schedule for a train classification problem defined by the inbound trains, the total of outbound trains and the cars assigned to them. The expected result, named feasible schedule, leads to the correct formation of the outbound trains, based on the order criteria defined. The OMTC also minimizes the schedule execution time and the total number of roll-ins (operation executed on cars, sometimes charged by the yards). I-DCOP extends the OMTC including the constraints of limited amount of classification tracks ant their capacity. However, these constraints are included iteratively by adding domain restrictions on the OMTC. Both OMTC and I-DCOP have been measured using scenarios based on real yard data. OMTC has generated optimal and feasible schedules to the scenarios, optimizing the total number of roll-ins. I-DCOP solved more complex scenarios, providing sub-optimal solutions. The experiments have shown that distributed constraint optimization problems can include additional constraints based on interactively defined domain.
