OpenModelica is a unique large-scale integrated open-source Modelica- and FMI-based modeling, simulation, optimization, model-based analysis and development environment. Moreover, the OpenModelica environment provides a number of facilities such as debugging;optimization;visualization and 3D animation;web-based model editing and simulation;scripting from Modelica, Python, Julia, and Matlab;efficient simulation and co-simulation of FMI-based models;compilation for embedded systems;Modelica-UML integration;requirement verification;and generation of parallel code for multi-core architectures. The environment is based on the equation-based object-oriented Modelica language and currently uses the MetaModelica extended version of Modelica for its model compiler implementation. This overview paper gives an up-to-date description of the capabilities of the system, short overviews of used open source symbolic and numeric algorithms with pointers to published literature, tool integration aspects, some lessons learned, and the main vision behind its development.

Arrhenius activation energy of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid over a cone with radiation absorption

This study focuses on an incompressible non-Newtonian nanofluid in a 2-dimensional transient boundary layer through a cone. The Arrhenius activation energy and radiation absorption are both accounted for the nonNewtonian nanofluid model. The Runge-Kutta integration method via ODE45 MATlab bvp4c is used and the converted coupled nonlinear equations are solved numerically. The numerical results are obtained for the nanoparticle concentration temperature, velocity distributions and also Sherwood number, Nusselt number, and skin friction for different values of the parameters, specifically the convection parameter, Prandtl number, nanofluid parameters and Lewis number. Also there are some discussions over the dependence of the thermophysical characteristics on these factors. Analyzing the impacts of activation energy and radiation absorption is a new approach which is the main novelty of this study. As results when the activation energy parameter has higher values, the skin friction decreases, but the Nusselt value and the Sherwood value exhibits reverse tendency. Skin-friction and the Sherwood value both are increasing as the values of the radiation absorption parameter go up, but the Nusselt number exhibits the reverse pattern. We compared the outcomes of our study with previous works to show the efficiency of this research.

In recent years, the world has faced many destructive diseases that have taken many lives across the globe. To resist these diseases, humankind needs medicine to control, cure, and predict the behaviour of such problems. Recently, the Corona virus, which primarily affects the lungs, has threatened the globe. Similarly, tobacco-related illnesses impair the immune system, and this reduces the ability to fight against Covid-19. This tobacco-smoking version is vital for the researchers to reap the solution by using the q-homotopy analysis transform method with the useful resource of the Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo impression. Hence, the graphical illustrations have been discussed to achieve a solution for this mathematical model. This work applies the q-homotopy analysis transform method to the preeminent fractional operator Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo to better comprehend the infectious model of tobacco snuffing and smoking. Figures and tables are used to display the outcomes. The paper also aids in the analysis of the practical theory by predicting how it would behave when compared to the rules when considering the replica. It offers accurate grid point outcomes and fixes. The system's accuracy in the convergent zone is shown by the curves. The smoking model has been illustrated using graphical findings and fractional derivatives for easier comprehension. It's feasible that applications in the real world will make use of fractional derivatives.

Current disquisition is aimed to adumbrate thermosolutal convective diffusion transport in Casson fluid filled in hexagonal enclosure under effectiveness of inclined magnetic field. Partially iso-concentration and iso-temperature distributions at base wall of enclosure is provided along with incorporation of fillets at corners of flow domain. Governing formulation in 2D are expressed in a velocity-pressure, energy and concentration bal-ance equations. Numerical computations are executed by employing COMSOL Multiphysics software based on finite element scheme. Domain discretization in manifested by performing hybrid meshing in view of 2D ele-ments. Linear and quadric interpolating polynomials for pressure and other associated distributions are capi-talized. Non-linearized discretization system is handled by non-linear solver renowned as PARADISO. Results and code validation is assured by performing comparison and grid convergence test respectively. The impact of flow concerning variables by considering wide ranges like Casson parameter (0.1 <= beta <= 10), Rayleigh number (10(4) <= Ra <= 10(7)), Hartmann number (20 <= Ha <= 80) and Lewis number (0.1 <= Le <= 10) on velocity, isothermal and isoconcentration fields are visualized through graphs and tables. Visualization about kinetic energy along with heat and mass transfer rates are disclosed through graphs and tables.

We use computational methods to examine the behavior of a nanofluid in three dimensions flows through a circular cylinder whose radius varies sinusoidally. The fundamental equations are derived and simplified to highly nonlinear ODEs by using similarity transformations. The bvp4c performs a numerical solution to the resultant nonlinear system. Sherwood number, Nusselt number and Skin-friction are also assessed because of their importance in the engineering field. Viscous dissipation's influence is crucial to the heating and cooling processes. The thermal boundary layer improves and the concentration boundary layer weakens as the Eckert number rises. In proportion to the magnitude of activation energy is augmented, while flow of wall mass is diminished. Besides, the results shows that the Nusselt number rises with progresses in the instability parameter and the Lewis number. An important point to note is that the Nusselt number decrements with increasing Eckert number and enhance with rising Brownian parameter. Moreover, when the nodal/saddle point parameter is increased, the longitudinal skin-friction coefficient decreases while the skin-friction coefficient in the vertical direction rises. The novelty of this study is related to: i) the considering the energy activation in the problem, ii) the analyzing in the form of unsteady, iii) the comprehensive solutions for magnetic effect. The results of this work can be applicable in industries dramatically where local cooling and heating through impingement jets are required in electronic devices, heat sinks, drying technologies, etc.

In this paper, we consider a conformable fractional differential equation with a constant coefficient and obtain an approximation for this equation using the Radu-Mihet method, which is derived from the alternative fixed-point theorem. Considering the matrix-valued fuzzy k-normed spaces and matrix-valued fuzzy H-Fox function as a control function, we investigate the existence of a unique solution and Hyers-Ulam-H-Fox stability for this equation. Finally, by providing numerical examples, we show the application of the obtained results.

Properties of redundant residue number system (RRNS) are used for detecting and correcting errors during the data storing, processing and transmission. However, detection and correction of a single error require significant decoding time due to the iterative calculations needed to locate the error. In this paper, we provide a performance evaluation of Asmuth-Bloom and Mignotte secret sharing schemes with three different mechanisms for error detecting and correcting: Projection, Syndrome, and AR-RRNS. We consider the best scenario when no error occurs and worst-case scenario, when error detection needs the longest time. When examining the overall coding/decoding performance based on real data, we show that AR-RRNS method outperforms Projection and Syndrome by 68% and 52% in the worst-case scenario.

The current study investigates the laminar flow of boundary layer using a porous surface shrinking exponentially under varying magnetic field, suction/injection, radiation on velocity and thermal slips. The dimensionless nonlinear differential equations were also defined in terms of governing partial differential equations and applying similarity transformations. The equations were analytically solved following the homotopy analysis method (HAM). An excellent agreement is observed in comparison with theavailable literature in special case (Skin friction coefficient). In the current study, an analytic solution is obtained for the laminar incompressible MHD boundary layer viscous fluid flow problem on the exponentially electrically conducting porous shrinking surface. The impact of different parameters like injection/suction, Prandtl number, radiation, velocity slip, thermal slip, as well as the magnetic field on different velocity and temperature values have been presented graphically, and have been discussed in detail. The f ''(0) skin friction rises with higher suction parameter s(> 0) values, magnetic parameter M but it decreases when the slip parameter value is increased. Dielectric electrically small antennae are attracting high interest due to their promising applications both in optical and microwave bands. Efficiency of such antennas is usually bounded by low directivity. The stochastic optimization procedure is used to demonstrate superdirective designs of small all-dielectric antennas being spherical multilayer structure. The procedure is based on an efficient and accurate rigorous electromagnetic model which allows for performing large scale optimization on personal computers with limited resources. For optimization we compared different stochastic algorithms, and the JADE demonstrated the best performance. The found designs possess the directivity that go beyond the conventional theoretical bounds for antennas smaller than the wavelength and outperform previously attained results.

In this work, we address the hard clustering problem. We present a new clustering algorithm based on evolutionary computation searching a best partition with respect to a given quality measure. We present 32 partition transformation that are used as mutation operators. The algorithm is a (1 + 1) evolutionary strategy that selects a random mutation on each step from a subset of preselected mutation operators. Such selection is performed with a classifier trained to predict usefulness of each mutation for a given dataset. Comparison with state-of-the-art approach for automated clustering algorithm and hyperparameter selection shows the superiority of the proposed algorithm.
