We study a non interleaving subalgebra of a reduct of a model of ACP. The model discussed uses step bisimulation semantics. We can derive identities in this model with the help of the (interleaving) ACP calculus with multi-actions. Applications of internet-of-things(IoT)are increasingly being used in many facets of our daily life,which results in an enormous volume of *** computing and fog computing,two of the most common technologies used in IoT applications,have led to major security *** are on the rise as a result of the usage of these technologies since present security measures are *** artificial intelligence(AI)based security solutions,such as intrusion detection systems(IDS),have been proposed in recent *** technologies that require data preprocessing and machine learning algorithm-performance augmentation require the use of feature selection(FS)techniques to increase classification accuracy by minimizing the number of features *** the other hand,metaheuristic optimization algorithms have been widely used in feature selection in recent *** this paper,we proposed a hybrid optimization algorithm for feature selection in *** proposed algorithm is based on grey wolf(GW),and dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithms and is referred to as *** proposed algorithm has a better balance between the exploration and exploitation steps of the optimization process and thus could achieve better *** the employed IoT-IDS dataset,the performance of the proposed GWDTO algorithm was assessed using a set of evaluation metrics and compared to other optimization approaches in 2678 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 the literature to validate its *** addition,a statistical analysis is performed to assess the stability and effectiveness of the proposed *** results confirmed the superiority of the proposed approach in boosting the classification accuracy of the intrusion in IoT-based networks.

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), also known as the Stein-Leventhal syndrome is one of the most common causes of anovulation, infertility and hyperandrogenism in women, affecting between 5–10 % of women of reproductive age (12–35 years) worldwide. Despite substantial effort to define the cause of PCOS, its pathophysiology remains poorly understood. Consequently, determining the mechanisms of PCOS and the possible treatment is the major goal of medical research in endocrine and reproductive physiology. Aim: To investigate the mechanism of ovarian metabolic changes in dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)-induced polycystic ovary in Wistar rats treated with vitamin C. Methods: Twenty-eight immature female Wistar rats weighing (16–21 g) were randomly divided into four groups (n = 7/group): group I served as control and was given water, group II were injected with DHEA (6 mg/100 g in 0.2 ml corn oil subcutaneously to induce PCOS condition), group III received 150 mg/kg BW of Vitamin C orally, group IV were co-administered with 6 mg/kg BW DHEA in 0.2 ml of corn oil subcutaneously and 150 mg/kg BW of Vitamin C orally. All treatments lasted for 15 days. Twenty-four hours after the last administration, the rats were sacrificed by cervical dislocation. Blood samples and ovaries were collected for reproductive hormonal analysis, biochemical and histopathological analysis. The expressions of mRNA androgen receptor gene in the ovary were determined by real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. All data were analysed using one-way ANOVA. Results: There was a significant decrease (p < 0.05) in the antioxidant and metabolic enzyme activity in the DHEA treated group compared with the control group. DHEA co-administration with Vitamin C showed a significant decrease in Malondialdehyde, cytokines and Estrogen and a significant increase (p < 0.05) in antioxidant and metabolic enzymes compared with DHEA treated group only. The article proposes a method of zero-watermarking for colored RGB bitmap images. This algorithm can be used to protect property rights to multimedia resources in which it is impossible to use ordinary watermarks due to the impossibility of changing the image (such as medical data where high accuracy is required and the appearance of artifacts is unacceptable) or due to the presence of a higher distortion of the container. This algorithm is based on DWT, SVD and operations in the field by modulo 256. The software implementation of the algorithm was developed (using the Accord and *** libraries to implement DWT, SVD). The software implementation of the algorithm was tested. This algorithm has advantages in the form of normalization of the average error, but it needs further research to improve its performance.

The development of domestically generated food additives based on eco-technologies with specified functional-technological and bioactive qualities is now a significant focus of contemporary study. Pickering emulsions are more stable both physically and chemically, making them a highly promising method of introducing biologically active chemicals into the body. The purpose of this research was to determine if ultrasound could be used to create a bioactive colloidal Pickering emulsion system using flax cellulose or brown algal polysaccharides as a stabilizer. Pickering emulsions stabilized with fucoidan, sodium alginate, or flax cellulose, based on a lipid fraction of sunflower oil and cinnamon oil blend, or a lipid fraction of linseed oil, were applied to the subjects, who were then subjected to ultrasound treatment at 630W/l for 16 min (4 min on, 3 min off) at a controlled temperature of 50 °C. The results obtained demonstrate the effectiveness of using ultrasonic exposure to create bioactive Pickering emulsion colloidal systems. Fucoidan stabilizes pickering emulsion, with the highest AOA values (5.120±0.005 DPPH, %) and a rise in AOA values in linseed oil-based emulsion samples from 30% to 100% in comparison to emulsion samples based on a blend of lipid phases. The viscoelastic characteristics of Pickering emulsions with various oil fractions vary dramatically for the integrated structure-forming components. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings. The notion of "time" plays an important role when coordinating large, heterogeneous, distributed software systems. We present a generic coordination architecture that supports relative and absolute, discrete time. First, we briefly sketch the ToolBus coordination architecture. This paper presents an Ontology-based health care information extraction system - VnHIES. In the system, we develop and use two effective algorithms called "Semantic Elements Extracting Algorithm" and "New Semantic Elements Learning Algorithm" for health care semantic words extraction and ontology enhancement. The former algorithm will extract Concepts (Cs), Descriptions of concepts (Ds), Pairs of Concept and Description(C-D) and Names of diseases (Ns) in health care information domain from web pages. Those extracted semantic elements are used by latter algorithm that will render suggestions in which might contain new semantic elements for later use by domain users to enrich ontology. After extracting semantic elements, a "Document Weighting Algorithm" is applied to get summary information of document with respect to all extracted semantic words and then to be stored in knowledge base which contains ontology and database to be used later in other applications. Our experiment results show that the approach is very optimistic with high accuracy in semantic extracting and efficiency in ontology upgrade. VnHIES can be used in many health care information management systems such as medical document classification, health care information retrieval system. VnHIES is implemented in Vietnamese language. © 2007 IEEE.

Face representation learning using datasets with a massive number of identities requires appropriate training methods Softmax-based approach, currently the state-of-the-art in face recognition, in its usual "full softmax" form is not suitable for datasets with millions of persons Several methods, based on the "sampled softmax" approach, were proposed to remove this limitation These methods, however, have a set of disadvantages One of them is a problem of "prototype obsolescence": classifier weights (prototypes) of the rarely sampled classes receive too scarce gradients and become outdated and detached from the current encoder state, resulting in incorrect training signals This problem is especially serious in ultra-large-scale datasets In this paper, we propose a novel face representation learning model called Prototype Memory, which alleviates this problem and allows training on a dataset of any size Prototype Memory consists of the limited-size memory module for storing recent class prototypes and employs a set of algorithms to update it in appropriate way New class prototypes are generated on the fly using exemplar embeddings in the current mini-batch These prototypes are enqueued to the memory and used in a role of classifier weights for softmax classification-based training To prevent obsolescence and keep the memory in close connection with the encoder, prototypes are regularly refreshed, and oldest ones are dequeued and disposed of Prototype Memory is computationally efficient and independent of dataset size It can be used with various loss functions, hard example mining algorithms and encoder architectures We prove the effectiveness of the proposed model by extensive experiments on popular face recognition benchmarks. © 2021, CC BY.

Data mining has become an important and active area of research because of theoretical challenges and practical applications associated with the problem of discovering interesting and previously unknown knowledge from very large real world database. These databases contain potential gold mine of valuable information, but it is beyond human ability to analyze massive amount of data and elicit meaningful patterns by using conventional techniques. In this study, DNA sequence was analyzed to locate promoter which is a regulatory region of DNA located upstream of a gene, providing a control point for regulated gene transcription. In this study, some supervised learning algorithms such as artificial neural network (ANN), RULES-3 and newly developed keREM rule induction algorithm were used to analyse to DNA sequence. In the experiments different option of keREM, RULES-3 and ANN were used, and according to the empirical comparisons, the algorithms appeared to be comparable to well-known algorithms in terms of the accuracy of the extracted rule in classifying unseen data.
