Previously, robots were mainly used by big companies in high volume manufacturing (i.e.: car industry). Industrial robots were perfect to execute procedures simplified to tiny (angular) movements. Today robots have appeared in small and medium enterprises, and they will appear rapidly in non-engineering fields as well, like offices, hospitals, and even in our homes. Robotics grains ground in newer and newer fields and it is too wide to overview it in one paper. This paper tries to summarize the nowadays robotics trends from the point of view of industrial electronics and industrial informatics.

This paper describes the experimental semi - automatically technology for construction of thematic collections. The crawler (a program that retrieves WEB pages) is used as a basis of this technology. The main principles of the crawler were discussed. The usage of this program for gathering topic specific documents from the Internet is reported. This technology can be used for construction of collections of mathematical WEB material. Obtained results for some topics indicate that additional work is needed to improve this technology.

In this paper we study an elastic-plastic isotropic body weakened by a rectilinear crack, directed along the abscissa axis, under the action of stresses symmetrical about its plane. An approximate (analytical and numerical) solution of this problem is constructed under the condition that the hydrostatic deformation of the split expansion is approximated by a parabola. The concentration of hydrogen near the top of the crack is calculated. Note that when using the above calculation formulas, at each node we get several approximations to the exact solution. In the proposed methods, only three appeals to the right-hand side of the differential equation are necessary to obtain both the third order accuracy method and the two approximations (upper and lower) of the second order of accuracy.

An LR-based parser generator for arbitrary context-free grammars is described, which generates parsers by need and processes grammar modifications by updating already existing parsers. We motivate the need for these techniques in the context of interactive language definition environments, present all required algorithms, and give measurements comparing their performance with that of conventional techniques.

The article is devoted to the development of means for recognition of the emotions of the speaker, based on the neural network analysis of fixed fragments of the voice signal. The possibility of improving recognition tools through the use of a convolutional neural network of the GoogLeNet type is shown. The expediency of training the network on the examples of the TESS database is determined. A procedure for representing a voice signal in the form of a square grayscale image has been developed. Based on the use of the specified database, the modification of the GoogLeNet network was carried out. The architecture and software implementation of the recognition module have been developed. With the help of computer experiments, it has been established that after 150 epochs of training on a fairly limited training sample, the modified GoogLeNet makes it possible to achieve an accuracy of recognition of the speaker's emotions of approximately 0.97 on test examples. The obtained accuracy is comparable to the accuracy of the best modern systems of this purpose and confirms the promise of using neural network models like GoogLeNet for emotion recognition based on voice signal analysis. The need for further research aimed at reducing the resource intensity of the neural network model is shown. © 2022 IEEE.

In recent decades, global climate change has become one of the most critical environmental issues, leading to increased environmental and social concerns about the sustainability of logistics networks. This study proposes a novel multi-objective, multi-facility location–allocation model for a two-stage solid logistics network that supports green practices. To account for uncertainty in real-world problems, some parameters of the model are represented as triangular type-2 neutrosophic numbers to deal with hesitant situations. The fuzzy model is then converted into a deterministic one using a new ranking approach. Three conflicting objective functions – minimizing total financial costs, maximizing customers’ satisfaction levels, and ensuring sustainable and effective conveyances – are simultaneously optimized using the ϵ-constraint approach. The proposed model and solution approach are tested with two numerical examples. A comparative study is also presented, comparing the proposed approach with other Pareto-based multi-objective approaches, such as the global criterion approach, multi-objective fuzzy programming, and weighted Chebychev programming. Finally, the paper concludes with some remarks. © 2023

Here a real life optimal control problem under fuzzy time period using variational principle is formulated and Solved. The unit production cost is a function of production rate and also dependent on raw material cost, development cost due to durability and wear-tear cost. The holding cost is assumed to be non-linear, dependent on time. The profit function which consists of revenue, production cost and holding cost is formulated as a Fuzzy-Final Time and Fixed State System optimal control problem with fuzzy time period. Here production rate is unknown and considered as a control variable and stock level is taken as a state variable. It is formulated to optimize the production rate so that total profit is maximum. Wheat is the most important source of food on earth and vital for food safety. It contains 75–80% carbohydrates, 9–18% protein, fiber, many vitamins (especially B vitamins), calcium, iron, and many macronutrients and micronutrients. According to data from the International Grain Council (IGC), wheat has continued to be the most important food grain source for humans in the world. Therefore, determining wheat production behavior has a very important role in food security. In this study, we have modeled and forecasted the production of wheat for 6 years from 2020 to 2025 using ARIMA and Holt’s linear trend models in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Nepal, and Pakistan, which are all countries in the South Asian region. Since there is an expectation of a decrease in wheat production in some of these countries, this study can provide these countries with the information they need to take appropriate decisions to prevent the occurrence of food problems in the future and to help deal with food security. Moreover, this projection helps with policy implications and planning.

Microbial biofilm build-up in water distribution systems can pose a risk to human health and pipe material integrity. The impact is more devastating in space stations and to astronauts due to the isolation from necessary replacement parts and medical resources. As a result, there is a need for coatings to be implemented onto the inner region of the pipe to minimize the adherence and growth of biofilms. Lubricant-infused surfaces has been one such interesting material for anti-biofouling applications in which their slippery property promotes repellence to many liquids and thus prevents bacterial adherence. Textured and porous films are suitable substrate candidates to infuse and contain the lubricant. However, there is little investigation in utilizing a nanoporous thin film as the substrate material for lubricant infusion. A nanoporous film has high porosity within the structure which can promote greater lubricant infusion and retention. The implementation as a thin film structure aids to reduce material consumption and cost. In our study, we utilized a well-studied nanoporous thin film fabricated via layer-by-layer assembly of polycations and colloid silica and calcination for greater stability. The film was further functionalized to promote fluorinated groups upon the surface and pores of the film, which then could interact with a fluorinated lubricant. The pristine nanoporous film was characterized to determine its morphology, thickness, wettability, and porosity. The lubricant-infused film was then tested for its lubricant layer stability upon various washing conditions and its performance against bacterial biofilm adherence as a result of its slippery and thus anti-biofouling property. In recent years, with the continuous growth of social and economic level, people's living standard has also been constantly improved. Under this background, contemporary people highly respect a good living environment, and the importance of building interior decoration engineering has been fully reflected. As one of the important design contents of interior decoration, the use level and effect of color will directly affect the overall visual effect of interior decoration and the comfort of interior space. Through the rational collocation of colors, the artistic characteristics of interior decoration can be displayed, which can also show the important role of color in interior decoration. In modern interior decoration, the use of colors is gradually enriched, and the use of multiple colors leads to the problem of actual color matching. Image segmentation, which is the premise of image recognition and tracking, divides an image into regions with different characteristics and extracts interesting objects. This technology has been widely used in military affairs, medicine, intelligent transportation, pedestrian detection, product inspection, sports, remote sensing, machine vision and other fields. Therefore, good color matching is very important in the actual interior decoration practice.
