In this work, a new intelligent control method that combines a genetic algorithm with a fuzzy control approach is used to look into the control system of an intelligent crane robot made for a gantry crane robot system with second-order nonholonomic constraints. Methodology: To create the intelligent control system for the gantry crane robot, fuzzy control techniques, and genetic algorithms were integrated. This method can swiftly and accurately achieve the position control task of the gantry crane robot while maintaining good stability. Results: The results show that the final two joint angles tend to stabilize the expected values, with angle errors of (0.031, 0.004) rad and relative errors within 3%. The active joint driving torque curve, the whole movement process, is relatively stable, and the expected position is achieved accurately, which fully shows that the designed controller is effective for the position control of the gantry crane robot. Conclusion: This method can be extended to the position control of multi-DOF gantry crane robots. When dealing with the high-dimensional problems of MIMO complex fuzzy models, the introduced structural decoupling identification method can fundamentally solve the dimensional disaster problem of multi-input, multi-output fuzzy systems. © 2025 Slovene Society Informatika. Taking a shear wall structure in a high-intensity area of 20 floors as an example, the seismic reduction scheme of the structure was determined, and the Etabs software was used to conduct time history analysis on the seismic and non-seismic structures. The floor shear force, overturning moment, and short-term surface pressure of the isolation support were obtained. The results showed that under frequent earthquake action, the average maximum floor shear force in the X direction of the isolated upper structure was only about 28 % of that of the non-isolated structure. The maximum inter story shear ratio was 0.34, and the maximum floor shear force in the Y direction was only about 25 % of that of the non-isolated structure. The maximum inter story shear ratio was 0.31. The average maximum overturning moment of the upper structure in the X direction after isolation is about 30 % of that of the non-isolated structure. The maximum overturning moment ratio is 0.36, and the average overturning moment of the maximum floor in the Y direction is about 22 % of that of the non-isolated structure. The maximum overturning moment ratio is 0.26. Under rare earthquake action, the maximum inter story displacement angles in the X and Y directions of each floor of the seismic isolation structure are 1/302 and 1/446, respectively. The maximum surface pressure value of the isolation bearing under rare earthquake is 28.9 MPa, the minimum surface pressure value is 5.58 MPa, and the maximum displacement is 579 mm, which meets the requirements of the specifications. With the dynamic and steady development of the global economic situation, complex large-scale construction projects are continuously growing both at home and abroad. This paper proposes the use of the K-means clustering algorithm to carry out early-warning interval nodes for cost deviation in the operation and maintenance phases of construction projects. In order to address the discontinuity problem of sample data while preserving the original clustering principle, the boundary mean operator is employed to improve the traditional K-means algorithm. Furthermore, the similar project cost is subjected to non-linear fitting using the traditional BP neural network, and the genetic algorithm is utilized to predict the initial weight and threshold of the neural network, thereby enhancing the model's computational performance. The results demonstrate that employing artificial intelligence algorithms and data mining technology can reduce the subjectivity of operation and maintenance managers compared to traditional experience-based early warning. This research on the warning and forecasting model of cost deviation is both innovative and forward-looking, thus making a significant contribution to enriching the theory and methodology of project management and project practice. © 2023 ACM.

Explicit association semantics across federated BIM models facilitate the interoperability between design systems and open opportunities for intelligent applications. However, the automated inference and generation of such semantics remains a key challenge. Graph representations of BIM models have shown potential in supporting semantic enrichment and conveying formal building semantics across domains. In this paper, we present our implementation of a semantically-enriched Common Data Environment – the Graph-based Core-extension Data Framework – composed of a semantic graph layer and an object geometry extension layer, hosting the heterogeneous information from BIM models. A novel rule-based inferencing approach, the TIOC algorithm, was implemented on the federated building representations to infer and establish inter-domain topological and correspondence relationships, interconnecting disjoint domain specific graphs with meaningful formal semantics. This study is the first known attempt to implement a semantic enrichment algorithm for implicit object associations in the context of multidisciplinary models. © 2023 the Author(s).

In the non-conventional media like underwater and underground,the Radio Frequency(RF)communication technique does not perform well due to large antenna size requirement and high path *** such media,magnetic induction(MI)communication technique is very promising due to small coil size and constant channel *** the RF technique,the communication range in MI technique is relatively *** enhance this range,a waveguide technique is already brought in *** technique employs single layer coils to enhance the performance of MI *** further enhance the system functioning,in this paper,we investigated the performance of multi-layer coil(MLC)antenna based MI waveguide communication system in terms of transmission range,path loss,bit error rate(BER)and ***,the system performance is quantitatively evaluated in three different non-conventional media viz.,dry soil,fresh water and wet *** compared with the single layer counterpart,the MLC system shows a significant improvement in transmission range,BER even in loosely coupled scenarios and shows a corresponding reduction in path ***,the bandwidth is observed to be low(<1 KHz).In this analysis,the eddy current effects and parasitic capacitance are compared for single and multilayer *** is observed that the proposed system performs better in dry soil medium due to less medium conductivity.

construction workers frequently engage in manual operations at workplaces, increasing their ergonomic risks of developing Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs). To proactively assess and prevent such risks, ergonomic scales have been widely employed, incorporated cutting-edge technologies to achieve advancements in automation. However, these scales have demonstrated limited accuracy in risk identification, mainly attributed to unreliable joint-level assessment rules based on discrete boundaries and binary rules. Although previous attempts have incorporated fuzzy logic to improve accuracy, the involved subjective determination of function shapes and threshold settings remains a persistent hindrance. To address this limitation, the present study aims to develop data-driven joint-level scoring models for replacing these conventional rules. This process leverages pose data from the construction Motion Data Library (CML) dataset and employs a robust and heuristic data-driven approach named Heuristics Gaussian Cloud Transformation (H-GCT). The results, with all Confusion degrees below the threshold value of 0.64, demonstrate the significant independence of the developed scoring models, ensuring accurate identification of ergonomic risk. Furthermore, a comparison is conducted with previous studies that employed fuzzy logic to improve REBA. This process highlights the superiority of the data-driven H-GCT in developing scoring models. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing joint-level scoring models to improve the applicability of ergonomic assessment in construction. Future studies can further enhance this work by expanding pose data, enriching assessment modules, and refining the data-driven approach. © 2024 ISARC. All Rights Reserved.
