The study contributes to main conditions for ensuring the quality of construction production processes and products. The object of study is a maximum possible level of compliance of a human operator and the mobile environment of a technical vehicle cabin. The functional operator's condition is evaluated in accordance with his personal adaptive physiological and psychological norm. The mobile environment of the technical vehicle cabin is evaluated by the parameters specified in the Directive official regulations. The task of the study was to develop a method of the real functional operator's condition assessing in the course of his work in the mobile environment of the cabin of a vehicle. The method used in the study was a composite infographic parameter modeling of the 'man - technics - environment' system. Infographic modeling as a promising tool for research and comprehensive assessment of the mobile environment influence on the functional operator's condition. The conclusions of the study have shown that the 'star' multilayer infographic model gives good results in the complex evaluation of the functional state of the operator. As a tool for the development and application of such models, it is advisable to use the language R. The study has shown that the interaction of a human and the vehicle cabin mobile environment during construction works is ought to be considered not only as a socio-technical, but also as a cyber-physical system.

With the acceleration of urbanization, the urban water environment problem has become increasingly severe. The combined sewer overflow(CSO) pollution control has become the focus and problem which urgently needed to be solved in China's sponge city construction and black smelly water treatment. Simulating and calculating the annual pollution load of the CSO is of great significance for the quantitative analysis of the cause of the water environment pollution. In this paper, the improved SWMM model coupled with the module for scouring the silting on the bottom of the pipes was used to simulate the combined sewer system with a drainage area of 1666ha. The results show that under the same drainage area, the larger the interception ratio is, the smaller the annual pollution load of CSO is; under the same interception ratio, the larger the drainage area is, the smaller the annual pollution load of CSO is. For the combined sewer system in Wuhan, the annual COD, TN and TP load of CSO can be calculated by three formulas: WcoD=378.58-33.71lnF, W TN =51.032-5.7871/lnF and WTP =13.667F-0.404, respectively when the interception ratio is equal to 1.0.

For solving the difficult problem of leakage detection and diagnosis in pipeline, a method with random forest fusion and independent component analysis was proposed. Firstly, the theoretical background of random forest and independent component analysis was introduced. The ICA was used to reducing noise of the negative pressure wave signal and the flow signal. Then the RF fusion model was set up. The random forest data mining method is used to determine the characteristic parameters as the input parameters of random forest fusion to classify the working conditions of the pipeline network. The experimental results show that this fusion method can improve the accuracy and effectiveness of pipeline leakage diagnosis.

The study contributes to a concept of 'an intellectual building' which is a common term in the construction and reconstruction of housing and social purpuse nowadays. The object of study is value oppositions which have been revealed during investigations of collaboration process in construction activities. The task of the study was to describe four main values of the opposition (dichotomy of values of activity), regarding the intelligent building modeling with the notice of its efficiency and reliability in two modes of implementation of activities in intelligent building – operation and development. An analysis of functioning when collaborating in the community of full participant in construction activities has been used as a method in the study. Conclusions of the study show that all the considered value oppositions are aimed at improving the quality of functioning, development and change of activity. The set of criteria for the activity quality, in general case, can be divided into three groups of suitability, optimality and superiority. At the same time, 'an intellectual building' is proposed to be considered not only as a socio-technical, but also as a cyber-physiological system in the process of its infographic modeling.

The purpose of this paper is to critically assess several computer tools for calculating properties of bridge girders. The basic ides of each tool are briefly summarized and the advantages and disadvantages of each tool are pointed out. Several benchmark examples, including open sections, such as "π" beams, and closed sections, such as box-beams are used to evaluate the performance of different tools. Very different predictions have been found for different tools. Such a systematic and critical assessment should provide some guidance for engineering to choose the right tool to effectively design and analyze cross section of girder with confidence.

The engineeringtechnology of deep foundation pit support is complex and comprehensive, and it is necessary to consider the relationship between safety and engineering cost, and the optimal design of foundation pit support is especially important. Anchor support is a common support way for deep foundation pit support, in allusion to the shortcomings of particle swarm optimization; this paper adopts genetic algorithm, step length acceleration method and improved particle swarm optimization to carry out optimal design for foundation pit anchor support. The optimization results show that the combination with genetic algorithm improves the diversity of particle populations, the particle swarm optimization combined with the step length acceleration method has faster convergence performance, and the mathematical model of anchor supporting structure design is established. Through the case study of the foundation pit support of the super-high-rise building with frame shear wall structure, it was found that the engineering cost of the improved anchor support scheme after the improved particle swarm optimization is lower. The research in this paper provides a mathematical model for foundation anchor support.

With the architectural environment is constantly changing such as high-rise buildings, high-ceilinged space, and special space constantly constructed, thus the fire disasters are becoming diverse and difficult to predict. Therefore, the development and application of building's fire disaster prevention integration system become an urgent requirement for prevention the disaster and reach all protection of life and property. The response system and organization of fire prevention and disaster relief currently in Taiwan, the planning of evacuation and rescue guidance main depends on human judgment to obtain disaster information. This method may easily either cause error conduction associated with information transfer or can't rescue immediately due to the human negligence or human limitations. Furthermore, wireless sensor networks have been widely discussed in many domains of building disaster-prevention management. This study will focus on fire disaster and combine the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to construct a BIM-based building fire prevention and disaster relief system, with integration of fire prevention equipment information, bluetooth sensor technology, and route optimization information of evacuation and rescue. In order to create intelligent fire disaster prevention system frame, which applied the BIM model shows the research results of three-dimension (3D) visualization. Under the fire incidents created by information integration platform, it can provide early detection and accurate alarm ability, endangered people can have correct and rapid guide the evacuation, fire-fighters can obtain the correct information and assist the right guidance of the rescue routes, as a result, reached the purposes of safety and disaster reduction.

This paper presents an experimental study on the behaviour of a composite floor system with end-plate connections under a peripheral column removal scenario. The floor system comprised bridging beams, peripheral supporting columns and concrete floor with profile decking. In the specimen design, end-plate connections were used for the primary beam-column joints, and bolted web connections were adopted for beam-beam joints. Due to the constraints in structural laboratory, the two-bay by one-bay floor was scaled down to a 1/3 scaled model. A special loading scheme was designed so that displacement-controlled six-point loads were applied to the floor in order to represent uniformly distributed loads on the floor. Test results showed that the floor system could develop tensile membrane action to prevent progressive collapse. However, with increasing vertical displacement, the endplate at the beam-column joints fractured and the concrete in the composite floor was crushed. In the end, conclusions were drawn to shed light on the design of composite floor systems against progressive collapse.

The article presents the methodology of analysing and evaluating the accident rate in the construction industry, which consists of five stages: the identification of sources of data on accidents at work and the acquisition of research material, the classification of research material, the formulation of a computer knowledge base, the creation of a model which simulates the course of the complex process of an accident and also the execution of calculations and analysis of obtained results. An example of analysis of an accident process with 130 accidents at work was also provided.
