With the development of the metaverse industry and the expansion of the 3D content market required to build the metaverse ecosystem, artificial intelligence technology that can create usable 3D content is developing. On the other hand, there is currently no legal definition of copyright for 3D content created based on artificial intelligence, and the scope of copyright application is ambiguous. In the current situation where copyright disputes and infringements on 3D contents are expected, this paper proposes a Deep Neural Network (DNN) forensic watermarking-based illegal 3D content distribution tracking system to protect illegal copying and distribution of 3D content. In this paper, we present our design result for the illegal 3D content distribution tracking system with detailed architecture, components, and message flows.

A significant increase in ageing population is seen in past ten years. Recent advances in wireless sensor networks and wireless body area networks have paved the way for remote health monitoring. With remote health monitoring devices, patients and caretakers are enabled to keep track of patient's health status each second and provide immediate treatment to the patient in case of any emergency. Reliability of such devices is a big concern as any delay or drop of biometric data transmission can put patient's life at risk. In this paper, we propose a load control scheme to provide reliable communications for emergency data. Thanks to reserved capacities for emergency data in the proposal, the packet dropping probability for emergency data is much lower than the no load control scheme.

User-Centric work Space (UCS) service enables a personalized (user-centric) work space for a user by orchestrating local and/or remote IT resources. Instances of IT resources include file, printer, monitor, keyboards. With UCS service, a user can have his personalized and secure work environment at anywhere and anytime by storing and processing his data in secure manner without any interference from the external environment; a user with a smart device easily can configure smart work environment. This paper gives overview of UCS service followed by its use cases and its implementation efforts.

Multi-user spatial sensing diversity exploration through cooperation spectrum sensing greatly improves sensing performance. However, high communication overhead and energy costs for exchanging sensing results may limit its viability in a realistic large scale resource constraint network such as cognitive radio wireless sensor networks. This paper presents a Weighted Hard Combination (WHC) scheme that combines features of both quantized and hard combining schemes to minimize energy cost for reporting sensing result and improve primary user detection performance in cooperative sensing. We evaluate the effectiveness of the scheme through simulation. Performance comparison of the WHC scheme in terms of detection performance, reporting energy cost and reporting time ratio with conventional hard combination, soft combination and quantized schemes indicates viability of the scheme. The results indicate that the WHC scheme minimizes reporting energy cost by 70% and improves detection performance by 5.6% compared to the quantized 3-bits scheme.

Cognitive radio network (CRN) has emerged as a promising solution to solve the problem of underutilization of licensed spectrum. It allows opportunistic access of unutilized spectrum (or white spaces) by unlicensed users (or secondary users, SUs) whilst minimizing interference to licensed users (or primary users, PUs). The dynamicity of channel availability has imposed additional challenges for routing in CRNs. Besides providing optimal routes to SUs for communication, one of the key requirements of routing in CRNs is to minimize interference to PUs. In this paper, we propose a joint channel selection and cluster-based routing scheme called SMART (SpectruM-Aware cluster-based RouTing) for CRNs. SMART enables SUs to form clusters in the network, and subsequently, it enables SU source node to search for a route to its destination node in the underlying clustered network. SMART applies an artificial intelligence approach called reinforcement learning in order to maximize network performance, such as SU-PU interference and packet delivery ratio. Simulation results show that SMART reduces significant interference to PUs without significance degradation of packet delivery ratio when compared to clustered scheme without cluster maintenance (i.e., SMART-NO-MNT) and non-clustered scheme (i.e., spectrum-aware AODV or SA-AODV).

Fractional Frequency Reuse (FFR) is a simple and efficient method to suppress inter-cell interference (ICI) in multi-cell OFDMA networks. Base station cooperation, or a coordinated multipoint (CoMP) multiple access strategy in the FFR cell-edge, will further improve the performance of the systems. This paper presents analytical performance analysis for the downlink FFR scheme in a cluster of three or seven cells with CoMP over generalized composite fading consisting of Nakagami-m fading, path-loss and log-normal shadowing. Our analysis include the effect of full and partial loading of inter-group interference (IGI) on the capacity of the cellular system. We demonstrate that by reducing the number of participating CoMP base stations in cooperating cluster, the IGI is reduced, maximizing the capacity of the system. Our framework able to compute the spectral efficiency via a single numerical integral and is applicable to arbitrary fading distribution. Numerical and simulation results are provided.

Cooperative relay has been an interesting research area for the past years as it promotes higher data rates and robust to wireless environment. IEEE Work Group initiated the use of relay stations in the IEEE 802.16e standard and it is called IEEE 802.16j. This paper proposed a multi-hop cooperative relay system with space-time codes (STC), with the integration of relay selection. In changing environment, data transmission signals through wireless channels can be degraded by factors like shadowing, fading etc. Cooperative relay system is believed to offer robustness by multipath routes to destination. The cooperative relay system in this work adopted the virtual MIMO (multiple input multiple output) concept. Analysis of performances are made between topologies of space-time cooperative relay systems and compared with cooperative relay transmission. © 2011 IEEE.

Vehicular networks are highly mobile wireless networks that can provide wide variety of services and applications such as public safety communications, crash avoidance, multimedia and Internet access in highways. Designing routing algorithm in vehicular network is a challenging task due to rapidly changing topology and high speed mobility of vehicles. One of the critical issues of vehicular network is frequent path disruptions caused by high speed mobility that leads to broken links which results in low throughput. This poses complex challenge in ensuring quality of service (QoS). A lot of research around the world is being conducted to define the standards for vehicular communication. In this paper, we study the effect of different duration of transmitting packet and compare different packet size on sending and received packet rate in IEEE 802.16j MMR networks using NCTUns. Meanwhile, cross-layer routing approach is proposed to overcome the challenge. The routing approach is expected to significantly improve QoS in vehicular networks. © 2011 IEEE.

A multistreamed web transport has the potential to reduce head-of-line (HOL) blocking, and improve response times in high latency Internet browsing environments, typical of developing regions. In our position paper [13], we proposed a design for HTTP over the multistreamed Stream Control Transmission protocol (SCTP), and implemented the design for non-pipelined (HTTP 1.0) transactions in the Apache web server and Firefox web browser. We have since adapted Apache and Firefox to handle HTTP 1.1 persistent, pipelined transfers over SCTP streams. Initial emulation results over high latency paths reveal that HTTP over SCTP streams benefits from faster page downloads, and achieves visually perceivable improvements to pipelined objects' response times. Movies comparing page downloads of HTTP/TCP vs. HTTP/SCTP streams can be found on the author's website [12]. The promising results have motivated us to propose a low cost, easily realizable, gateway-based HTTP over SCTP deployment solution to enhance users' browsing experience in developing regions.
