Disparity estimation is an important technique in stereo video coding. This paper presents a disparity estimation algorithm based on edge detection. The algorithm makes full use of the human visual characteristics, that is, the human eye is more sensitive to the distortion of the edge region. Therefore, joint estimation is used for edge detection. The large code block size for coding the background region and the flat areas while small size for coding the edge region were used in this paper. Compared to the disparity estimation algorithm proposed in, the proposed algorithm can greatly improve the encoding speed of stereo video without affecting subjective image quality.

With the increasing degree of informatization and intelligence in modern society, human-computer interaction technology has become one of the commonly used scientific and technological achievements. "Gesture" can be used as inputing image information, and make more intuitive and convenient for perception of user interface. To a certain extent, it can complete the intelligent interaction function between human and computer. The design is a human-computer intelligent interaction system for 3D gesture recognition and motion tracking based on gesture sensor PAJ7620. STM32 chip is used as the main control unit to recognize accurately, analyze and process different gestures collected by the gesture sensor, and control the OLED screen to display the gesture information. It can further drive the carrier to take corresponding actions and realize the intelligent human-computer interaction recognition of gestures. The experimental test results show that the recognition rate is lose to 100% when the distance is within 10cm. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

3D object detection is an essential perception task in autonomous driving to understand the environments. The Bird's-Eye-View (BEV) representations have significantly improved the performance of 3D detectors with camera inputs on popular benchmarks. However, there still lacks a systematic understanding of the robustness of these vision-dependent BEV models, which is closely related to the safety of autonomous driving systems. In this paper, we evaluate the natural and adversarial robustness of various representative models under extensive settings, to fully understand their behaviors influenced by explicit BEV features compared with those without BEV. In addition to the classic settings, we propose a 3D consistent patch attack by applying adversarial patches in the 3D space to guarantee the spatiotemporal consistency, which is more realistic for the scenario of autonomous driving. With substantial experiments, we draw several findings: 1) BEV models tend to be more stable than previous methods under different natural conditions and common corruptions due to the expressive spatial representations;2) BEV models are more vulnerable to adversarial noises, mainly caused by the redundant BEV features;3) Camera-LiDARfusion models have superior performance under different settings with multi-modal inputs, but BEV fusion model is still vulnerable to adversarial noises of both point cloud and image. These findings alert the safety issue in the applications of BEV detectors and could facilitate the development of more robust models. © 2023 IEEE.

The research is mainly designed for the current people’s demand for electronic code locks. Its main functions include code unlocking, IC card unlocking, remote mobile phone monitoring, random password unlocking etc. The main control chip of the intelligent electronic code lock adopts STM32 single-chip microcomputer. It uses the H35B-UC LCD touch screen to display the main interface of the system. It uses the RC522 radio frequency card module to read and write the IC and realizes the function of opening the door of the IC card. Moreover, it is connected to the Internet through the ESP8266 WIFI module, which can realize the remote control of the smart electronic code lock. The button module does not use external independent buttons, but through the H35B-UC LCD touch screen to achieve digital password input. Niobium telluride(NbTe_(2)),a kind of few-layer two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)material,has been theoretically predicted with nonlinear absorption properties and excellent optical ***,we experimentally demonstrated an Er-doped fiber(EDF)laser based NbTe_(2)as saturable absorber(SA).Few-layer NbTe_(2)nanosheets were successfully prepared by adopting the commonly used liquid-phase exfoliation(LPE)*** nonlinear optical response of highly stable few-layer NbTe_(2)was investigated through an open-aperture Z-scan laser measurement,the nonlinear absorption coefficient was 2.45×10^(-11)m/*** Q-switched and mode-locked operation centered at 1559 nm were recorded based on NbTe_(2)*** pulse duration was varied from 4.88 ms to 1.75 ms,and the adjustable range of repetition frequency is changed from 44.01 kHz to 64.12 kHz in passively Q-switched ***,a constant repetition rate of 5.33 MHz and pulse width of 2.67 ps were observed in mode-locked *** experimental results fully reveal the nonlinear optical prop-erties of NbTe_(2)used in pulsed fiber lasers and broaden its ultrafast applications in the optics field.

This article focuses on the study of multi-resolution feature fusion methods for human pose estimation. Most of the existing pose estimation methods are based on high-resolution gradually reducing the resolution to learn advanced semantic features, and then gradually recovering high-resolution features from the low-resolution semantic features to locate keypoints of the person instance. The process without fusion of rich features will inevitably lose more spatial and semantic information. The purpose of the multi-resolution feature fusion method proposed in this paper is to fuse spatial and semantic information on multiple scale feature maps, in addition, our network use the multi-receptive field fusion module on the same scale features to enhance feature extraction. Our methods can utilize more feature information to accurately locate keypoints.

In this paper, the issue of carrier frequency offset compensation in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) uplink system is investigated. To mitigate the effect of the multiple access interference (MAI) caused by the carrier frequency offset (CFO) of different users, a new iterative compensation algorithm is proposed. However, this scheme has unaffordable complexity. To tackle this problem, an efficient iterative implementation is developed in this paper based on a banded interference matrix approximation. Simulations illustrate that the proposed algorithm obtains good performance, at the same time has much lower computational complexity.

Purpose: Many patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) had hepatic anatomy variations as a result of inter-fraction deformation during fractionated radiotherapy, which may result in difference from the planned dose. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between adjusted dose and radiation induced liver disease (RILD) in HCC patients receiving three dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT). Methods: Twenty-three HCC patients received conventional fractionated 3DCRT were enrolled in this retrospective investigation. Among them, seven patients had been diagnosed of RILD post-radiotherapy, including 4 cases of grade 2, 3 cases of grade 3 according to the CTCAE Version 3.0. Daily cone-beam CT (CBCT) scans were acquired throughout the whole treatment course for each patient. To reconstruct the daily dose to a patient considering the interfraction anatomy variations, the planned beams from each patient's treatment plan were firstly applied to each daily modified CBCT (mCBCT). The daily doses were then summed together with the help of deformable image registration (DIR) to obtain the adjusted dose (Dadjusted) of the patient. Finally, the dose changes in normal liver between planned dose (Dplan) and Dadjusted were evaluated by V20, V30, V40 and the mean dose to normal liver (MDTNL). Univariate analysis was performed to identify the significant dose changes. Results: Among the twenty-three patients, the adjusted liver V20, V30, V40 and MDTNL showed significant changes from the planned ones (p<0.05) and averagely increased by 4.1%, 4.7%, 4.5% and 3.9Gy, respectively. And the adjusted liver dose in twenty-one patients (91%) were higher than planned value, the adjusted dose of patients with RILD (6/7) exceeds to the hepatic radiation tolerance. Conclusion: The adjusted dose of all the studied patients significantly differs from planned dose, and mCBCT-based dose reconstruction can aid in evaluating the robustness of the planning solutions, and adjusted dose has

Fre-Yolo: Feature Refinement Extraction Network with Yolo for Blade Tip Small Point Light Detection

Detecting blade tip point light sources based on airborne computer vision is a critical step in measuring blade tip distance for coaxial unmanned helicopters. However, detecting blade tip point light sources quickly and highly accurately in a helicopter airborne environment is a challenge due to the extremely tiny imaging size of the blade tip point light sources. To this end, we propose a FRE-YOLO for detecting blade tip point light sources based on the YOLO network structure. In this work, we focus on designing a Feature Refinement Extraction network (FRE), which can greatly enrich the feature information of small targets during Backbone downsampling. Secondly, we also design a new paradigm Smooth Gaussian Distance (SmoothGD) which measures the degree of target bounding box matching. SmoothGD is mainly applied to regression loss calculation and label assigner, which can effectively improve the small target detection accuracy. Meanwhile, we construct the Blade Tip Point Light (BTPL) dataset for the network training. In addition, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method more fairly, this paper conducts the same experiments on BTPL and the small target dataset VisDrone on MMYOLO. A large amount of experimental data shows that the proposed method has a positive impact on the detection of tiny point sources at the tip of the blade. It is well-known that the auxiliary information plays a key role in zero-shot classification. However, most of the existing popular methods do not make effective use of auxiliary information. To address this issue, we propose an improved embedding model for zero-shot classification based on attention mechanism, called EMAM. In the proposed EMAM, we first add an attention mechanism to effectively extract the key information of auxiliary information in zero-shot classification. Then optimizes the objective function to improve the recognition rate of this model. Finally the experimental comparison is implemented on the standard zero-shot learning datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed EMAM not only verifies its validity, but also achieves good results.
