An improved algorithm of pattern matching for information security audit system

At present, network information audit system is almost based on text information filtering. Text categorization is the basic technology of text information filtering. Pattern matching algorithms are very important for the rule based information audit system. It directly influences the accuracy and real-time performance of the system. The KMP and BM algorithms are introduced in this paper. Research is carried out to improve the BM algorithm and a better BM algorithm is proposed According to the situation that the system characters group is bigger and that characters of the pat tern are less, the thesis puts forward an improved string-matching algorithm. The results of our experiments prove that it promotes the precision of text categorization. © 2008 Binary information Press.

This paper presents a load balancing method for a multi-block grids-based CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) application on heterogeneous platform. This method includes an asymmetric task scheduling scheme and a load balancing model. The idea is to balance the computing speed between the CPU and the coprocessor by adjusting the workload and the numbers of threads on both sides. Optimal load balance parameters are empirically selected, guided by a performance model. Performance evaluation is conducted on a computer server consists of two Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 CPUs and two MIC coprocessors (Xeon Phi 5110P and Xeon Phi 7120P) for the simulation of turbulent combustion in a supersonic combustor. The results show that the performance is highly sensitive to the load balance parameters. With the optimal parameters, the heterogeneous computing achieves a maximum speedup of 2.30 × for a 6-block mesh, and a maximum speedup of 2.66 × for a 8-block mesh, over the CPU-only computing.

In this paper we introduce text categorization methods to address the classification problem of literature containing Quantitative Trait Locus, QTL information. Our work focused on building an automatic categorization system targeting the QTL information of various species based on Support Vector Machines, SVM. A text representation strategy is proposed combining words and phrases that effectively improve the classification accuracy. Through studying literature containing QTL information and other species-related publications, we determined representative phrases and detected abbreviations in order to form another set of features. Together with the words selected by Chi value, the two sets of features were both used to represent text samples. We employed a portion of particular species’ QTL-related literature data to conduct an experiment regarding the system’s construction, and then tested our system using the data of multiple plants and species. The experiment results indicate that our work may help further research on constructing QTL information databases. © 2016, UK Simulation Society. All rights reserved.

Orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) system transmits information in the delay-Doppler domain, and it adapts well to high-speed mobile environments and can realize channel estimation with less overhead. Channel estimation in the OTFS system is necessary for subsequent channel equalization and information recovery process, aiming to eliminate the effects, such as inter-symbol interference (ISI) and noise influence. The paper proposes an effective channel estimation for the OTFS system using deep neural network (DNN) and the least square (LS) algorithm, considering the accurate and low latency channel estimation requirement in the Internet of Vehicles, where LS algorithm is first used to perform a rough time-frequency domain channel estimation, and then the DNN model is taken to optimize the rough channel estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves more accurate channel estimation performance with low complexity and better flexibility, compared with the typical LS and linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) scheme.

With the deeply research on intrusion detection techniques and the widely use of intrusion detection products, the study of evaluation techniques of intrusion detection systems became important. In the paper, relative works of the evaluation of intrusion detection systems was introduced. The primary aspects of intrusion detection systems in an evaluation were discussed. An evaluation system for intrusion detection systems was proposed. In the system, a supervisor module controls the whole system. The supervisor module schedules the traffic control module and the attack emulation module. The data in the evaluation environment are recorded and input to the evaluation module. The functions such as emulation of network traffic and host usage, emulation of attacks and evaluation report generation are implemented.

Strategy of sensor nodes deployment is directly related to the cost and performance for underwater wireless sensor networks, which is largely determined the various service-quality improvement of wireless sensor networks. In order to improve the coverage of the target area, this paper presents a distributed algorithm of coverage control. Assume that nodes initially deployed on the surface of the water and can only move in vertical direction in 3-D space, the algorithm is first to control the nodes in-depth and relocate the nodes at different depths, then the nodes continue to adjust their depths until there is no augment for improving their coverage, and to achieve efficient coverage of the three-dimensional sensor networks ultimately. Experimental results show that compared with traditional random deployment method, the proposed coverage control algorithm can improve coverage of network effectively.

This paper describes a new method for how interfering MIMO links might transmit more effectively in a random access network. We assume perfect transmitter-side channel state information, zero-forcing pre-coding to guarantee no interference on links that have already won access, and zero-forcing receiver processing at the still-contending links to suppress interference from the links that have already won. We define an effectiveness metric, the Instantaneous Equivalent SNR Percentile (IESP), in which the Equivalent SNR is the SNR of a single-input-single-output (SISO) link that would have the same capacity of a MIMO link after its interference constraints have been met and the IESP is the percentile of the Equivalent SNR, assuming independent Rayleigh fading. We propose that fairness among heterogeneous contending links be realized by giving the shorter contention window to the link with the higher IESP based on its own distribution, enabling links with few antennas to compete with links that have many antennas. Through simulation of the sum capacity of the winning set of links, the proposed contention window design is shown to provide a higher sum capacity than contention based on equal-sized windows.

Collab.rative Metric Learning (CML) has recently emerged as a popular method in recommendation systems (RS), closing the gap between metric learning and Collab.rative Filtering. Following the convention of RS, existing methods exploit unique user representation in their model design. This paper focuses on a challenging scenario where a user has multiple categories of interests. Under this setting, we argue that the unique user representation might induce preference bias, especially when the item category distribution is imbalanced. To address this issue, we propose a novel method called Diversity-Promoting Collab.rative Metric Learning (DPCML), with the hope of considering the commonly ignored minority interest of the user. The key idea behind DPCML is to include a multiple set of representations for each user in the system. Based on this embedding paradigm, user preference toward an item is aggregated from different embeddings by taking the minimum item-user distance among the user embedding set. Furthermore, we observe that the diversity of the embeddings for the same user also plays an essential role in the model. To this end, we propose a Diversity Control Regularization Scheme (DCRS) to accommodate the multi-vector representation strategy better. Theoretically, we show that DPCML could generalize well to unseen test data by tackling the challenge of the annoying operation that comes from the minimum value. Experiments over a range of benchmark datasets speak to the efficacy of DPCML.

Part-based visual tracking via structural support correlation filter

Recently, part-based and support vector machines (SVM) based trackers have shown favorable performance. Nonetheless, the time-consuming online training and updating process limit their real-time applications. In order to better deal with the partial occlusion issue and improve their efficiency, we propose a novel part-based structural support correlation filter tracking method, which absorbs the strong discriminative ability from SVM and the excellent property of part-based tracking methods which is less sensitive to partial occlusion. Then, our proposed model can learn the support correlation filter of each part jointly by a star structure model, which preserves the spatial layout structure among parts and tolerates outliers of parts. In addition, to mitigate the issue of drift away from object further, we introduce inter-frame consistencies of local parts into our model. Finally, in our model, we accurately estimate the scale changes of object by the relative distance change among reliable parts. The extensive empirical evaluations on three benchmark datasets: OTB2015, TempleColor128 and VOT2015 demonstrate that the proposed method performs superiorly against several state-of-the-art trackers in terms of tracking accuracy, speed and robustness. To analyze routing protocol in cognitive radio(CR) networks effectively, a dynamic routing model is necessary. Dynamic layered graphic(DG) was proposed aiming at the characteristic of dynamic spectrum access in CR networks. In DG model, nodes were split into many sub-nodes, and each sub-node state could denote whether the related channel was availab.e or *** DG model, sub-node state was taken as a stochastic process and the model of cognitive radio network's dynamic topology was set up by analyzing the dynamic characteristic of sub-node state. Simulation results show that in the aspect of the adaptability to CR network's variable SOP and depiction of the topology, the DG model outperforms the layered graph(LG) model, and can adapt well to CR networks environment.
