For a long time, people have believed that representation problems are one of the bottlenecks in the field of machine learning. Therefore, it is a long-term and exploratory work to study machine learning representation methods. Due to this, we use category theory to study the fusion representation of data dimensionality reduction. We propose the basic concept of category representation for data dimensionality reduction and provide a data dimensionality reduction fusion representation framework. We have conducted research and analysis on algorithms such as PCA, KPCA, and LDA, identified the essential connection between PCA, KPCA, and LDA and proposed a data dimensionality reduction fusion representation algorithm based on a data dimensionality reduction fusion representation framework. Finally, we demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed method through experiments. © 2025 SPIE.

Structure-to-word dynamic interaction model for abstractive sentence summarization

Abstractive text summarization aims to capture important information from text and integrate contextual information to guide the summary generation. However, effective integration of important and relevant information remains a challenging problem. Existing graph-based methods only consider either word relations or structure information, but neglect the correlation between them. To simultaneously capture the word relations and structure information from sentences, we propose a novel Structure-to-Word dynamic interaction model for Abstractive Sentence Summarization (SWSum). Specifically, we first represent structure and word relation information of sentences by constructing semantic scenario graph and semantic word relation graph based on FrameNet. We subsequently stack multiple graph-based dynamic interaction layers that iteratively enhance their correlation to learn node representations. Finally, a graph fusion module is designed to obtain better overall graph representations, which provide an attention-based context vector for the decoder to generate summary. Experimental results demonstrate our model outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods on two popular benchmark datasets, i.e., Gigaword and DUC 2004. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2025.

JDC-GCN: joint diversity and consistency graph convolutional network

In real-world scenarios, multi-view data comprises heterogeneous features, with each feature corresponding to a specific view. The objective of multi-view semi-supervised classification is to enhance classification performance by leveraging the inherent complementary and consistent information present within diverse views. Nevertheless, many existing frameworks primarily focus on assigning suitable weights to different views while neglecting the importance of consistent information. In this paper, a multi-view semi-supervised classification framework called joint diversity and consistency graph convolutional network (JDC-GCN) is proposed. Firstly, the structure of graph convolutional network is introduced to the multi-view semi-supervised classification, capable of propagating the label information over the topological structure of multi-view data. Secondly, the proposed JDC-GCN captures the complementary and consistent information from multiple views through two indispensable sub-modules, Diversity-GCN and Consistency-GCN, respectively. Finally, the attention mechanism is leveraged to dynamically adjust the weights of various views, allowing us to measure the significance of heterogeneous features and the consistent graph without introducing additional parameters. Comprehensive experiments on eight multi-view datasets are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the JDC-GCN algorithm. Fake Face Detection Based on Fusion of Spatial Texture and High-Frequency Noise

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

Joint relation extraction models effectively mitigate the error propagation problem inherently present in pipeline models. Nevertheless, joint models face challenges including high computational complexity, complex network architectures, difficult parameter tuning, and notably, limited interpretability. In contrast, recent advances in pipeline relation extraction models (PURE, PL-Marker) have attracted considerable attention due to their lightweight design and high extraction accuracy. A key advancement is the introduction of a marker mechanism, which enhances relation extraction (RE) process by highlighting entities. However, these models primarily focus on generating correct labels. In doing so, they neglect the label selection process. Moreover, they fail to adequately capture the intricate interactions between entity pairs. To overcome these limitations, we develop a Candidate Label Markers (CLMs) mechanism that prioritizes strategic label selection over simple label generation. Furthermore, we facilitate interactions among diverse relation pairs, enabling the identification of more intricate relational patterns. Experimental results show that we achieve a new SOTA performance. Specifically, based on the same Named Entity Recognition (NER) results as theirs, we improve the SOTA methods by 2.5%, 1.9%, 1.3% in terms of strict F1 scores on SciERC, ACE05 and ACE04. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Multiple Edge Data Integrity Verification with Multi-Vendors and Multi-Servers in Mobile Edge Computing

Ensuring Edge Data Integrity (EDI) is imperative in providing reliable and low-latency services in mobile edge computing. Existing EDI schemes typically address single-vendor (App Vendor, AV) single-server (Edge Server, ES), single-vendor multi-server, and multi-vendor multi-server scenarios, which consider a single data replica cached by an ES from the AVs. However, the most practical scenario of Multi-Vendors and Multi-Servers with Multiple Data (MVMS-MD) cached by an ES from different AVs remains unexplored. Current solutions struggle when applied to this scenario due to increased computation and communication costs in the verification process across all ESs using the classical challenge-response per-data multi-round strategy. To tackle this issue, we propose a Multiple EDI-Verification (MEDI-V) approach in this paper. In particular, our MEDI-V utilizes an adaptive Merkle Hash Tree (ad-MHT) to efficiently generate a tree of multiple data replicas within each AV. Next, the dynamic mechanism computes minimal verification information using ad-MHT to create a challenge for individual ESs to produce EDI proofs. The ES then leverages its ad-MHT and the ES’s proof to send the reconstructed ad-MHT root to the AV for verification. Theoretical insights into MEDI-V’s correctness, efficiency, security, and comprehensive evaluations demonstrate its superiority in addressing MEDI issues in the MVMS-MD scenario. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Face Forgery Detection Based on Fine-Grained Clues and Noise Inconsistency

Deepfake detection has gained increasing research attention in media forensics, and a variety of works have been produced. However, subtle artifacts might be eliminated by compression, and the convolutional neural networks (CNNs)-based detectors are invalidated for fake face images with compression. In this work, we propose a two-stream network for deepfake detection. We observed that high-frequency noise features and spatial features are inherently complementary to each other. Thus, both spatial features and high-frequency noise features are exploited for face forgery detection. Specifically, we design a double-frequency transformer module (DFTM) to guide the learning of spatial features from local artifact regions. To effectively fuse spatial features and high-frequency noise features, a dual-domain attention fusion module (DDAFM) is designed. We also introduce a local relationship constraint loss, which requires only image-level labels, for model training. We evaluate the proposed approach on five large-scale benchmark datasets, and extensive experimental results demonstrate the proposed approach outperforms most SOTA works. © 2024 IEEE.

Strong noise is one of the biggest challenges in controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) exploration, which severely affects the quality of the recorded signal. We develop a novel and effective CSEM noise attenuation method that integrates a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) with a high-quality sounding curve screening mechanism. This method first uses a DCNN to learn the large-scale noise characteristics of CSEM measured data and build a DCNN denoising model for attenuating the noise. Because some impulse noise remains after DCNN denoising, the high-quality sounding curve screening mechanism is innovatively applied to optimize the DCNN denoised data. The core of this method is the smoothness value (SV), which quantitatively evaluates the smoothness of the sounding curve (apparent resistivity curve). In effect, the mechanism segments the overall DCNN denoised data and calculates the corresponding sounding curve and its SV for each segment. The highest-quality sounding curve can be screened out by comparing the SVs of all curves as well as obtaining the highest-quality data segment present in the overall DCNN denoised data. Finally, our method is validated with synthetic and field data, demonstrating its feasibility and effectiveness in attenuating large-scale CSEM noise. The quality of CSEM data, which is heavily affected by noise, is significantly improved after processing by our method. © 2025 Society of Exploration Geophysicists. All rights reserved.

Global contextual dependency is of significance for semantic segmentation from light fields. However, previous works mostly exploit attention mechanisms to model spatial context dependency and angular context dependency separately, since a light field capture is very data-intensive. Considering that self-attention is resource-consuming, existing methods only use it to capture spatial contextual dependency for the central view of light fields, and employ resource-efficient attention mechanisms to model angular view dependencies instead. Inspired by the recent success of State Space Sequence model (SSM), we present a novel SSM-based encoder for light field semantic segmentation, which models spatio-angular contextual dependency together. The proposed method is evaluated on the existing light field semantic segmentation datasets, and experimental results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods.
