To design an efficient protocol for sharing the encrypted lock keys in the renting house system,we introduce a new notion called time-and identitybased proxy reencryption(TIPRE)and the blockchain *** CPA secure TIPRE scheme is constructed from Green et al.’s identity-based proxy reencryption scheme by adding the time *** every time period,a time stamp authority generates a public key embedded with the current time stamp for each *** our protocol for the renting house system,the TIPRE scheme is the primary building block,and the blockchain platform serves instead of a trusted third party,such as a real estate agency between landlords and *** TIPRE scheme allows the landlord to change the lock key at each time period for *** blockchain platform allows the landlords and tenants to directly interact,and all of the interactions are recorded in the blockchain database to provide the desired security requirements,such as nonrepudiation and ***,we provide the secure analysis of our protocol and test its performance by implementing it in the MacBook Pro and the Intel Edison development platforms.

Global contextual dependency is of significance for semantic segmentation from light fields. However, previous works mostly exploit attention mechanisms to model spatial context dependency and angular context dependency separately, since a light field capture is very data-intensive. Considering that self-attention is resource-consuming, existing methods only use it to capture spatial contextual dependency for the central view of light fields, and employ resource-efficient attention mechanisms to model angular view dependencies instead. Inspired by the recent success of State Space Sequence model (SSM), we present a novel SSM-based encoder for light field semantic segmentation, which models spatio-angular contextual dependency together. The proposed method is evaluated on the existing light field semantic segmentation datasets, and experimental results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods. Privacy-Preserving Electricity Theft Detection Based on Blockchain

In most electricity theft detection schemes, consumers' power consumption data is directly input into the detection center. Although it is valid in detecting the theft of consumers, the privacy of all consumers is at risk unless the detection center is assumed to be trusted. In fact, it is impractical. Moreover, existing schemes may result in some security problems, such as the collusion attack due to the presence of a trusted third party, and malicious data tampering caused by the system operator (SO) being attacked. Aiming at the problems above, we propose a blockchain-based privacy-preserving electricity theft detection scheme without a third party. Specifically, the proposed scheme uses an improved functional encryption scheme to enable electricity theft detection and load monitoring while preserving consumers' privacy;distributed storage of consumers' data with blockchain to resolve security problems such as data tampering, etc. Meanwhile, we build a long short-term memory network (LSTM) model to perform higher accuracy for electricity theft detection. The proposed scheme is evaluated in a real environment, and the results show that it is more accurate in electricity theft detection within acceptable communication and computational overhead. Our system analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme can resist various security attacks and preserve consumers' privacy. © 2010-2012 IEEE.

Simultaneous segmentation and classification of colon cancer polyp images using a dual branch multi-task learning network

Accurate classification and segmentation of polyps are two important tasks in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancers. Existing models perform segmentation and classification separately and do not fully make use of the correlation between the two tasks. Furthermore, polyps exhibit random regions and varying shapes and sizes, and they often share similar boundaries and backgrounds. However, existing models fail to consider these factors and thus are not robust because of their inherent limitations. To address these issues, we developed a multi-task network that performs both segmentation and classification simultaneously and can cope with the aforementioned factors effectively. Our proposed network possesses a dual-branch structure, comprising a transformer branch and a convolutional neural network (CNN) branch. This approach enhances local details within the global representation, improving both local feature awareness and global contextual understanding, thus contributing to the improved preservation of polyp-related information. Additionally, we have designed a feature interaction module (FIM) aimed at bridging the semantic gap between the two branches and facilitating the integration of diverse semantic information from both branches. This integration enables the full capture of global context information and local details related to polyps. To prevent the loss of edge detail information crucial for polyp identification, we have introduced a reverse attention boundary enhancement (RABE) module to gradually enhance edge structures and detailed information within polyp regions. Finally, we conducted extensive experiments on five publicly available datasets to evaluate the performance of our method in both polyp segmentation and classification tasks. The experimental results confirm that our proposed method outperforms other state-of-the-art methods. ©2024 the Author(s), licensee AIMS Press.

In order to improve the efficiency of indoor mobile robots in locating and segmenting environmental instances, an instance segmentation method based on RTMDet is proposed. Firstly, the more powerful ConvNeXt V2 is used as the backbone network of the model, which improves the performance of the existing RTMDet model. Subsequently, NAS-FPN is used as a converged network to detect the network at any given time. Finally, AdamW is used as the model optimiser, which effectively solves the problem of excessive memory occupation when updating parameters and improves the performance of the model. The proposed method obtains the highest evaluation index in all cases. After training and testing on the Cityscapes data set, the recognition accuracy reaches 65.0%. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

In the electronic industry product quality control, PCB defect detection is a crucial part, which has the characteristics of small defect size and high similarity. The existing defect detection methods are still not good enough for detecting small target defects;therefore, the algorithm in this paper proposes an improved algorithm for PCB defect detection based on the RetinaNet model. The ResNet-D residual structure and efficient channel focus module are introduced in the model backbone network to enhance its feature extraction capability and achieve the purpose of improving the detection accuracy. At the same time, the method replaces the original multi-step learning decay strategy with a cosine annealing scheduling learning strategy, which optimizes the training process of the model. Finally, the performance of the method is verified on the publicly available PCB defect dataset from the Open laboratory of Intelligent Robotics, Peking University. The experimental results show that the algorithm improves the mAP value by 3.2% compared with the original algorithm, while the fastest detection speed reaches 36.9 FPS, which can effectively improve the defect detection performance of PCB. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Most previous deep learning based methods use convolutional neural networks (CNNs) or Recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to model the separation process in music signals. In this paper, we propose a MLP-like encoder-decoder architecture, in which per-location features and spatial information in music signals are exclusively handled by multi-layer perceptrons (MLPs). Additionally, We introduce a novel fully-connected decoder for feature aggregation without using skip-connection. The experimental results on the benchmark dataset MUSDB18 show the proposed model achieves comparable performance to previous CNN and RNN based methods, which demonstrates that MLP serves as a promising backbone for the data-driven methods in music source separation. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Microscopy hyperspectral imaging (MHSI) integrates conventional imaging with spectroscopy to capture images through numbers of narrow spectral bands, and has attracted much attention in histopathology image analysis. However, due to the current hardware limitation, the observed microscopy hyperspectral images (MHSIs) has much lower spatial resolution than the coupled RGB images. High-resolution MHSI (HR-MHSI) reconstruction by fusing low-resolution MHSIs (LR-MHSIs) with high-resolution (HR) RGB images can compensate for the information loss. Unfortunately, radiometrical inconsistency between the two modalities often causes spectral and spatial distortions which degrade quality of the reconstructed images. To address these issues, we propose a Deep Wavelet Network (WaveNet) based on spectral grouping and feature adaptation for HR-MHSI reconstruction. For preservation of spectral information, the band-group-wise adaptation framework exploits intrinsic spectral correlation and decompose MHSI reconstruction in separate spectral groups. In spatial domain, we design the mutual adaptation block to jointly fuse the wavelet and convolution features by wavelet-attention for high-frequency information extraction. Specifically, to effectively inject spatial details from HR-RGB to LR-MHSI, radiometry-aware alignment is conducted between the two modalities. We compare WaveNet with several state-of-the-art methods by their performance on a public pathological MHSI dataset.
