Objective: To develop a neural network model that recommends traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal prescriptions. Methods: We constructed a new dataset of diagnosis and treatment knowledge from the Treatise on Febrile Diseases. Based on TCM's logical principles of 'syndrome differentiation' and 'state recognition', a back-propagation neural network model is proposed that simulates clinical diagnosis and treatment. Results: The proposed model is a four-layer BP neural network. Experiments on the constructed dataset show that the proposed method achieved the best precision, recall, and F1-scores. Conclusion: The proposed method provides much more accurate herbal prescription recommendations than logistic regression. © 2021 IEEE.

Accurate segmentation of CT images of liver tumors is an important adjunct for the liver diagnosis and treatment of liver *** recent years,due to the great improvement of hard device,many deep learning based methods have been proposed for automatic liver *** them,there are the plain neural network headed by FCN and the residual neural network headed by Resnet,both of which have many *** have achieved certain achievements in medical image *** this paper,we firstly select five representative structures,i.e.,FCN,U-Net,Segnet,Resnet and Densenet,to investigate their performance on liver *** original Resnet and Densenet could not perform image segmentation directly,we make some adjustments for them to perform live *** experimental results show that Densenet performs the best on liver segmentation,followed by *** perform much better than Segnet,U-Net,and *** Segnet,U-Net,and FCN,U-Net performs the best,followed by *** performs the worst.

Object detection is a fundamental component of computer vision, playing a pivotal role in various applications. However, the accurate detection of small and densely distributed objects remains a challenging problem in this field. This challenge is particularly exacerbated in the context of aerial imagery, characterized by its distinctive bird’s-eye view, intricate backgrounds, and the variability in object appearances. This paper addresses these persistent challenges in object detection, with a focus on the specific difficulties posed by aerial images. We propose a deformable end-to-end object detection with transformers (DETR)-based framework to enhance small object detection accuracy, ultimately contributing to improved computer vision capabilities in domains like remote sensing, surveillance, and autonomous aerial systems. Firstly, in order to aggregate the entire input sequence information in the backbone network and improve the detection accuracy of small objects, we propose DMCA based on deformable features and attention mechanisms. Secondly, in order to capture and model the relationships between samples for dense pixel-level representations in small objects and improve the detection accuracy of small objects, we try to introduce BatchEncoder by implementing an encoder in the batch dimension. Experimental results show that, compared to the baseline, our method significantly improves the accuracy of small object detection in aerial images. The processing and analysis of a large amount of remote sensing data require powerful computing power. The computing power Internet can integrate the scattered computing resources to provide flexible and scalable computing power to meet the computing needs of different sizes and types.

Accurate short-term electric load forecasting is crucial for ensuring the stability and efficiency of the power grid. This study proposes an innovative dual-branch electric load forecasting model that enhances the accuracy of predictions by processing global and local features in parallel. Global features are extracted through the Savitzky-Golay filter and a linear model to capture the overall trends of the load data. Local features are identified using the Convolutional Self-Attention Module, which integrates the local perception capabilities of Convolutional neural network with the self-attention mechanism of Transformers. By employing a Weighted Feature Fusion Network, we effectively integrate global and local information to enhance the performance of load forecasting. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model significantly outperforms existing models in predictive performance. The model presented in this study offers a new perspective on electric load forecasting and has the potential to become an effective tool for power system planning and scheduling.

Pattern recognition based on RGB-Event data is a newly arising research topic and previous works usually learn their features using CNN or Transformer. As we know, CNN captures the local features well and the cascaded self-attention mechanisms are good at extracting the long-range global relations. It is intuitive to combine them for high-performance RGB-Event based video recognition, however, existing works fail to achieve a good balance between the accuracy and model parameters, as shown in Fig. 1. In this work, we propose a novel RGB-Event based recognition framework termed TSCFormer, which is a relatively lightweight CNN-Transformer model. Specifically, we mainly adopt the CNN as the backbone network to first encode both RGB and Event data. Meanwhile, we initialize global tokens as the input and fuse them with RGB and Event features using the BridgeFormer module. It captures the global long-range relations well between both modalities and maintains the simplicity of the whole model architecture at the same time. The enhanced features will be projected and fused into the RGB and Event CNN blocks, respectively, in an interactive manner using F2E and F2V modules. Similar operations are conducted for other CNN blocks to achieve adaptive fusion and local-global feature enhancement under different resolutions. Finally, we concatenate these three features and feed them into the classification head for pattern recognition. Extensive experiments on two large-scale RGB-Event benchmark datasets (PokerEvent and HARDVS) fully validated the effectiveness of our proposed TSCFormer. Crowd counting has important applications in many fileds, but it is still a challenging task due to background occlusion, scale variation and uneven distribution of crowd. This paper proposes the Multi-level Progressive Aggregation Network (MPANet) to enhance the channel and spatial dependencies of feature maps and effectively integrate the multi-level features. Besides, the Aggregation Refinement (AR) module is designed to integrate low-level spatial information and high-level semantic information. The proposed AR module can effectively utilize the complementary properties between multi-level features to generate high-quality density maps. Moreover, the Multi-scale Aware (MA) module is constructed to capture rich contextual information through convolutional kernels of different sizes. Furthermore, the Semantic Attention (SA) module is designed to enhance spatial and channel response on feature maps, which can reduce false recognition of the background region. Extensive experiments on four challenging datasets demonstrate that our approach outperforms most state-of-the-art methods. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Infrared and visible image fusion aims to generate fused images with rich texture details and salient targets. However, existing methods often ignore illumination conditions, and the fusion results under low-light conditions lack texture details. To solve this problem, we propose an illumination-enhanced infrared and visible image fusion method, named IEFusion. Specifically, we first design a feature decomposition network based on retinex theory to obtain enhanced features of infrared and visible images. Then, the cross-modal feature fusion module is used to fuse important features. Finally, a gradient-enhanced image reconstructor is designed to enhance the gradient and generate a fused image. In addition, we design a contrastive learning module to guide the network to focus on deep features and maximize the mutual information of fused and enhanced images. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of our IEFusion over the state-of-the-art methods, in both qualitative and quantitative metrics.

Image-text matching is an important task in cross-modal information processing, which consists of evaluating the similarity between images and text. However, the data of the two modalities have different distributions and representations, which cannot be directly compared. Therefore, the two modalities need to be processed separately. Most existing image-text matching methods extract image fragments and text fragments separately, using an attention mechanism to establish relationships between regions in the image and words in the text. Subsequently, they aggregate the similarity of these images and text fragments. Regardless, not all fragment alignment is meaningful, and irrelevant fragment alignment will bring redundancy and reduce retrieval accuracy. In addition to that, there are contextual relationships between image regions and between text words, which should also be taken into account. In this paper, we simultaneously consider these two aspects and propose a Semantic-Enhanced Attention Network (SEAN). It first focuses on each modality, mining contextual relationships between fragments within each modality and aggregating contextual information into visual and textual embeddings. Then, we compute the similarity between all image regions and text fragments, focusing all attention on the region-word pairs with the highest similarity. Finally, we summarize these to infer the similarity between the image and text. Our method achieves competitive results on two generalized image text retrieval datasets, Flickr30K and MS-COCO.
