Although there are many kinds of fracture tests to choose from in evaluating the crack resistance of asphalt mixture,the semi-circular bending(SCB)test has attracted a lot of attention in the academic road engineering community because of its simplicity,stability,and flexibility in testing and *** SCB test has become a common method to study the cracking resistance of asphalt mixture in recent *** paper mainly summarizes the overview of the SCB test,summarizes some research results and common characterization parameters of the SCB test method in monotone test and fatigue test in recent years,and predicts and suggests the research direction of the SCB test in the *** is found that the research on the monotonic SCB test is more comprehensive,and the research on the SCB fatigue test needs to be further improved in the aspects of loading mode,characterization parameter selection,and so *** can flexibly adjust the geometric dimensions and the test parameters of semi-cylindrical specimens,and conduct comprehensive analysis combined with the results of numerical *** crack resistance of asphalt mixture can be comprehensively evaluated by fracture energy,fracture toughness,stiffness,flexibility index and other fracture indicators,combined with the crack propagation of the *** analysis of numerical simulation can confirm the test *** order to standardize the setting of fatigue parameters for future application,it is necessary to standardize the setting of bending performance.

In recent years,with the improvement of the requirements of road performance,modified emulsified asphalts with better performance has gradually replaced the emulsified asphalt and become the primary material for road *** paper introduces the modified emulsified asphalt materials commonly used in pavement maintenance projects,definitions and modified mechanisms of polymerized styrene butadiene rubber(SBR)modified emulsified asphalt,styrene butadiene styrene block polymer(SBS)modified emulsified asphalt and waterborne epoxy resin(WER)modified emulsified asphalt are *** analysis focused on comparing the effects of modifiers,preparation process,auxiliary additives,and other factors on the performance of modified emulsified *** this paper,it is considered that the greatest impact on the performance of emulsified asphalt is the modifier,emulsifier mainly affects the speed of breaking the emulsion,stabilizers on the basic performance of emulsified asphalt evaporative residue is small;and when the modifier is distributed in the asphalt in a network,the dosage at this time is the recommended optimum ***,this study recommends that in the future,the polymer-asphalt compatibility can be improved through composite modification,chemical grafting and other methods to continue to develop broader applicability and better performance of modified emulsified asphalt.

Deep neural networks possess substantial learning capacities and robust expressive power, making them prone to overfitting mislabeled data. Fortunately, the memorization effect shows that the networks tend to memorize the clean data first, and then gradually memorize the mislabeled data. Correspondingly, early stopping is proposed and has proven to be effective in mitigating overfitting. However, the networks can still overfit some mislabeled data in the early training stage, resulting in forgotten knowledge of clean data. In addition, early stopping lacks correction of errors caused by mislabeled data. In this paper, we propose that the network should continuously review the knowledge it learned earlier to enhance clean data memorization while timely correcting the incorrect knowledge learned from the mislabeled data. To implement these two ideas, we first introduce self-distillation into training, which employs a teacher network from the previous stage to guide the current network, enhancing clean data memorization. Based on this, we further propose the not-true distillation. Before distilling knowledge from the teacher network, we mask the true class (i.e. label class) in the logits, focusing only on not-true classes to correct the accumulated incorrect knowledge. Extensive experiments on simulated and realworld benchmarks adequately validate the superior performance of our method.

The hybrid storage architecture incorporates a blockchain dual-index structure optimized for byte addressing in non-volatile memory, low-latency features, and the large capacity of SSD. This paper presents a novel LSM-Tree architecture that leverages the byte-Addressing characteristics of non-volatile memory. The layers of the level0 and level1 are stored in non-volatile memory while employing a local key-value separation strategy to minimize read and write operations during compaction. A logic compression strategy is proposed to handle data compression tasks efficiently. A dual-index structure design is introduced for users to address the scope and multi-keyword queries in the blockchain system. During the compression process, keyword switching occurs during data reordering, ensuring that data within the same SSTable is rearranged according to user preferences. By effectively harnessing the advantages of each level in the hybrid storage architecture, this design significantly reduces both databases write time and the response time for complex queries. © 2023 IEEE.

For the blockchain storage system, this paper proposes an I/O optimization scheme based on non-volatile memory based on the storage performance requirements of the blockchain system application. This scheme adopts the key-value separation strategy. Due to the uncertain size of transaction data, by separating the 'key' and 'value' of transaction data, the inherent read-write amplification problem of the LSM-Tree structure is solved. The key-value separation strategy redesigns the storage system's space management and garbage collection mechanisms. Therefore, this chapter uses the byte-addressing characteristics of non-volatile memory to build a new data storage structure, a lazy compression mechanism, and a lazy garbage collection mechanism. On this basis, this paper builds a LazyDB database system for blockchain storage. To ensure the safe and reliable operation of the blockchain system, it can make full use of the storage medium and data characteristics, reducing the blockchain reading and writing process. The I/O overhead in the storage system improves the storage performance of the system. The experimental results show that compared with the most commonly used databases, such as LevelDB and RocksDB in the blockchain system, LazyDB effectively reduces the write amplification of the system and has higher read, write, and data update performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Since modern high performance computing systems are evolving towards diverse and heterogeneous architectures, the emergence of high-level portable programming models leads to a particular focus on performance portability. In this paper, we evaluate the performance portability and explore performance optimization methods for two portable programming models SYCL and Kokkos. We take an open-source multi-phase Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) flow simulation code as a case study and implement portable versions with different optimizations. Then we compare our portable implementations with engineer-tuned OpenMP and CUDA versions on Intel CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs. Experimental results show that both SYCL and Kokkos can deliver superior performance than traditional programming models, but the best performance of the portable versions depends heavily on platform-specific optimizations. There is no single implementation that can achieve the best performance on both CPUs and GPUs. Consequently, we conclude that the performance portability still needs to be further improved for both SYCL and Kokkos. In addition, we present a comparative analysis of different optimization methods that qualify the performance enhancement when using SYCL and Kokkos on CPUs and GPUs. Our work offers valuable references for the development of both portable programming models and applications.

Ferrite-rich calcium sulfoaluminate(FCSA)cement is often used in special projects such as marine engineering due to its excellent resistance of seawater attack although the cost is a little *** granulated blast furnace slag(GGBS),a byproduct of industrial production,is used as a mineral admixture to reduce concrete costs and provide excellent *** study aimed to investigate the impact of GGBS on the hydration properties of FCSA cement in *** were conducted on heat of hydration,compressive strength,mass change,and pH value of pore solution of FCSA cement paste with a water-to-binder ratio of 0.45.X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis and thermogravimetric analysis were used to determine the hydration products,while mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)was used to measure pore *** results indicated that the FCSA cement hydration showed a concentrated heat release at early *** compressive strength of specimens consistently increased over time,where seawater curing enhanced the compressive strength of control *** pH value of pore solution decreased to 10.7−10.9 at 90 d when cured in *** primary hydration products of FCSA cement included ettringite,iron hydroxide gel(FH_(3)),and aluminum hydroxide gel(AH_(3)).Moreover,when cured in seawater,Friedel’s salt was formed,which enhanced the compressive strength of the specimen and increased its coefficient of *** curing gradually increased sample mass,and GGBS refined pore structure while reducing harmful pore *** results suggest that while GGBS can refine pore structure and improve certain aspects of performance,its inclusion may also reduce compressive strength,highlighting the need for a balanced approach in its use for marine applications.

Link prediction is a basic and essential problem in complex network field. There are lots of dynamic networks in reality, nodes and links of which change with time such as online society network, e-commerce network et al. Effective and accurate link prediction for dynamic network is a challenging task because of the potential non-linear characteristics and massive dynamic nature. We propose an end-to-end model named AESAN (Autoencoder Self-Attention Network) that combines autoencoder and self-attention mechanism for dynamic network link prediction task. This model can integrate the structural and temporal evolution features of the dynamic network to achieve high-precision prediction, while effectively reducing the training time. Extensive experiments on real-world dynamic network datasets verified the validity of our model. © 2021 IEEE.

Hyperspectral image(HSI) has a wide range of application prospects because it contains rich image information. However, in a large amount of information, it usually contains a lot of noise, which will have a great impact on image processing and application. The biggest difficulty of hyperspectral image denoising lies in how to combine the information of many bands instead of denoising only one band. In this paper, a joint band hyperspectral image denoising model (HSI-UBDAE) based on the encoder is proposed, which makes full use of the correlation between bands and combines the spatial domain with the spectral domain to denoise HIS image effectively. Experiments on several real data sets show that the proposed method is superior to some mainstream denoising methods. © 2021 IEEE.

Finite Element Analysis and Experimental Verification of Residual Stress in Brazed Diamond with Ni-Cr Filler Alloy

Residual stress is the main factor affecting the processing performance and service life of brazed diamond tools. Due to the high melting point of Ni-Cr filler alloy, and the large difference in thermal expansion coefficient between diamond and brazing layer, excessive residual stress tend to be generated at brazed joint. The existing process parameters are difficult to meet the demand for the lower residual stress under high brazing temperature. Suppressing excessive residual stress has become the focus of current researches for the process optimization of brazed diamond tools. In this paper, the finite element model of brazed diamond is developed and optimized. The effects and mechanisms of brazing temperature, brazing layer thickness and holding time on residual stress of brazed diamond were analyzed by finite element method. The residual stress was measured by Raman spectroscopy and combined with grinding experiments to obtain the optimal brazing process route for brazed diamond with Ni-Cr filler alloy. The results show that the difference in thermophysical properties of materials and brazing process parameters are the main factors affecting residual stress in brazed diamond;The residual stress is significantly influenced by diamond shape characteristics and it tends to be larger at the joint between diamond edges and brazing layer. After optimizing the process parameters, the brazed diamond tool shows excellent processing performance, indicating that finite element method could provide an effective theoretical guidance for optimizing the process parameters of brazed diamond tools. © 2023, The Authors.
