How to generate a color image with as much information as possible from hyperspectral images on a trichromatic display is a subject of great concern. In a sense, effective bands containing important information can be extracted from hyperspectral data for image visualization through the method of band selection. In this paper, two improved methods are proposed for the linear prediction (LP) band selection *** to the information entropy, the band with the greatest difference in information domain is selected as initial ***, the max pooling method is used to select the pixel which can better reflect the image features. Finally, the band similarity is used to select the most distinctive band for hyperspectral image visualization. The experimental results are measured by the metrics such as feature separability, standard deviation, operation efficiency and image displaying *** final experimental results show that fast linear prediction (LP) algorithm is an effective method for hyperspectral image visualization. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Properties of Bioinspired Interpenetrating Ti2alnb/Tial Matrix Composite with Crossed-Lamellar Structure

TiAl alloys are considered as candidate materials to replace nickel-based superalloys in the range of 700~800 ℃. However, the intrinsic brittleness of TiAl alloy has always been the biggest bottleneck restricting its development. In this paper, a bioinspired interpenetrating Ti2AlNb/TiAl composite with crossed-lamellar structure was prepared by combining selective laser melting (SLM) and vacuum hot press sintering (HPS). Meanwhile, the metallurgical defects and microstructure of Ti2AlNb reinforcement skeleton printed under different volume energy densities (VEDs) was investigated, as well as the evolution of the microstructure at the interface region of the composite was systematically studied. We studied the mechanical properties of the composite including nanoindentation test, room temperature tensile and bending tests. The results show that, when the VED is 88.89 J/mm3, an almost completely dense reinforcement skeleton (~99.8%) is obtained. The interface region can be divided into four different reaction layers, namely LⅠ, LⅡ, LⅢ, LⅣ. LⅠ is mainly composed of Othick/thin lath-like, and O short rod-like phases. LⅡ is mainly composed of B2/β, acicular α2 and nanoscale ω-Ti3NbAl2 phases. The LⅢ mainly consists of B2/β phase. The LⅣ is composed of α2 phase. The deformability of each phase in the composite: B2/β phase >O phase >γ phase >α2 phase >ω phase. The tensile strength and fracture toughness of Ti2AlNb/TiAl composite are increased by 24.0% and 89.0%, respectively, compared with TiAl alloy, which is mainly contributed to the strong interfacial bonding between matrix and reinforcement as well as the synergistic action of Ti2AlNb reinforcement with high strength and toughness. © 2024, The Authors. Wireless rechargeable sensor networks (WRSN) can prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor networks (WSN). In WRSN, mobile charger (MC) is used to charge low-power sensor node (SN). How to plan an efficient charging path for MC is a NP-hard problem. The task is to plan a path for MC that can not only charge the SN requesting charging in time, but also reduce the driving distance, so as to reduce the energy loss of MC. In this paper, policy gradient path planning (PGPP) algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed to solve this problem. In PGPP, the SNs in WRSN are treated as the environment, and the base station and MC are seen as the sensors and actuators of the agent. A reward function which can measure the energy efficiency of MC is designed, and the policy gradient algorithm is used to learn the strategy. Simulation experiments show that compared with other MC charging path planning algorithms, PGPP algorithm has certain advantages in the speed of path planning and the energy efficiency of WRSN. © 2021 IEEE.

The rapid development of deep learning technology has made deep learning models widely used in image processing, speech recognition, and target tracking. However, the model becomes larger and larger, and it is difficult to deploy on a stand-alone device, usually on a distributed computing platform. As a high-performance digital signal processor developed by the 38th Research Institute of China Electronics technology Group, HXDSP has strong computing power and rich computing resources, and is suitable for computing-intensive applications such as deep learning. Design the many-core virtual platform based on the HXDSP simulator, and provide the parallel communication interface MPIRIO to realize fast communication and task synchronization between the HXDSPs, and provide basic conditions for the deployment of deep learning models. At the same time, the parallel computing capability and pipeline mechanism provided by the virtual platform are used to accelerate the operation of the model. Aiming at the problem that the traditional gradient descent algorithm needs to be manually set, the meta-learning optimization algorithm is used to realize the adaptive fine-tuning of the model on the virtual platform, forming a deep learning optimization framework based on the CPU/HXDSP heterogeneous system. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper,efficient numerical scheme is proposed for solving the water wave model with nonlocal viscous term that describe the propagation of surface water *** using the Caputo fractional derivative definition to approximate the nonlocal fractional operator,finite difference method in time and spectral method in space are constructed for the considered *** proposed method employs known 5/2 order scheme for fractional derivative and a mixed linearization for the nonlinear *** analysis shows that the proposed numerical scheme is unconditionally stable and error estimates are provided to predict that the second order backward differentiation plus 5/2 order scheme converges with order 2 in time,and spectral accuracy in *** numerical results are provided to verify the efficiency and accuracy of our theoretical ***,the decay rate of solutions are investigated.

This paper presents a novel inverse Lax-Wendroff (ILW) boundary treatment for finite difference Hermite weighted essentially non-oscillatory (HWENO) schemes to solve hyperbolic conservation laws on arbitrary geometries. The complex geometric domain is divided by a uniform Cartesian grid, resulting in challenge in boundary treatment. The proposed ILW boundary treatment could provide high order approximations of both solution values and spatial derivatives at ghost points outside the computational domain. Distinct from existing ILW approaches, our boundary treatment constructs the extrapolation via optimized through a least squares formulation, coupled with the spatial derivatives at the boundary obtained via the ILW procedure. Theoretical analysis indicates that compared with other ILW methods, our proposed one would require fewer terms by using the relatively complicated ILW procedure and thus improve computational efficiency while preserving accuracy and stability. Existing indoor visible light positioning methods, such as those based on fingerprint database algorithms, are complex to construct and consume significant resources. In response to this issue, the text proposes an end-to-end indoor visible light positioning method that samples continuous signals at a small number of random coordinate positions in indoor environments. Through a deep learning method based on attention mechanism, a nonlinear mapping between the received signal and spatial position coordinates is constructed, and the time series properties in the received signal are encoded as a feature in the data. The method is further improved by combining residual networks to improve accuracy. Through simulation experiments, it has been verified that the deep learning based localization method described in this article can achieve sub meter level accuracy on small sample datasets, and it has been proven that time series features have a significant impact on localization accuracy in indoor visible light positioning algorithms based on deep learning. © 2024 IEEE.

Scheme for braiding Majorana zero modes in vortices using an STT-matrix

Recently conducted experiments on two-dimensional topological superconductors have revealed various indications of Majorana zero modes (MZMs). However, progress in the manipulation of MZM braiding has been limited, impeding the realization of topological quantum computing. In this study, we propose a potential braiding scheme based on a spintronics device matrix. This scheme involves utilizing a matrix composed of spin-transfer torque devices (STT-matrix) alongside a two-dimensional topological superconductor material. By programming the ON/OFF states of the spintronics devices within the STT-matrix, it becomes possible to manipulate vortices hosting MZMs in the two-dimensional topological superconductor. To further investigate this concept, we construct a time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau model and perform numerical simulations to analyze vortex-driving dynamics, MZM braiding processes, and MZM fusion phenomena. Our findings demonstrate that this system exhibits high versatility and flexibility in manipulating vortices. With advancements in spintronics device technology, our proposed scheme offers a feasible and practical method for operating MZMs within vortices present in topological superconductors. © 2024, CC BY.

Post-hoc explanations are important for people to understand the predictions of explanation models. One class of methods in post-hoc explanation is the generation of counterfactuals, where a hypothetical example is obtained by perturbing the inputs to show how one could obtain a different prediction from the decision model. Counter-factual explanations should satisfy several properties: One is that counterfactuals generated under specific scenarios and constraints should be feasible for users, i.e., they should accommodate different causal constraints. The other is that it is more desirable for users to have a wider variety of viable examples, i.e., counterfactual diversity. To this end, we propose a parallelizable method based on gradient optimization. We partition the input feasible domains, perform counterfactual generation independently for each feasible domain, and then parallelize the counterfactual generation process for each feasible domain. Experimental results show that our approach effectively improves the diversity, sparsity, and proximity of the generated counterfactual instances on the public datasets Adult-Income, Lending-Club, German-Credit, and COMPAS compared to other models. © 2023 IEEE.

GPBiLQ and GPQMR: Two iterative methods for unsymmetric partitioned linear systems

We introduce two iterative methods, GPBiLQ and GPQMR, for solving unsymmetric partitioned linear systems. The basic mechanism underlying GPBiLQ and GPQMR is a novel simultaneous tridiagonalization via biorthogonality that allows for short-recurrence iterative schemes. Similar to the biconjugate gradient method, it is possible to develop another method, GPBiCG, whose iterate (if it exists) can be obtained inexpensively from the GPBiLQ iterate. Whereas the iterate of GPBiCG may not exist, the iterates of GPBiLQ and GPQMR are always well defined as long as the biorthogonal tridiagonal reduction process does not break down.
