Few-shot learning based methods can address the reliance on large-scale labeled samples in current breast tumor segmentation. However, previous methods typically rely on a few support samples to extract abstract, coarse-grained semantic prototypes, without considering the interaction between support and query data. In this study, we aim to provide each query image with relevant and information-rich support information. By integrating the difficult point selection module and the multi-scale cyclical prototype refinement module, we progressively refine coarse-grained support prototypes into more informative, fine-grained class prototypes, thereby better matching the highly variable breast ultrasound query data. Experiments on two datasets demonstrate that our proposed multi-scale cyclical similarity prototype refinement network (CSPRNet) achieves remarkable improvements compared to previous state-of-the-art methods. Specifically, using ResNet50 as the backbone, we achieve 57.93%/57.92% and 57.58%/59.24% mIoU for 1-shot and 5-shot segmentation, respectively, on public and private datasets, outperforming the suboptimal method by 8.18%/2.55% and 2.77%/4.48%.

intelligent supply line surveillance is critical for modern smart grids. Smart sensors and gateway nodes are strategically deployed along supply lines to achieve intelligent surveillance. They collect data continuously and transmit it to the control centre in real-time. It enables real-time monitoring, fault detection, and efficient energy management across distribution networks. This advanced surveillance system ensures continuous monitoring of supply lines, detecting anomalies, and optimizing operations to maintain the stability and reliability of the smart grid. However, the reliance of all participating nodes on public communication channels to transmit supply line surveillance data exposes these systems to critical cyber attacks. These cyber attacks include impersonation, physical tampering, ephemeral secret leakage, and desynchronization attacks. To address these issues, existing key-exchange protocols often fail to ensure robust security while imposing high computation and communication overheads, limiting their practicality for resource-constrained environments. Therefore, we propose a secure and efficient key exchange and tamper-resistant authentication protocol using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs). The PUF mechanism provides robust resistance against physical tampering and cloning attacks, ensuring enhanced physical security for supply line devices. We validate the security robustness of the devised protocol using the Random or Real (ROR) model. Furthermore, informal security analysis demonstrates the protocol's robustness in rigorously resisting various attacks, including physical tampering, impersonation, ephemeral secret leakage and desynchronization. Moreover, we determine the performance evaluation that reveals the protocol's superior efficiency compared to competing protocols, achieving significant reductions of 28.64% in computation overhead and 9.96% in communication overhead. © 2014 IEEE.

Academic collaboration has become one of the topics of large-scale social network analysis. The information extracted from academic collaboration also shows the contextual value in combination with other data. For academic collaborative social networks with intricate collaborative relationships, previous research methods mainly focused on network structure and community discovery, lacking in mining the characteristics of relationships in collaborative networks. There were some limitations in the research perspective. In this work, we propose a collaborative relationship representation method that is more suitable for academic collaborative social networks. It marks the attribute characteristics of nodes in collaborative relationships and highlights collaborative relationships in visualization. By adopting this new representation of collaborative relationships, we designed a visual analysis framework NcoVis, to visualize academic collaborative social networks. We further visually analyze the link relationship groups guided by nodes, and explore the potential representation of the structure and attribute characteristics of link relationships, so that analysts can explore the theme and structural change characteristics of link relationships, communities and the whole network in collaborative social networks. To prove the proposed framework, we conducted a case study on the academic collaboration literature data set, and analyzed the questionnaire with Likert scale through the user evaluation experiment, which verified the effectiveness of our method and the practicability of NcoVis. © 2022 IEEE.

In the image restoration task, how to make full use of spatial and channel feature information to improve the reconstruction quality of the model without significantly increasing the computational complexity is an important research issue. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a CS module (Channel Compression and Split-Attention) specifically for optimizing image denoising tasks. The module first compresses the features through a preliminary convolution operation, then introduces the split attention convolution mechanism to split the features by channel and dynamically weight them, thereby enhancing the model's adaptive attention to different feature channels and improving feature expression capabilities. Through experiments on multiple image denoising datasets, the results show that the CS module significantly improves the image reconstruction quality, especially in terms of peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR). At the same time, the introduction of the CS module does not lead to a significant increase in computational complexity, maintaining a high computational efficiency, which verifies the practicality and superiority of the module in image denoising tasks.

This paper investigates an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted semantic communication network. The energy-limited ground users (GUs) provide semantic services to periodically generated raw data and a UAV relays the extracted semantic information to a base station (BS). Semantic extraction enhances data responsiveness and reduces the age-of-information (AoI) by transmitting only the most essential information. However, more complex semantic extraction increases energy consumption, making it easier for the GUs to deplete their energy. Therefore, we introduce a novel energy-efficient AoI (EAoI) metric to capture both information freshness and energy consumption of the GUs. We formulate a time-averaged EAoI minimization problem by jointly optimizing the GUs' scheduling, pre-extraction strategy, semantic control, computing resource allocation, and the UAV's trajectory. We further propose a semantic-aware joint pre-extraction and trajectory planning (Sem-JPT) algorithm to decompose the complex optimization problem into three subproblems, which are solved by a series of approximation methods. Simulation results demonstrate that semantic communication can reduce the overall EAoI by more than 18% compared with conventional bit-based communication. Moreover, the proposed Sem-JPT algorithm can maintain information freshness and prolong the GUs' lifetimes, outperforming existing baselines. © 2025 IEEE.

As a long-term challenge and fundamental requirement in vision and language tasks, visual grounding aims to localize a target referred by a natural language query. The regional annotations form a superficial correlation between the subject of expression and some common visual entities, which hinder models from comprehending the linguistic content and structure. However, current one-stage methods struggle to uniformly model the visual and linguistic structure due to the structural gap between continuous image patches and discrete text tokens. In this paper, we propose a semi-structured reasoning framework for visual grounding to gradually comprehend the linguistic content and structure. Specifically, we devise a cross-modal content alignment module to effectively align unlabeled contextual information into a stable semantic space corrected by token-level prior knowledge obtained with CLIP. A multi-branch modulated localization module is also established to obtain modulation grounding by linguistic structure. Through a soft split mechanism, our method can destructure the expression into a fixed semi-structure (i.e., subject and context) while ensuring the completeness of linguistic content. Our method is thus capable of building a semi-structured reasoning system to effectively comprehend the linguistic content and structure by content alignment and structure modulated grounding. The inherent complexity of Wi-Fi signals makes video-aided Wi-Fi 3D pose estimation difficult. The challenges include the limited generalizability of the task across diverse environments, its significant signal heterogeneity, and its inadequate ability to analyze local and geometric information. To overcome these challenges, we introduce WiViPose, a video-aided Wi-Fi framework for 3D pose estimation, which attains enhanced cross-environment generalization through cross-layer optimization. Bilinear temporal-spectral fusion (BTSF) is initially used to fuse the time-domain and frequency-domain features derived from Wi-Fi. Video features are derived from a multiresolution convolutional pose machine and enhanced by local self-attention. Cross-modality data fusion is facilitated through an attention-based transformer, with the process further refined under a supervisory mechanism. WiViPose demonstrates effectiveness by achieving an average percentage of correct keypoints (PCK)@50 of 91.01% across three typical indoor environments. © 2025 IEEE.

With the increasing diversification and complexity of network security attacks, it is becoming more and more difficult to predict the network situation. In order to improve the effect of situation prediction, this paper constructs a network security situation prediction model for a Improved Particle Swarm Optimization and Attention fusion Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (IPSO-ABiLSTM). First, there is no real situation value for the UNSW-NB15 data set, and a situation value is generated based on the impact of the attack. Secondly, the particle swarm algorithm is improved. The IPSO algorithm makes the algorithm's global and local search capabilities more balanced and faster to converge. Finally, optimizing the hyperparameters of the BiLSTM network fused with the attention mechanism to obtain the final model, and combined with PSO-BiLSTM network, PSO-LSTM network, BiLSTM model for performance comparison. The experimental results show that the IPSO-ABiLSTM in this paper has a fitting degree of up to 0.9922, and the error value is relatively smaller, which verifies the effectiveness of the model proposed in this paper in the network security situation prediction problem. © 2022 IEEE.

The existing attention mechanism-based human pose estimation methods detect joints by modeling the global context of key points and their surrounding pixels. However, due to high computational complexity, these methods are difficult to keep key semantic information for multi-scale features. In this paper, we propose a new cross self-attention module for semantic preservation, which models the context information in both channel and spatial dimensions to obtain richer structural correlations between multiple human joints. Both the channel self-attention block and the spatial self-attention block adopt a dual branch structure to avoid the high computational complexity and reduce the loss of semantic information. The proposed module is generic and can be easily integrated into various feature extraction architectures. We validate our cross self-attention module based on HRNet through extensive experiments on CrowdPose and MS COCO datasets for multiple human pose estimation. The experiments show that the proposed method is proved to be robust to the occlusion, deformation and other complex scenes in pose estimation, achieving favorable performance on the CrowdPose datasets and the COCO datasets. © 2023, The Authors. Hyperspectral Image (HSI) cross-scene classification is a challenging task in remote sensing, particularly when real-time processing of Target Domain (TD) HSI is required, and data cannot be reused for training. While deep learning methods have shown promising results, the generalization ability of HSI representations remains limited, mainly due to class label imbalance. This paper introduces a dual-stage learning framework based on transfer learning to enhance classification accuracy in the TD. The framework includes a self-supervised learning stage and a supervised fine-tuning stage. The self-supervised stage focuses on learning robust representations by leveraging inherent structures within HSI data, while the fine-tuning stage uses training labels to extract semantic information. A masked diffusion model predicts masked tokens from unmasked ones, capturing both high-level structures and fine details in HSI data. An efficient spatiospectral Transformer, which removes self-attention from the decoder, is proposed to enhance the self-supervised process. This design allows mask tokens to obtain information from visible tokens without interacting with each other, reducing sequence length and computational costs. By decoding each mask token conditionally independently, only a subset of masked tokens is processed. Extensive experiments on two public HSI datasets demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art techniques. © 2025 IEEE.
