Majority of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients are highly susceptible to several forms of cognitive impairments,particularly ***,the underlying neural mechanism of these cognitive impairments remains *** aimed to investigate the correlation between whole brain resting state functional connections(RSFCs)and the cognitive status in 95 patients with *** constructed an elastic net model to estimate the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)scores,which served as an index of the cognitive status of the patients,and to select the RSFCs for further ***,we utilized a machine learning technique to evaluate the discriminative ability of the connectivity pattern associated with the selected *** estimated and chronological MoCA scores were significantly correlated with R=0.81 and the mean absolute error(MAE)=***,cognitive impairments of patients with T2DM can be identified using the RSFC pattern with classification accuracy of 90.54%and the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve(AUC)of *** connectivity pattern not only included the connections between regions within the default mode network(DMN),but also the functional connectivity between the task-positive networks and the DMN,as well as those within the task-positive *** results suggest that an RSFC pattern could be regarded as a potential biomarker to identify the cognitive status of patients with T2DM.

Document Grounded Conversations is a task to generate dialogue responses when chatting about the content of a given document. Obviously, document knowledge plays a critical role in Document Grounded Conversations, while existing dialogue models do not exploit this kind of knowledge effectively enough. In this paper, we propose a novel Transformerbased architecture for multi-turn document grounded conversations. In particular, we devise an Incremental Transformer to encode multi-turn utterances along with knowledge in related documents. Motivated by the human cognitive process, we design a two-pass decoder (Deliberation Decoder) to improve context coherence and knowledge correctness. Our empirical study on a real-world Document Grounded Dataset proves that responses generated by our model significantly outperform competitive baselines on both context coherence and knowledge relevance. In order to optimize the design of gear reducer, gear reducer optimal design to improve reliability and security, slow convergence and local optimum for FOA algorithm is proposed based on the improved type FOA gear reducer optimization design model. To avoid falling into local optimum Drosophila optimization algorithms, improved FOA algorithm by introducing a correction factor. Superior to the gear reducer seven variables optimization design model for the study, to ensure the safety and reliability of the premise, the FOA has the advantage of improved convergence speed and avoid local optimization problems, in order to verify the proposed method and reliability. © Springer International Publishing AG 2018.

Recent years have witnessed a growing interest in using machine learning to predict and identify critical dynamical phase transitions in physical systems (e.g., many-body quantum systems). The underlying lattice structures in these applications are generally regular. While machine learning has been adopted to complex networks, most existing works concern about the structural properties. To use machine learning to detect phase transitions and accurately identify the critical transition points associated with dynamical processes on complex networks thus stands out as an open and significant problem. Here we develop a framework combining supervised and unsupervised learning, incorporating proper sampling of training data set. In particular, using epidemic spreading dynamics on complex networks as a paradigmatic setting, we start from supervised learning alone and identify situations that degrade the performance. To overcome the difficulties leads to the idea of exploiting confusion scheme, effectively a combination of supervised and unsupervised learning. We demonstrate that the scheme performs well for identifying phase transitions associated with spreading dynamics on homogeneous networks, but the performance deteriorates for heterogeneous networks. To strive to meet this challenge leads to the realization that sampling the training data set is necessary for heterogeneous networks, and we test two sampling methods: one based on the hub nodes together with their neighbors and another based on k-core of the network. The end result is a general comprehensive machine learning framework for detecting phase transition and accurately identifying the critical transition point, which is robust, computationally efficient, and universally applicable to complex networks of arbitrary size and topology. Motion blur is one of the most common degradation artifacts in dynamic scene photography. This paper reviews the NTIRE 2020 Challenge on Image and Video Deblurring. In this challenge, we present the evaluation results from 3 competition tracks as well as the proposed solutions. Track 1 aims to develop single-image deblurring methods focusing on restoration quality. On Track 2, the image deblurring methods are executed on a mobile platform to find the balance of the running speed and the restoration accuracy. Track 3 targets developing video deblurring methods that exploit the temporal relation between input frames. In each competition, there were 163, 135, and 102 registered participants and in the final testing phase, 9, 4, and 7 teams competed. The winning methods demonstrate the state-of-the-art performance on image and video deblurring tasks. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

For protecting the copyright of a text and recovering its original content harmlessly,this paper proposes a novel reversible natural language watermarking method that combines arithmetic coding and synonym substitution *** analyzing relative frequencies of synonymous words,synonyms employed for carrying payload are quantized into an unbalanced and redundant binary *** quantized binary sequence is compressed by adaptive binary arithmetic coding losslessly to provide a spare for accommodating additional ***,the compressed data appended with the watermark are embedded into the cover text via synonym substitutions in an invertible *** the receiver side,the watermark and compressed data can be extracted by decoding the values of synonyms in the watermarked text,as a result of which the original context can be perfectly recovered by decompressing the extracted compressed data and substituting the replaced synonyms with their original *** results demonstrate that the proposed method can extract the watermark successfully and achieve a lossless recovery of the original ***,it achieves a high embedding capacity.

Spatial-Spectral Feature Extraction via Deep ConvLSTM Neural Networks for Hyperspectral Image Classification

In recent years, deep learning has presented a great advance in hyperspectral image (HSI) classification. Particularly, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), as a special deep learning structure, has shown great ability in modeling long-term dependencies in the time dimension of video or the spectral dimension of HSIs. However, the loss of spatial information makes it quite difficult to obtain the better performance. In order to address this problem, two novel deep models are proposed to extract more discriminative spatial-spectral features by exploiting the Convolutional LSTM (ConvLSTM). By taking the data patch in a local sliding window as the input of each memory cell band by band, the 2-D extended architecture of LSTM is considered for building the spatial-spectral ConvLSTM 2-D Neural Network (SSCL2DNN) to model long-range dependencies in the spectral domain. To better preserve the intrinsic structure information of the hyperspectral data, the spatial-spectral ConvLSTM 3-D Neural Network (SSCL3DNN) is proposed by extending LSTM to 3-D version for further improving the classification performance. The experiments, conducted on three commonly used HSI data sets, demonstrate that the proposed deep models have certain competitive advantages and can provide better classification performance than other state-of-the-art approaches. Computational prediction of the interaction between human leukocyte antigen (HLA) and peptide (pHLA) can speed up epitope screening and vaccine design. Here, we develop the TransMut framework composed of TransPHLA for pHLA binding prediction and AOMP for mutated peptide optimization, which can be generalized to any binding and mutation task of biomolecules. Firstly, TransPHLA is developed by using a Transformer-derived self-attention model to predict pHLA binding, which is significantly superior to 11 previous methods on pHLA binding prediction, neoantigen and human papilloma virus vaccine identification. For vaccine design, the AOMP program is then developed to automatically optimize mutated peptides to search for mutant peptides with higher affinity to the target HLA and with high homology to the source peptide. Among 3660 non-binding pHLAs, 3630 were successfully mutated. Of these, 94% were verified by the IEDB recommended method, and 88% have homology higher than 80% to the source peptide. © 2021, CC BY.

Learning compact target-oriented feature representations for visual tracking

Many state-of-the-art trackers usually resort to the pre-trained convolutional neural network (CNN) model for correlation filtering, in which deep features could usually be redundant, noisy and less discriminative for some certain instances, and the tracking performance might thus be affected. To handle this problem, we propose a novel approach, which takes both advantages of good generalization of generative models and excellent discrimination of discriminative models, for visual tracking. In particular, we learn compact, discriminative and target-oriented feature representations using the Laplacian coding algorithm that exploits the dependence among the input local features in a discriminative correlation filter framework. The feature representations and the correlation filter are jointly learnt to enhance to each other via a fast solver which only has very slight computational burden on the tracking speed. Extensive experiments on three benchmark datasets demonstrate that this proposed framework clearly outperforms baseline trackers with a modest impact on the frame rate, and performs comparably against the state-of-the-art methods.
