Signature verification is an important part of digital forensics. In order to solve the shortcomings of manual identification in technical accuracy and subjectivity, this paper proposed an off-line signature identification method based on Support Vector Machine (SVM). A powerful feature set is collected by extracting grid features and global features of a signature picture. The method is applied for identifying different writing systems and the highest correct probability of identification arrives at 100%. The results indicated that the method is workable and can be an effectively technical support for digital forensics.

The accuracy of the Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) navigation system determines whether they can safely operate and return. Traditional Dead-reckoning (DR) relies on the inertial sensors such as gyroscope and accelerometer. A major challenge for DR navigation is from measurement error of the inertial sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer, etc.), especially when the AUV is near or at the ocean surface. The AUV's motion is affected by ocean waves, and its pitch angle changes rapidly with the waves. This rapid change and the measurement errors will cause great noise to the direction measured by gyroscopes, and then lead to a large error to the DR navigation. To address this problem, a novel DR method based on neural network (DR-N) is proposed to explore the time-varying relationship between acceleration measurement and orientation measurement, which leverages acoustic localization and neural network estimate timely pitch angle through the explored time-varying relationship. This method enables AUV's DR navigation with a single acceleration, without relying on both acceleration and gyroscope. Most importantly, we can improve the accuracy of AUV navigation through avoiding DR errors caused by gyroscope noise at the sea surface. Simulations show DR-N significantly improves navigation accuracy.

Since network server based on traditional network modal has the characteristics of high CPU utilization, long time to response client connections, low data transmission speed and the lack of common multithreading, I/O Completion Port, namely IOCP, was proposed to implement the large-scale network server. Firstly, the basic procedure of building the network server was provided, then several common problems was discussed deeply and the corresponding solutions was given, at last, the performance of the server based on IOCP mechanism was compared with the performance of the server based on overlapped I/O mechanism. The experimental results show that IOCP mechanism has good technical advantages in the process of designing large-scale network communication system.

An improved RANSAC algorithm based on structural similarity was proposed to improve the speed and accuracy of traditional RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) algorithm and to reduce iterations and runtime. Firstly, BRISK (Binary Robust Invariant Scalable keypoints) algorithm was used to extract and describe feature points. The initial match set is obtained by hamming distance feature matching. Then, mismatches are eliminated by similar structure constraints. Finally, the new match set is taken as the input of RANSAC to calculate the transformation matrix. The algorithm can obtain the transformation model quickly because it has purified matching points after the initial matching. Experiments show that the number of iterations and runtime of this algorithm are obviously less than the number of iterations and runtime of the traditional algorithm. So the proposed method outperforms traditional RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) algorithm significantly both in iterations and speed.

Among the three abnormals, architectural distortion is the most difficult one to detect for both radiologists and CAD systems. In this article, we use automatic architectural distortion detection method to locate initial suspicious areas. Then, combine the transfer learning to detect architectural distortion, the reason we use transfer learning is the number of samples of architectural distortion in mini-MIAS database and Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM) is small, and the number of malignant mass is much larger. The malignant mass and the architectural distortion are similar. Our objective is by transferring malignant mass information to improve the recognition rate of AD in the case of only a small amount of AD training samples.
