Blind super-resolution (SR) requires not only estimating blur kernel, but also super-resolving low-resolution image based on estimated blur kernel. Most blind SR methods use convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for kernel estimation, which cannot exploit long-range dependency within image domain, thus failing to predict blur kernel accurately. To address this issue, we propose a network combining CNN and transformer named NCCT for kernel estimation. By modeling local and non-local image priors simultaneously, NCCT outperforms other blind SR methods in terms of kernel estimation accuracy. Moreover, we design a network module named RRFDB for constructing lightweight blind SR network, which runs faster and achieves comparative SR performance with fewer parameters compared with other state-of-the-art blind SR methods. © 2022 IEEE.

As the geometries of transistors continue to scale down, single-event transient (SET) are becoming a major source of soft errors in circuit design. This paper proposes a machine learning method for modeling SET in circuit-level simulations with the high efficiency, since traditional models such as the double exponential model are not coupled with circuit responses. The proposed artificial neural network (ANN) model shows a great prediction accuracy for single-event transient currents in 12nm FinFET technology under different time, linear energy transfer (LET), bias voltage, and strike positions. The trained model can be implemented into SPICE with Verilog-A for circuit-level simulation, and its validity in a 7-stage inverter chain and a 6T SRAM are demonstrated to provide the rapid guidance for radiation reliability. © 2023 IEEE.

Fire is a serious disaster that endangers life and property worldwide. Accurate and prompt fire detection can provide early warning information for firefighting efforts. Deep learning-based object detection algorithms have proven to be useful in the field of fire detection. However, fire detection is a particularly challenging task, due to the low-resolution of fire images and the presence of blurring and deformation in the targets. Existing fire detection methods are limited by poor detection accuracy and slow speed in complex fire scenarios. To address these challenges, we propose a fire detection algorithm based on improved YOLOv5s. Firstly, the attention module is embedded into the network structure. We introduce this attention module into the last layer of the backbone to enhance feature extraction ability. Secondly, we modify the Neck structure to fully fuse different feature maps. Through fusing extra low-level features from the backbone, it utilizes various receptive fields to enhance the expression of feature. Thirdly, SIoU is introduced to achieve faster convergence during the training. SIoU take into account the direction of the mismatch to redefine penalty indicators. The experimental results show that our proposed algorithm outperforms commonly used models. Even compared to specific fire detectors, our model exhibits certain advantages. © 2023 IEEE.

Intelligent fault diagnosis has been widely used in the industry and plays a crucial role in the health management of machinery. In recent years, unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) has been applied to fault diagnosis, showing excellent performance under variable working conditions. However, most existing UDA-based methods do not consider the temporal relations in the fault signal, resulting in sub-optimal performance. In this paper, we proposed a domain adversarial interaction network (DAIN) to solve this problem. By downsampling sub-sequences of fault signals and interacting with their features, DAIN can obtain feature representations containing the temporal relations. In addition, domain adversarial learning and maximum mean discrepancy (MMD) are applied to DAIN to align the domain discrepancy and distribution discrepancy of source and target domains. We conducted extensive experiments on the public Paderborn University (PU) dataset, and the results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve higher cross-domain fault diagnosis accuracy than the existing methods. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Code search is a highly required technique for software development. In recent years, the rapid development of transformer-based language models has made it increasingly more popular to adapt a pre-trained language model to a code search task, where contrastive learning is typically adopted to semantically align user queries and codes in an embedding space. Considering that the same semantic meaning can be presented using diverse language styles in user queries and codes, the representation of queries and codes in an embedding space may thus be non-deterministic. To address the above-specified point, this paper proposes an uncertainty-aware contrastive learning approach for code search. Specifically, for both queries and codes, we design an uncertainty learning strategy to produce diverse embeddings by learning to transform the original inputs into Gaussian distributions and then taking a reparameterization trick. We also design a hard negative sampling strategy to construct query-code pairs for improving the effectiveness of uncertainty-aware contrastive learning. The experimental results indicate that our approach outperforms 10 baseline methods on a large code search dataset with six programming languages. The results also show that our strategies of uncertainty learning and hard negative sampling can really help enhance the representation of queries and codes leading to an improvement of the code search performance. As a cause of interfering with routine activities, freezing of gait (FOG) is a severe syndrome of Parkinson's disease (PD) and usually performs as an abrupt and momentary inability to effective stepping forward. Advanced wearable acceleration sensors based on socially implemented Internet of medical things (IoMT) devices can remotely provide a platform for recognizing FOG. However, due to the diverse data acquisition modes that appear in classic IoMT devices, the obtained data may contain imprecise, hesitant, and incomplete ones. Meanwhile, the bounded rationality owned by neurologists usually has a big impact on using wearable acceleration sensors to predict illnesses. Therefore, the objective of this article lies in exploring a fuzzy intelligence learning approach based on bounded rationality in IoMT systems and providing a valid scheme for biomedical data analysis. Specifically, a brand-new three-way group decision-making approach by means of TODIM (an acronym in Portuguese for interactive multicriteria decision-making) with incomplete dual hesitant fuzzy (DHF) information and its applications in detecting FOG in PD using IoMT devices are systematically explored. First, taking advantage of DHF sets (DHFSs) when depicting realistic group decision information, the concept of multigranulation (MG) incomplete DHF information systems is built. Second, adjustable MG DHF probabilistic rough sets (PRSs) are further put forward via DHF similarity relations. Third, a three-way group decision-making approach is constructed by virtue of adjustable MG DHF PRSs and TODIM. Finally, the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the constructed three-way group decision-making approach are investigated by a University of California, Irvine (UCI) dataset with several experimental analyses in the background of FOG detection in PD using IoMT devices. The experimental result indicates that the developed fuzzy intelligence learning approach achieves reasonable diagnostic conclusions

This work presents an adaptive tracking guidance method for robotic fishes. The scheme enables robots to suppress external interference and eliminate motion jitter. An adaptive integral surge line-of-sight guidance rule is designed to eliminate dynamics interference and sideslip issues. Limited-time yaw and surge speed observers are reported to fit disturbance variables in the model. The approximation values can compensate for the system's control input and improve the robots' tracking ***, this work develops a terminal sliding mode controller and third-order differential processor to determine the rotational torque and reduce the robots' run jitter. Then, Lyapunov's theory proves the uniform ultimate boundedness of the proposed method. Simulation and physical experiments confirm that the technology improves the tracking error convergence speed and stability of robotic fishes.

In this paper, a microstrip antenna array using shorting vias is presented with port and radiation pattern decoupling. Shorting vias on the passive patch introduce an opposite current component, canceling the original coupling currents and obtaining the decoupling of antenna elements. To verify the decoupling method, a sample is designed at 3.6 GHz. The measured port isolation of the decoupled antenna array is more than 25.7 dB. It should be highlighted that the radiation patterns of decoupled antenna elements are all along the broadside direction, defined as the radiation pattern decoupling effect. © 2023 IEEE.

With the continuous improvement of various high-performance computing systems, various data centers had also been fully expanded. Energy consumption and actual performance measurement were very important indicators, which were also key issues in how to judge parallel calls for some tasks in high-performance computer systems. Modern processors were basically equipped with software control functions such as DVFS (Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling), in the actual system operation to ensure that the system could ensure the reasonable operation of the system while reducing energy consumption indicators. This paper considered how the designed scheduling algorithm first divides tasks reasonably to ensure that the maximum completion time and energy consumption of the processor were sufficiently reduced when the directed acyclic graph was executed. Then considered making reasonable adjustments to the processor frequency using DVFS technology to adapt to the task while ensuring the critical path of the task. The solution of tridiagonal linear systems is used in in various fields and plays a crucial role in numerical simulations. However, there is few efficient solver for tridiagonal linear systems on the new Sunway supercomputer. Based on a three-dimensional heat conduction problem, we propose an adaptive heterogeneous tridiagonal matrix algorithm (AH-TDMA). Our major innovations include: (1) To address computational hotspots within AH-TDMA, a multi-level parallel approach involving MPI+Athread has been adopted. (2) An adaptive data partitioning scheme has been set up to achieve load balance. (3) Employing direct memory access and establishing shared space between registers and main memory, instead of employing discrete memory access, is done to enhance memory access efficiency. (4) The optimization of the loop structure has been made in adjusting the sequencing of the dual-layered loops to reduce communication overhead. The experimental results show that, with one core group, the AH-TDMA achieves a speedup of 99.6 times for hotspot and total time speedup up to 59.4 times compared to the Parallel and Scalable Library for Tridiagonal Matrix Algorithm (PaScal TDMA). The AH-TDMA is scalable up to 2048 core groups, with a parallel efficiency of 69.2%. © 2023 IEEE.
