A new method to analyze the losses of core of power transformers is proposed. Epstein frame and specimens that are sheared at different angles to rolling direction to measure B-H curves and Wt-B curves of grain-oriented silicon steel sheets are used with this method to take account of anisotropy of the core. The computational results using both the conventional and proposed methods of the iron loss of a three-phase transformer are compared to validate the new proposal.

With the development of ASIC technology, buffered-crossbar (CICQ) switch is becoming more and more attractive, and many scheduling algorithms have been proposed based on this architecture. However, the existing schemes are either still a little complicated in hardware implementation or low efficient in scheduling performance. In this paper, we propose a simple and high efficient scheduling algorithm called maximum urgency first (MUF). Since the MUF algorithm systematically evaluates the scheduling demands of both the input queues and the crosspoint queues in arbitrations of input scheduling, it not only can sufficiently make use of the output bandwidth, but also can efficiently control the increment of the input queue length. By compressing the queue length of the input queue and the crosspoint queue into the input urgency (IU) and the output urgency (OU), the implementation complexity of the MUF algorithm is largely decreased. Simulation results show that MUF can obtain better stability anddelay performance than traditional scheduling schemes presented for CICQ switches.

In order to study local structure in Pd42.5Ni7.5Cu30P20 excellent bulk metallic glass-former, an anomalous x-ray scattering (AXS) experiment was performed at energies close to the Pd, Ni and Cu K absorption edges together with the reference Pd40Ni40P20 and Pd40Cu40P20 glasses at the beamline BM02 of the ESrF. The differential structure factors, ΔiS(Q), were obtained with a good statistical quality. A small shoulder observed at about 19 nm-1 in S(Q) becomes prominent in ΔPdS(Q), indicating a Pd-Pd atomic correlation of 0.32 nm. This pre-shoulder was not observed in Pd40Ni40P20 bulk glass having a slightly worse critical-cooling-rate, but in Pd40Cu40P20 glass ribbon available by only ultrafast quenching. It is suggested that covalently bonded Pd-P-Pd connection with an almost right bond angle would be formed by replacing the Ni with the Cu atoms. From the obtaining differential pairdistribution function around the Pd K edge, ΔPdg(r), the first peak position in Pd42.5Ni7.5Cu30P20 shows a longest atomic distance among the glasses and the width of the first peak is slightly narrower than that in Pd40Cu40P20. Thus, a more uniform atomic arrangement around Pd atoms with a loose packing, i.e., a longer and uniform Pd sublattice, is expected for Pd42.5Ni7.5Cu30P20 compared to the other two reference glasses.

This paperdescribes a development of a small and high-performance embedded controller system in order to apply it to a robot system for improving productivity in shipbuilding. The development of such an embedded controller was performed as a coherent design anddevelopment through applying a digital signal processor. The product developed in this study consists of a CPU board including vision functions, motion anddriver boards for servo motor controls, and input/out and power board. Also, various communication protocols were implemented in the development process by considering their expansibility and flexibility. In addition, a robot controller system was developed to communicate external robot operation systems as a manner of wired and wireless communication. Furthermore, this study performed functional and environmental tests to verify the stable operation of such a robot controller under internal or external poor working conditions.

The increasing heterogeneity of communication networks and the variability in userrequirements form a challenge for source coding algorithms. To address this challenge, the aim of the Flex- Code source coding approach is to create a speech and audio coder that can adapt instantaneously to network and userrequirements. The approach is based on a statistical description of the source, a model of perception, and analytic relations between bit rate, distortion, packet-loss rate, and the reconstruction-point distribution density of the quantizers. The method facilitates analytic optimization of the source coder for given network and input signal conditions and userrequirements at any time. Preliminary results confirm that the flexibility in rate androbustness can be obtained without a loss in performance compared to state-of-the-art coders optimized for particular conditions.

With the rapid growth of the Internet, e-commerce has been growing and expanding significantly, according to Fortune, almost all of the global top 500 companies have started online marketing; e-commerce is presently far from the mainstream of modern trade behaviors. The influencing factors in e-commerce transaction behaviors are explored in this paper. This paper takes network customers of a large e-commerce enterprise as research object; the influencing factors are integrated into three categories, respectively managerial factors, external environmental factors and internal environmental factors. And analyzes the influencing factors in the process of e-commerce transaction in terms of customer behaviors, constructs a functional process model for influencing factors in e-commerce transaction activities, integrates such factors into the model, and illustrates the functional mechanism of all the factors in e-commerce transaction. Studies on influencing factors for e-commerce transaction in the perspective of e-commerce customers will help shed light on such contradiction.

IP multicast is an effective way of dissemination of the same information to potentially large number of users. In IP multicast, a multicast IP address is used for identifying each multicast session. When large number of various contents should be disseminated, e.g. software distribution to various types of information home appliances, lots of multicast addresses are necessary. Source Port Specific Multicast (SPSM) is an effective way of saving IP multicast addresses. In SPSM, both of a source port of transport layer and an IP address in network layer is used for identification of multicast session. When SPSM routers are partially deployed, Le. SPSM routers and non-SPSM routers (IP multicast router) co-exist in a network, unnecessary traffic may be generated because non-SPSM routers cannot identify multicast sessions having the same multicast address. In this paper, we analyze this unnecessary traffic volume with various deployment scenes of SPSM routers.
