The most recent threat which was threatening every individual’s health nowadays was the Covid-19 virus. Hence focusis made on applying AI methods to predict and diagnose the covid during pregnancy. The evolution of specific recognition techniques and a lack of accurate viral identification was the main reason for the rise of Covid-19. Numerous alignment free techniques for identifying the viral infection were considered. However, all those techniques seem to be time consuming. Hence the researchers proposed alignment-free techniques by incorporating genomic methods. Numerous AI techniques were employed for gathering the mutation data, analyzing, and classifying the genome sequences, and for the preventive methods of vaccine drugs. Even though the approach tends to be effective and flexible, its difficulty lies in the process of data collection and needs proper validation. The artificial neural networks tools were used to overcome the challenges associated with Covid-19. For analyzing and evaluating, specific medical data were applied in each stage for better performance.

Gold (Au) nano-island arrays were deposited on the glass substrate to fabricate surface-enhanced raman scattering (SErS) substrates by in-situ thermal evaporation (deposited and annealed samples at the same time). The optimal SErS intensity deposited by various thicknesses and in-situ annealing temperatures of Au nano-island arrays would be investigated. The biomolecules (adenine) were dropped on the well-designed SErS substrate for precise and quantitative SErS detection. The characterization of Au nano-island arrays SErS substrate would be evaluated by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and raman spectroscopy. The results showed that the optimal deposition thickness and annealing temperature of Au nano-island arrays SErS substrate is about 14 nm and 200 °C respectively, which can construct the smallest interparticle spacing (W)/ particle diameter (d) ratio and the lowest reflection (%) and transmittance (%) to form the strongest SErS intensity. Moreover, finite-difference time-domain (FdTd) simulation of the electromagnetic field distributions on Au nano-island arrays displays the similar trend with the experimental results. The 14 nm deposition with 200 °C in-situ annealing temperature would display the highest density of hot-spots by FdTd simulation. The reproducible Au nano-island arrays SErS substrates with tunable surface roughness, W/d ratio, and lower reflection and transmittance show promising potential for SErS detection of biomolecules, bacteria, and viruses. © 2023

In the era of tightening environmental regulations and fast rising fossil fuel costs, green-energy propelling technologies have been in great demand for the maritime industry. By the electrohydrodynamic propulsion, this work demonstrates the launch of an ion-wind powered boat (iBoat) that offers a novel propeller-free approach with insignificant noise and low power consumption. The innovative design of the iBoat includes a conducting wire functioning as the emitter, while the water surface was exploited as the downstream electrode, thus, eliminating the need for the second electrode which is typically essential for the ion wind generation. Herein the first launch of a miniaturized iBoat is presented, with a capability of carrying payloads of up to eight times heavier than its own weight. The proposed ion wind propulsion system can generate a thrust-to-power ratio of 1.45 mN/W using a simple wire-dielectric-water configuration. The novel configuration of the iBoat would pave the way for the future development of propeller-free boats with insignificant noise and low power consumption in real-life applications including army and wild-life surveillance missions. © 2023, The Authors. The infiltration of Sn, Ag, Cu and Fe dopants into a Ni/ScCeSZ anode was investigated to enhance the catalytic activity towards methane dry reforming and improve the carbon resistance of Ni-based anode solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The electrochemical performance of the modified SOFCs was evaluated under hydrogen and simulated biogas at 750°C. Among all the tested cells, the Sn-doped cell exhibited the highest power output, with peak power densities of 0.997 W•cm-2 and of 0.963 W•cm-2, respectively. The undoped Ni/ScCeSZ anode ceased operation after 11 hours in biogas at 750°C due to severe carbon deposition. In contrast, all doped cells operated successfully for over 120 hours under simulated biogas. SEM and raman spectroscopy characterisations confirmed that no carbon deposition on the surfaces of Sn, Ag, and Cu-doped anodes after the biogas operation. despite carbon deposition was detected on both undoped and Fe-doped anodes after biogas operation, the infiltration of the Fe dopant resulted in a reduced graphitization degree of carbon deposited on the biogas-tested anode surface. © 2024, The Authors. In order to improve the energy efficiency of Mine cement enterprise, this paper adopts dual pressure steam system and compound flash filling system, established the mathematical model of the waste heat recovery, according to the established equilibrium model, the calculation and analysis of thermal system with the two methods of flow, and compare to various performance parameters of the heating system, it is concluded that compound flash heating system efficiency can reach 44.2%, more suitable for the engineering practice of Mine cement clinker production line. © 2019 Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa. The ModelWriter platform provides a generic framework for automated traceability analysis. In this paper, we demonstrate how this framework can be used to trace the consistency and completeness of technical documents that consist of a set of System Installation design Principles used by Airbus to ensure the correctness of aircraft system installation. We show in particular, how the platform allows the integration of two types of reasoning: reasoning about the meaning of text using semantic parsing and description logic theorem proving;and reasoning about document structure using first-order relational logic and finite model finding for traceability analysis. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) seamlessly integrates operational technology with modern connectivity technologies, ushering in a new age in industrial operations. Covalent organic framework (COF), a new emerging class of crystalline porous polymeric networks with reversible covalent bonds are a better smart material in Nano medicine in this regard. 1,3,5-Triformylbenzene (TFB) and 2,5-Bis(methylsulfonyl)-1,4-diaminobenzene (BMSdAB) are used to develop a uniform shaped covalent organic framework at room temperature (rT-USCOF). In order to achieve the PTT and PdT effect in rT-USCOF, near infrared photosensitizer, photothermal and fluorescence agent, indocyanine green (ICG) was encapsulated. Moreover, enhanced loading content of ICG in I rT-USCOF to produce II rT-USCOF followed by stabilize with hyaluronic acid designed in order to reduce drug leakage and increase carrier stability. The II rT-USCOF-HA exhibits an increased encapsulation efficiency of 57.75% and a drug loading capacity of 53.59%. The developed system shows an 80% ICG release upon exposure to NIr 808-laser in acidic pH relative to the one without light irradiation proved the effective structural changes under light cause drug release. The newly developed II rT-USCOF-HA shows excellent biocompatibility against NIH 3T3 cell lines and CT2A cell lines under dark. Whereas, upon irradiation with NIr 808 nm laser, the system kills more than 70% of the cells and cellular uptake studies also proved the same. Finally, flow cytometry analysis confirmed, the II-rT-USCOF-HA treated with CT2A cell lines shows an early apoptosis cell population of 1.95%, a late apoptosis rate of 1.24% and a necrotic cell death of 4.77%, which are significantly greater than the free ICG treated groups. The singlet oxygen production followed by thermal ablation of tumor cells by the developed system further demonstrates its efficacy as a PdT/PTT probe. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd

Forced Convection Heat Transfer in Heat Sinks with Topologies Based on Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces

This study investigates the forced-convection heat-transfer in three mathematically designed heat-sinks with lattice-topologies based on triply-periodic-minimal-surfaces (TPMS). The TPMS lattices consist of periodically arranged diamond- or Gyroid-cells of 10-mm size and 80% porosity. Two-types of TPMS-topologies are considered in designing the Gyroid heat-sink;Gyroid-Solid with solid-networks and Gyroid-Sheet with sheet-networks. This investigation aims to examine the thermohydraulic performance of these novel heat-sinks and provide comparisons with other heat-sinks in the literature. An airflow channel is utilized to study the hydrodynamic characteristics of the TPMS heat sinks, and a validated numerical model is used to explore the thermal performance. The results show that form drag dominates pressure drop in the range 2000 © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

recovery of alginate extracted from aerobic granular sludge(AGS)has given rise to a novel research ***,these extracted alginate solutions have a water content of nearly 100%.Alternately,ultrafiltration(UF)is generally used for concentration of ***,the introduction of multivalent metal ions into alginate may provide a promising method for the development of novel *** this study,membrane fouling mitigation by multivalent metal ions,both individually and in combination,and properties of recycled materials were investigated for UF recovery of sodium alginate(SA).The filtration resistance showed a significantly negative correlation with the concentration of metal ions,arranged in the order of Mg^2+ration resistance mitigation),and the moisture content of recycled filter cake showed a marked *** Ca^2+,Mg^2+,Fe^3+,and Ca^2++Fe^3+,the filtration resistances were almost the same when the total charge concentration was less than 5 mmol·L^–***,when the total charge concentration was greater than 5 mmol·L^–1,membrane fouling mitigation increased significantly in the presence of Ca^2+or Fe^3+and remained constant for Mg^2+with the increase of total charge *** filtration resistance mitigation was arranged in the order of Fe^3+>Fe^3++Ca^2+>Ca^2+>Mg^2+.Three mechanisms were proposed in the presence of Fe^3+,such as the decrease of SA concentration,change in p H,and production of hydroxide iron colloids from *** properties of recycled materials(filter cake)were investigated via optical microscope observation,dynamic light scattering,Fourier transform infrared,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and scanning electron *** results provide further insight into UF recoveries of alginate extracted from AGS.
