OBJECTIVE:To explore how Qingfei Zhisou oral liquid(清肺止嗽口服液,QFZS)adjusts body temperature bias and the interaction of inflammatory factors levels and metabolomic ***:dry yeast was subcutaneously injected at 10 mL/kg to establish the pyrexia *** randomly divided 60 Sprague-dawley rats into five groups:control,model,positive,low dose of QFZS and high dose of *** proteins were evaluated by Western blotting and *** the examination of the endogenous metabolites,enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography high-resolution mass spectrometry were ***:QFZS significantly reduced rats'body temperature within 6 h after dry yeast injection and reduced the secretion of the arginine vasopressin,cyclic adenosine monophosphate,prostaglandin E-2,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and interleukin-1βin ***,we identified 41 metabolites between the model and QFZS groups,including arachidonic acid and *** restored normal arachidonic acid *** on the differential metabolite enrichment analysis,QFZS's antiinflammatory and anti-pyrexia effects might be related to the inflammatory pathway regulated by transient receptor ***,QFZS treatment reduced transient receptor potential melastatin 2 ion channel expression and affected TNF-α,heat shock protein 70,and cyclooxygenase-2 expression in the ***:QFZS exerts its regulatory effects on fever by regulating the metabolism of lysophospholipids and arachidonic acid and the regulation of inflammation via transient receptor potential ion channels channels.

Prior austenite grain boundary recognition in martensite microstructure based on deep learning

Grain size determination is essential in producing and testing iron and steel *** size determination of martensitic steels usually requires etching with picric acid to reveal the prior austenite grain ***,picric acid is toxic and explosive and belongs to hazardous chemicals,which makes it difficult for laboratories and testing institutions to obtain.A new experimental method was developed to use Nital etchant instead of picric *** deep learning method was used to recognize the prior austenite grain boundaries in the etched martensite microstructure,and the grain size could be determined according to the recognition ***,the polished martensite specimen was etched twice with Nital etchant and picric acid,respectively,and the same position was observed using an optical *** images of the martensitic structure and its prior austenite grain boundary label were obtained,and a data set was ***,based on this data set,a convolutional neural network model with a semantic segmentation function was trained,and the accuracy rate of the test set was 87.53%.Finally,according to the recognition results of the model,the grain size rating can be automatically determined or provide a reference for experimenters,and the difference between the automatic determination results and the measured results is about 0.5 level.

Flexible self-powered electromechanical devices,such as piezoelectric nanogenerators(PENGs),which are used in wearable and implantable devices,are emerging as state-of-the-art clean energy *** this study,a scalable supersonic spraying technique was used to prepare flexible piezocomposite films of polyvinylidene fluoride(PVdF)and hydrothermally synthesized ZnSnO_(3)(ZSO)cubes for *** spectra confirmed that the transformation of the α-phase of PVdF to its β-phase was induced by the shear stress generated between the ZSO particles and PVdF polymer during supersonic *** op-timized sample comprising 0.43 g of ZSO cubes and 1 g of PVdF produced a maximum piezopotential of 41.5 V and a short-circuit current,I_(sc),of 52.5 μA.A maximum power density of 50.6 μW cm-2 was ob-tained at a loading resistance of 0.4 MΩ,which matched the impedance of the ***-term tapping and bending cycles of N_(tap)=4200 and N_(bend)=600 yielded piezopotentials of 40.5 and 1.7 V,*** addition,electrical poling for 2 h increased the piezopotential to 52 V owing to the alignment of the ferroelectric dipoles in the PVdF.

Aviation industry is moving towards more electric aircraft, where both non-propulsive and propulsive loads are electrified. While bringing in various benefits, electric propulsion system (EPS) introduces extra complexity and weight to aircraft, as well as raises the reliability concern. New design and analysis tools are required to size the EPS while meeting stringent reliability requirements. This paper investigates how to consolidate readability into the EPS sizing process and makes two-fold contributions. First, a probabilistic algorithm is proposed to assess the reliability of the EPS admitting a directed acyclic graph topology. The algorithm reduces the directed acyclic graph to a layered tree, which simplifies the calculation of joint probability of nodes in each layer. Second, we formulate the reliability-based EPS sizing as an integer nonlinear programming problem, where the reliability requirements are posed as constraints. Preliminary simulation validates the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

Autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) are efficient robotic tools, offering a wide range of applications in ocean exploration and research, such as oceanographic mapping, environmental monitoring, and archaeology. Incorporating an automatic object detection system with AUVs can substantially improve their ability to perceive and recognize objects in a complicated and often hazardous environment. Currently, detecting underwater objects relied on a man-in-the-loop approach, where AUVs captured vast amounts of data and saved them in memory for offline processing. This study investigates the use of deep learning for automatic image preprocessing and object detection, evaluating and comparing three state-of-the-art YOLO (You Only Look Once) models, including YOLOv8, YOLOv7, and YOLOv5. Extensive experiments were conducted using publicly available underwater image datasets, revealing that the pre-trained models attain superior performance on the Brackish dataset. YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 achieved the highest mean average precision (mAP) with a score of 99%, while YOLOv7 scored 89%. Furthermore, an underwater image enhancement algorithm is employed on the UrPC2021 dataset, significantly improving the detection accuracy with a 3% increase in mAP across all three models. In terms of inference speed, YOLOv5 demonstrated the highest frames per second (FPS), while maintaining comparable performance in mAP and recall. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper focuses on voltage-integral-based reference tracking modulation (VIrTM) and direct torque control (dTC), proposing the control strategy that minimizes switching frequency while achieving excellent dynamic performance. In the proposed scheme, the optimal voltage integral trajectory calculated by exhaustively searching all switching patterns in an offline process is applied to the dTC. One of the advantages of the proposed scheme is its superior versatility and robustness, as it does not rely on motor parameters. Secondly, it significantly reduces the switching frequency at all operating points while preserving the dynamic characteristics of dTC. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme has been validated through experiments, demonstrating up to a 28% reduction in switching frequency compared to conventional standard dTC.

Evolution of surface quality in micromilling Ti-6A1-4V alloy with increasing machined length

Micromilling is a subtractive manufacturing process that presents challenges due to scale effects and rapid tool wear. To understand the evolution of surface quality when increasing the machined length during the micromilling process, this study assessed the surface roughness, topography, and defects of slots micromilled on Ti-6A1-4V. For the experiments, 1 mm diameter flat end mills were employed, and the cutting parameters were varied using a full factorial design. Subsequently, the surface texture field parameter S a was assessed every 20 mm, up until the machining length of 260 mm. The analysed results led to the conclusion that, for the adopted set of parameters and the machining length of up to 260 mm, surface roughness was not significantly correlated to the machined length in the micromilling process of Ti-6A1-4V, as the Pearson coefficient, obtained from the correlation analysis, was -0.052. However, the surface roughness was mainly influenced by feed rate (Pearson coefficient of 0.82), with higher feed rates leading to roug surfaces (up to S a = 0.4 µm) duhere to the tool load increase that causes wider feed marks on the surface. regarding the feed marks, they were affected by the tool rotational frequency due to system vibration. Additionally, surface defects of adhered material, smearing, tearing and side flow were observed. For lower feeds, material adhesion was the main type of defect observed, while higher feed rates favoured the side flow phenomenon.

A Q(t) meter is used to measure electrical properties in insulating materials. Here, Q(t) is the integral value of circuit current with time t. It is possible to measure the Q(t) of the insulation material of a capacitor and a cable by using Q(t) meter. The current through an insulating material is divided into an instantaneous charging current, an absorption current and an equilibrium leakage current. It is considered that the absorption current is related to charge accumulation in the insulating materials. In this paper, an enameled wire (1.6 PEW) is used to prepare a cable sample, the Q(t) of the coated polyester (PEs) is measured, and extraction of absorption current components from measured Q(t) are reported. © 2023 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

This paper focuses on the stability of a current-controlled inverter (GFL type) with df/dt-type virtual inertia control. The authors analyze the dynamic characteristics compared to those of synchronous generators and demonstrate the existence of a second-order delay between the electrical frequency and the rotor’s rotational frequency in synchronous generators. Then, this second-order delay is implemented into the df/dt-type virtual inertia control as a second-order low-pass filter (LPF), and the influence of the LPF is investigated by EMT simulation.
