This study proposes a combination of fast and slow dithering in a ring laser gyroscope (rLG) and analyzes the related characteristics through numerical experiments. The results of this study are significant compared to the existing methods that use sinusoidal dithering with a single frequency component. The results show that the proposed method can contribute to developing new alternatives for improving rLG performance when high static lock-in frequencies are considered.

A chiplet is a die that is designed to be integrated with other chiplets in some type of advanced package. That package could be a system-in-package (SiP), 2.5d (planar or vertical), or 3d-IC. Nearly all chiplets in use today are being developed with some sort of standard interconnect or protocol and re-use them across multiple designs. Logic, memory, sensors, MEMS, mixed-signal, or any one of a variety of different functions can be developed as chiplets. And a 28nm chiplet may be placed next to, and work together with, a 5nm chiplet. The concept is basically to shrink a printed circuit board and put all the pieces into a much smaller space. That increasingly exceeds the size of a reticle, which 858mm² with EUV steppers, and 429mm² with high-NA EUV *** has been developing NPU (Neuromophic Processor Unit) to be integrated together with memory(HBM) or other chiplets by 2.5d Heterogeneous Integration technology. 2.5d Heterogeneous Integration package includes Fan-out based on rdL interposer. Two types of 2.5d package were considered according to the applications, like edge computing or data center computing, kind of more complicated application. The application of edge computing would be less performance compared to the application of data center computing. Then, its NPU needs to be interconnected with memory (HBM or ddr) directly while multi NPUs need to be integrated with memories by embedded bridge technology inside rdL interposer. In case of multi NPUs packaging with memories, Silicon bridges need to be embedded inside rdL interposer as a signal interconnection between NPU and memory or between NPU and ***, single NPU packaging with memory has been developed by applying rdL interposer technology in terms of edge computing application. Single NPU was integrated with two HBM3 on an rdL organic interposer which consists of multi rdL layers (over 6 layers without UBM and pad layer) with minimum line and space of 2 um. This primary goal of this study was to improve the accuracy of seismic identification of carbonate tidal channels and to achieve quantitative characterization of seismic facies. This paper is the first to present a co-training semi-supervised learning algorithm for use with seismic and drilling data to identify the sedimentary microfacies patterns of tidal channels within carbonate reservoirs. Co-training is a semi-supervised machine learning algorithm by which the feature dataset is split into two subsets, and a classifier is established for each feature subset. Each subset is re-trained based on the classification results of the other subset until the same classification results are obtained for most of the data in the two subsets. Taking the Mb1-3 subzone of the Mishrif Formation, West Qurna Oilfield-1 (Iraq) as an example, we employed zero-crossing-wrapping method to extract 18 seismic attributes of the target zone. The sliding window method was used to optimize 12 seismic attributes, and a hierarchical clustering algorithm based on correlation coefficients was used to group these seismic attributes. Using the two seismic attribute groups as feature data, we employed logistic regression, decision tree, and the k-nearest neighbor classifiers to conduct co-training semi-supervised learning for the classification and identification of tidal channels and lagoons. The results showed that the co-training semi-supervised learning algorithm improved the accuracy rate of each classifier, reduced background noise and clutter signals, and enhanced the continuity of the plane distribution of the tidal channel prediction results. In summary, the co-training semi-supervised learning algorithm significantly improved the efficiency of seismic facies identification of tidal channels. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Internal stress has emerged as a crucial factor in determining the lifetime of hydrogen permeation barrier coatings, as it influences the hydrogen isotope diffusion and crack propagation. Here, we fabricated carbon-doped TiZrN coatings under different laser outputs, and investigated the changes in hydrogen permeability due to carbon compound formation and internal stress induced by laser shock peening. Based on ToF-SIMS, the carbon penetration depth in the coating was confirmed to be up to 500 nm, depending on the laser output. Using XPS and raman analysis, it was confirmed that doped carbon substituted nitrogen sites in TiZrN, forming TiC and ZrC, and increasing carbide content from 4.1 % to 7.4 %. Notably, as the laser output increased from 30 % to 40 %, the sp2/sp3 ratio rose from 1.33 to 2.67, and the Id/IG ratio increased from 0.81 to 1.33, indicating the formation of an amorphous carbon-embedded (Ti, Zr)(C, N) structure. This was complemented by the transformation of the TEM-SAEd pattern from dot patterns to ring patterns. The internal stress in carbon-doped TiZrN coatings increased from 4.323 GPa before carburization to a maximum of 5.620 GPa. The increase in residual compressive stress led to a reduction in hydrogen permeability by up to 69 %, 57 %, and 24 % at 573 K, 673 K, and 773 K, respectively. This study advances the understanding of carbon compound formation and internal stress changes in TiZrN coatings under different laser output. It demonstrates that the formation of residual compressive stress due to laser shock peening significantly influences the hydrogen permeability by inhibiting hydrogen isotope diffusion and crack propagation within the coating. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

AI in the classroom instruction of languages an exciting potential effect that is altering teaching strategies and student involvement. Everything is simply achievable, including chatbots and natural-language processing (NLP) technology. Therefore, in order to verify the influence of AI on language acquisition, this study will evaluate the research, concentrating on programs like ChatGPT that provide individualized and engaged educational opportunities. Inversely, AI-driven chatbots that imitate real-world interactions, such as ChatGPT, supply very adaptable and accessible language training tools. Yet, forthcoming problems with correctness, societal prejudices, and the most suitable usage of AI stress their early promise. These demand that teachers and students improve their digital skills in order to use AI technology in a responsible and effective way. With a focus on present developments and potential futures, it highlights the crucial role artificial intelligence (AI) is playing in revolutionizing language teaching. © 2024 IEEE.

As an innovative thermal energy technology,the spray-type packed bed has advantages of high efficiency and low cost.A liquid distributor is the key component for the spray-type packed bed for scattering heat-transfer liquid drops *** this study,the distribution performance and pressure drop of the perforated plate distributors of different orifice diameters were studied *** experimental results indicate that orifice diameter has a greater effect on the distribution performance compared to flow *** an increase in flow rate,the flow pattern through the distributor changes from the uncovered drop to the covered drop and then to the jet *** covered drop pattern shows the best performance with a good distribution and a small pressure drop simultaneously,which is the design and optimization principle of the distributor for a spray-type packed bed.

The Aktobe project is the largest oil and gas producing area of PetroChina in Central Asia. However, after years of exploitation, the pressure of the reservoir has dropped, making it difficult to increase the production of a single well. Both the Kenkyak block and North Troyes block of the project have induced fractured leakage, and frequent leakage affects safe and efficient drilling and completion operations and production. Therefore, the research on leakage prevention and control technology is very necessary. This article focuses on the characteristics of the cracks in the high-pressure area of the Kenkyak block and the cracks in the low-pressure area of the North Troyes block. Aiming at the fracture characteristics of the high-pressure zone in the Kenkyak block and the low-pressure zone in North Troyes block, and taking advantage of the synergistic effect of supramolecules, a supramolecular plugging-while-drilling agent was developed based on the deformable fiber composite gel. It forms a strong adhesion plugging layer on the inner wall of the leakage channel through the strong adhesion force, and it achieves a good plugging effect. The 300-500md sand disc bearing pressure could reach 700psi when adding 3% agent, and the bearing pressure of 3-5d permeability sand disc could reach above 450psi. A supramolecular static plugging agent was also developed based on the dilatant gel. It is rich in strong shear reversible gel with supramolecular structure, which guarantees its pumpability and plugging performance. The effective rate of one-time plugging is over 80%, and the viscosity is greatly reduced after the gel is broken for 72hr, which benefits the reservoir protection. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. The optimal selection of drilling rigs is crucial for the rational arrangement of drilling rigs in multi operation teams, the improvement of moving operation management level, and the enhancement of drilling operation quality and efficiency. At present, the optimal selection of drilling rigs only considers whether the drilling meets the needs of the drilling project and the moving distance, and cannot comprehensively and scientifically select drilling rigs, which is not conducive to the rational configuration evaluation of oilfield drilling rig operation. This article comprehensively considers key indicators such as drilling efficiency, time efficiency, moving cycle, moving cost, and moving distance, innovatively forms a pentagonal drilling rig optimization coordinate system, establishes drilling rig optimization rate, comprehensive standard deviation, drilling rig optimization comprehensive standard deviation and other indicators, and forms a drilling rig optimization model for drilling. Taking Block B as an example, the priority of Block B with three drilling rigs to be optimized calculated using the model is ${\mathrm {r}}1\gt {\mathrm {r}}2\gt {\mathrm {r}}3$.The optimal selection rate of drilling r1 is the highest, the comprehensive standard deviation is smaller, and the comprehensive index of the best and more stable drilling performance is the highest, which is 0.0058. Therefore, r1 should be selected for drilling. The drilling rig optimization model proposed in this paper provides a process reference for drilling rig optimization, quantifies various indicators, and provides a theoretical basis for new well drilling rig optimization, project company drilling rig operation plan formulation, and improving project company drilling rig management level.

This paper presents the implementation of a PId pressure controller for a Positive Pressure Screening Cabinet (PPS Cabinet), designed to reduce the risk of COVId-19 transmission to healthcare personnel. The PPS Cabinet was designed, constructed, and tested to optimize internal pressure by adjusting the proportional (K_p), integral (K_i), and derivative (K_d) gains of the PId controller. In the experimental setup, the cabinet has a total volume of 2.88 m³. A PId controller integrated with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) receives a 0–10 V analog signal from a pressure transducer and is programmed using a standard PId algorithm. The K_p, K_i, and K_d values were determined using the Ziegler-Nichols tuning method. Testing scenarios included opening and closing the cabinet door, both with and without an airlock chamber. results indicate that the PId controller effectively regulates cabinet pressure, with optimal tuning values identified as K_p = 0.6, K_i = 0.4, and K_d = 0.4. While the PPS Cabinet without an airlock is deemed suitable for practical use, door opening causes a pressure drop below 0 Pa, posing a significant risk to healthcare workers. However, incorporating an airlock chamber maintains pressure above 0 Pa, thereby enhancing safety and reducing the likelihood of COVId-19 transmission to operators. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.
