To measure the global atmospheric three-dimensional distribution and change of temperature and humidity is one of the key areas in atmospheric remote sensing detection; it is also a new research and development direction in the field of meteorological satellite application. As a main element of China second generation of geostationary meteorological satellite Fengyun 4 （FY-4）, which was launched on dec. 11, 2016, the Geostationary Interferometric Infrared Sounder （GIIrS） is the first interferometric infrared sounder working on the international geostationary orbit. It is used for vertical atmospheric sounding and gains atmospheric temperature, humidity, and disturbances. The combination of Fourier transform spectrometer technology and infrared detectors makes GIIrS have high spectral resolution and large coverage over spatial areas. With this kind of instrument, meteoro- logical satellites can improve the capabilities for severe weather event monitoring and numerical weather prediction. Here a concise review of the GIIrS development project, including its history, missions and functions, technical design, key technologies, system integration, calibration and in-orbit operation status, etc., is presented.

In the platform of supervisory control system based on SOA, message bus provides the facilities of data exchange between different processes in different computers as an important middleware. With the continuous expansion of application scope and system scale, the quantity of data via message bus increases rapidly. It is urgent to improve the message bus performance to provide better quality of service. Furthermore, the new generation of supervisory control system carries out partitions according to the function or the region into cooperative subsystems for flexibility. Message bus needs to be redesigned to meet the new requirements. In this paper, the technologies of message bus involved in the platform of supervisory control system are studied. And a new version of message bus which is suitable to multi-subnet environment, is designed and implemented with cross-platform and high performance. Firstly, the paper describes the introduction of message bus in the platform of supervisory control system. Secondly, the target architecture is proposed by identifying the major limitation in current message bus and studying the requirements for new generation of the supervisory control system. Thirdly, the paper discusses the key technologies related to performance, reliability and QoS in message bus, and gives the mechanism of solution. Finally, subsystems and modules are analyzed in detail and the software is developed as well.

This paper describes the development and test of Ground Penetrating radar using 48 channel UWB impulse radar array for landmine detection. For getting high-resolution landmine images, a monocycle waveform having 600ps pulse width is applied. In order to analyze performances, we use representative soils of Korea and training landmines similar to landmines buried in the Korea's dMZ. The developed GPr system finds the estimation points with having a high possibility as landmines and provides top-view and down-track landmine images at these points. The test result of this system shows the clear differences between clutter images and landmine images. Therefore, we expect that this system can be applied for effectively removing landmines buried in Korea.

This paper describes the results of research on an extraction phenomenon of liquids occurring at an atmospheric region between the liquid surface and the electrode under an AC voltage with a sine wave in the range 0.5 to 100 Hz. The relationship between the applied voltage, current, attractive force and liquid behavior is examined for three working liquids with a different physical property. The liquid behavior is discussed analytically on the bases of the experimental data.

Novel molecules were designed against Staphylococcus aureus sortase A, an imperative and vital target involved in the bacterial virulence. Structure guided de novo designing was performed using different chemical fragments. These fragments were extended based on the requirements of the binding cavity. All the compounds in its binding orientation has formed good interaction network with amino acids HIS 120 and ArG 197. Molecules designed contain indole-chroman and indolin-chroman moieties and their docking scores were ranging from −6.92 to −5.67. designed molecules were selected for synthesis and tested in vitro against Staphylococcus aureus sortase A using Fluorescence resonance energy transfer assay. The highest active molecule KK4 (( Z )-3-((5-nitro-1 H -indol-3-yl) methylene) chroman-2,4‑dione) has IC 50 of 3.4 µM. This molecule with indole chroman moiety is suitable candidate that can be used as a prospective lead against Staphylococcus aureus sortase A.

Lead halide perovskite solar cells(PSCs) with remarkable power conversion efficiency have attracted tremendous attention in recent ***, there still exist lots of problems which are not completely understood, and further studies are ***, the hole-transport layer(HTL) dependence of the photovoltaic performance evolution of perovskite solar cells is investigated in *** found that the freshly prepared devices using pristine spiro-OMeTAd and Li-doped spiro-OMeTAd as HTLs always exhibited S-shaped J-V curves with poor fill factor(FF).The devices showed progressively improved FF and efficiencies when exposed to air, which is attributed to air-exposure induced conductivity improvement in spiro-OMeTAd *** introducing a cobalt salt dopant(FK209) into spiro-OMeTAd layer, the corresponding devices showed remarkable performance without the need of air *** results confirmed that the dopant not only increases the conductivity of spiro-OMeTAd layer, but also tunes the surface potential, and this helps to improve the charge transport and reduce the recombination loss.

We report the Ca substitution effect of the Fe-based superconductor EurbFe4As4 with 1144-type structure (crystal system: tetragonal, space group: P4/mmm (No. 123)), in order to elucidate the relationship between the superconductivity and the magnetic order. The lattice constant systematically changed with the Ca concentration x. By Ca-substitution, the magnetic order is suppressed, while T c is almost unchanged. The results indicate that the superconductivity of EurbFe4As4 is not sensitive to the magnetic order.

Identification of novel drug targets is a key component of modern drug discovery. While antimalarial targets are often identified through the mechanism of action studies on phenotypically derived inhibitors, this method tends to be time- and resource-consuming. The discoverable target space is also constrained by existing compound libraries and phenotypic assay conditions. Leveraging recent advances in protein structure prediction, we systematically assessed the genome and identified 867 candidate protein targets with evidence of small-molecule binding and blood-stage essentiality. Of these, 540 proteins showed strong essentiality evidence and lack inhibitors that have progressed to clinical trials. Expert review and rubric-based scoring of this subset based on additional criteria such as selectivity, structural information, and assay developability yielded 27 high-priority antimalarial target candidates. This study also provides a genome-wide data resource for and implements a generalizable framework for systematically evaluating and prioritizing novel pathogenic disease targets.
