A Seepage mathematical model for fractured wells of coalbed methane reservoirs and the corresponding pressure response feature

Coalbed fracturing is one of the important engineering and technical means of coalbed methane stimulation. To establish the seepage model of coalbed gas fracturing well is the key scientific problem to effectively evaluate the fracturing effect. Therefore, based on the micro pore structure of coalbed methane, this paper constructs the physical model of three porosity and two permeability, the mathematical model of seepage and the mathematical model of bottom hole pressure response, and analyzes the key factors affecting the dynamic response characteristics of pressure. The results show that diffusion coefficient, channeling coefficient, reservoir volume ratio and conductivity have different effects on the bottom hole pressure of the vertical well of three hole and two permeability fracturing. The results of this paper have certain guiding significance for the drainage and production capacity prediction of coalbed methane.

Members of the genus Bougainvillea are rich sources of natural dyes, pigments, and traditional medicines. They are also commonly used as ornamentals in roadside landscape construction. However, the horticultural development of Bougainvillea flowers with extended growth periods and coloration is not always feasible. One reason is limited molecular knowledge and no genomic information for Bougainvillea. Here, we compiled an expressed transcript sequence library for Bougainvillea by integrating 20 Illumina-sequencing rNA transcriptomes. The library consisted of 97,623 distinct transcripts. Of these, 47,006 were protein-coding, 31,109 were lncrNA, and 19,508 were unannotated. We also confirmed that the library is an alternative genomic reference for accurate transcriptome assembly and its performance was substantially better than that of the de novo method. We also curated the Integrative Transcript Library database for Bougainvillea known as InTransBo (http://***/InTransBo/***). To the best of our knowledge, the present study is the first large scale genomic resource for Bougainvillea. Overall, the library helps fill the genomic gap and elucidate the transcriptional nature of Bougainvillea. It may also advance progress in the precise regulation of flowering in horticulture. The same strategy can be readily applied toward the systematic exploration of other plant species lacking complete genomic information. © 2020, CC BY.

Sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate (NaOCl·5H2O) has recently become commercially available and is one of the promising oxidants for environmentally benign organic syntheses, because the postoxidation waste is "table salt" (NaCl). NaOCl·5H2O has succeeded in overcoming many disadvantages of the conventional aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite (aq. NaOCl, the concentration is up to 13%). NaOCl·5H2O contains 44% NaOCl and minimal amounts of sodium hydroxide and NaCl. The aq. NaOCl is prepared from NaOCl·5H2O and water, and has a lower pH value (ca. 11) than that of the conventional aq. NaOCl (ca. 13). NaOCl·5H2O is more stable than the conventional aq. NaOCl below 7°C. This review summarizes the organic synthetic reactions using NaOCl·5H2O. The oxidation of primary or secondary alcohols (including sterically-hindered alcohols) can be efficiently carried out by using NaOCl·5H2O in the presence of TEMPO (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-oxyl) and tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate as catalysts without pH adjustment. Even in the absence of catalysts, NaOCl·5H2O selectively oxidizes allylic, benzylic, and secondary alcohols using acetonitrile as the solvent. Aliphatic primary alcohols are hard to oxidize under this reaction condition. NaOCl·5H2O is applicable to glycol cleavage, and this reagent can easily cleave trans-cyclic glycols which are difficult to react with conventional "glycol cleavage" reagents. The oxidation of sulfides with an equimolar amount of NaOCl·5H2O in aqueous acetonitrile selectively produces the corresponding sulfoxides in high yields under a catalyst-free condition. Sulfones are efficiently obtained by the oxidation of sulfides with 2.4 eq. of aqueous NaOCl prepared from NaOCl·5H2O in toluene. This reaction is also catalyst-free. The reaction of disulfides or thiols with NaOCl·5H2O in acetic acid produces sulfonyl chloride. The reaction of NaOCl·5H2O with NaBr in acetic acid gives HOBr, and the resulting HOBr reacted with disulfides or thiols to a

Zeolites hold importance as catalysts and membranes across numerous industrial processes that produce most of the world's fuels and chemicals. In zeolite catalysis, the rate of molecular diffusion inside the micropore channels defines the catalyst's longevity and selectivity, thereby influencing the catalytic efficiency. decreasing the diffusion pathlengths of zeolites to the nanoscopic level by fabricating well-organized hierarchically porous architecture can efficiently overcome their intrinsic mass-transfer limitations without losing hydrothermal stability. We report a rational post-synthetic design for synthesizing hierarchically ordered FAU-type zeolites exhibiting 2d-hexagonal ( P6mm ) and 3d-cubic ( Ia d ) mesopore channels. The synthesis involves methodical incision of the parent zeolite into unit-cell level zeolitic fragments by in situ generated base and bulky surfactants. The micellar ensembles formed by these surfactant-zeolite interactions are subsequently reorganized into various ordered mesophases by tuning the micellar curvature with ion-specific interactions (Hofmeister effect). Unlike conventional crystallization, which offers poor control over mesophase formation due to kinetic constraints, crystalline mesostructures can be developed under dilute, mild alkaline conditions by controlled reassembly. The prepared zeolites with nanometric diffusion pathlengths have demonstrated excellent yields of naphtha and middle-distillates in vacuum gas oil hydrocracking with decreased coke deposition.

The presence of chlorine ions can accelerate the degradation of Au-Al wire bonds. The chlorine-containing particles and the city water used for cleaning inside the packaging line are the possible sources of chlorine ions. It is speculated that the water carrying chlorine ions intruded into the encapsulated devices and resulted in bonding pad corrosion during the reliability test (uHAST: 110°C/85%rH). The design variation of pads, including the layout and the deposition process, may be responsible for such high failure rate of reliability.

Passive daytime radiative cooling (PdrC) cools an object down by simultaneously reflecting sunlight and thermally radiating heat to the cold outer space through the Earth's atmospheric window. However, for practical applications, current PdrC materials are facing unprecedented challenges such as complicated and expensive fabrication approaches and performance degradation arising from surface contamination. Here, we develop scalable cellulose-fiber-based hierarchical composites with excellent self-cleaning and self-cooling capabilities, through air-spraying ethanolic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) microparticles suspensions embedded within the micropores of the cellulose fiber. The formed superhydrophobic PTFE coating not only protects the cellulose-fiber-based paper from water wetting and dust contamination for real-life applications but also reinforces its solar reflectance by sunlight backscattering. It results in a sub-ambient cooling performance of 5°C and radiative cooling power of 104 W/m2 under direct solar irradiance of 834 W/m2 and 671 W/m2, respectively. The self-cleaning surface of the hierarchical composites extends its lifespan and keep its good cooling performance for outdoor applications. Additionally, dyed cellulose-fiber-based paper can absorb appropriate visible wavelengths to display specific colors and effectively reflect near-infrared lights to reduce solar heating, which synchronously achieves effective radiative cooling and aesthetic varieties. © 2020, The Authors. The prospects of Electric Vehicles (EVs) have gained momentum due to the weakening of fossil fuels and the emergence of global warming issues. Moreover, highly energy-efficient vehicles have grown in stature due to the rapid progress made by power electronic equipment. It is a fact that the transportation sector consumes a sizable chunk of energy throughout the world. EVs are the solution for this problem as they reduce the radiation of greenhouse gases. Since one third of the EV cost is dependent on its battery, the batteries and the pricing structure have undergone several experiments. The causes and the availability of the energy sources, alternative energy sources, contemporary control methods for formulating policies of energy management, configurations of converting dC-dC in EV applications and the methods of charging EV in a smart environment are exhaustively reviewed in the present study. The study evaluates the challenges and benefits of implementing electric vehicle technology. The utility grid encompasses several alternative energy resources due to the speedy development of EV. Wireless power transfer with tuning capacitor compensation for electric vehicle applications

Nowadays, Electric Vehicles (EV) have a great advantage because of their environment-friendly nature. Charging of EV using Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) releases it from annoying wires. Based on the principle of inductive power transfer, the energy transfers from the primary coil to the secondary coil through loosely coupled coils. This paper presents a prototype design of the WPT system with a source, which is the grid. An ideal topology of a 6 kW system for EV wireless charging with Series-Parallel (SP) compensated tuning capacitors is designed. The SP capacitor compensation consists of tuning capacitors in both the primary and secondary side of power transmission. Maximum power transfer at the high-frequency resonant condition at the compensation mode is achieved by higher efficiency. The proposed system results are obtained and validated from the numerical analysis and simulated using Matlab/Simulink. Based on the block diagram representation and by state-space analysis, a more precise form of results is obtained - comparison of the four different compensation topologies showing the most significant form of SP capacitor compensation. This work reports an SiC-MOSFET which replaces a part of the channel resistance with an additional embedded resistance, called a source resistance (rs). MOSFETs with rs have higher resistance during short circuit compared with MOSFETs without rs and suppress short-circuit currents. An improvement of the trade-off relationship between short-circuit capability and on-resistance was obtained with MOSFETs including embedded rs. © 2018 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
