Convex Optimization-Based rotation Parameter Estimation Using Micro-doppler

We present a novel algorithm that can determine rotation-related parameters of a target using FMCW （frequency modulated continuous wave） radars, not utilizing inertia information of the target. More specifically, the proposed algorithm estimates the angular velocity vector of a target as a function of time, as well as the distances of scattering points in the wing tip from the rotation axis, just by analyzing doppler spectrograms obtained from three or more radars. The obtained parameter values will be useful to classify targets such as hostile warheads or missiles for real-time operation, or to analyze the trajectory of targets under test for the instrumentation radar operation. The proposed algorithm is based on the convex optimization to obtain the rotation-related parameters. The performance of the proposed algorithm is assessed through Monte Carlo simulations. Estimation performance of the proposed algorithm depends on the target and radar geometry and improves as the number of iterations of the convex optimization steps increases.

In this study, the current fluctuations were measured at the hydrothermal fields in the Okinawa Trough (Hatoma Knoll, Irabu Knoll, and Iheya North field) to characterize the fluid environment. The purpose of this study was to reveal the fluctuations of the deep-sea currents using an acoustic doppler current profiler (AdCP), and to correlate them with the development of a bottom mixed layer as predicted by a numerical model. An AdCP (Teledyne rd Instruments Workhorse Sentinel, 300 kHz) was installed on the seabed at the Hatoma Knoll (depth about 1500 m), Irabu Knoll (depth about 2000 m), and Iheya North field (depth about 1000 m). For each observation point, the deep-sea current data were successfully recovered in the layer at depths between the seafloor and 40-60 m above the seafloor. Notably, the measurement results obtained at the Hatoma Knoll and Iheya North field showed a remarkably interesting fluctuation. during a time period of approximately 3 h, the range in the depths at which the currents were successfully recorded increased in a pulse form, up to around the upper layer at 120 m, allowing measurements in almost all of the layers. The time period of this pulse corresponded to the shift from an ebb tide to high tide. With the exception of these pulses, the currents could only be recorded from the seafloor to about a 40 m layer. This result indicated that a suitable environment for AdCP measurements was formed only within this range. To investigate the cause, a numerical model experiment was performed for the bottom turbulence and subsequent occurrence of vertical mixing of the suspended particulate matter in the Okinawa Trough using a large-eddy simulation (LES) model. The simulated results suggested that the semidiurnal tide periodically enhances the bottom turbulence at intervals of approximately 6 h, with the result that the bottom mixed layer thickness increases to a maximum of approximately 40-60 m. Organic-inorganic halide perovskite possess excellent chemical,optical,and electronic properties that make them attractive for next-generation solar ***-based（FA-based） perovskite has been demonstrated to have improved thermal stability and broadened absorption region compared to methylammonium-based（MA-based） *** important target for the further improvement of perovskite-based solar cell is to eliminate or reduce the use of heavy metal ***,we show that high performance perovskite solar cell with improved light harvesting and stability could be achieved by partially replacing Pb with *** Pb FA-based perovskites tend to convert to yellow nonperovskite phase upon exposure to atmosphere,while pure Sn FA-based perovskites exhibit very poor stability due to the oxidization of Sn to *** systematically investigated the performance of FAPbSnI mixed metal halide *** the Pb cation was substituted by 30 mol% of Sn cation,the annealed sample adopts the pseudocubic tetragonal P4 mm structure instead of trigonal p63 mc structure,which could be used to explain the narrowing of the ***,the addition of Sn led to the stabilization of the perovskite phase and a low temperature of 100 ℃ is enough to result in formation of perovskite *** PCE of the solar cells fabricated in this study exhibits a value of over 10% at x=0.5,owing to the improved light harvesting in spite of the reduced open *** more Sn was added,the device performance gradually deteriorates.

Phenylene-gallosilicates were prepared with the same crystalline structure as their aluminum analogues. The new Ga-Eni Carbon Silicates(Ga-ECS) phases were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance and thermogravimetric analysis, which demonstrated that gallium isomorphously replaced aluminum in the framework of the organic-inorganic hybrids similar to the case of classical zeolites. Hybrid ECS materials were obtained with different types of bridged silsesquioxane precursors that maintained the aluminum-silicate nature of the inorganic moiety. This work confirms a new level of crystal chemistry versatility for this class of materials, and demonstrates the possibility to tailor also the inorganic part of the framework by changing the nature of the trivalent heteroatom.

We report flexible ZnO thin film transistors (TFTs) fabricated on 5 μm thick solution-cast polyimide substrate. Plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALd) was used to deposit Al 2 O 3 dielectric and ZnO active layers respectively. The highest processing temperature was 200 °C. The flexible ZnO TFTs we fabricated have very similar characteristics to devices fabricated on glass substrates. Typical TFT mobility was greater than 12 cm2/V·s for a gate electric field of 2 MV/cm. Simple mechanical releasing can be used to detach the polyimide substrate from the rigid carrier. device performance showed almost no degradation after releasing. repeated bending test using homemade roller-flex testing apparatus was conducted. The flexible ZnO TFTs were repeatedly bent and flattened to a minimum radius of 1.6 mm for more than 10,000 cycles with little change in device characteristics. These results demonstrated solution-cast thin polymeric film as a simple but profound path to oxide semiconductor flexible electronics.

Biogas recovery from heat treated sludge liquor was tested by a 4 m^(3)mesophilic expanded granular sludge bed(EGSB)reactor within 206 *** pilot experiment,the heat pretreatment effects on hydrolysis and biogas production potential on three sludges from different wastewater plants were evaluated using bench *** of these sludges was used in the subsequent pilot heat treatment and EGSB *** biogas conversion potential of this sludge filtrate was 79%.Seeded with granular sludge,the EGSB reactor could be quickly activated and adapted to the new filtrate *** EGSB influent COd was 20.0-35.0 g/L,and the effluent COd was lower than 10.0 g/*** COd removal rate was 60%-70%at an organic loading rate(OLr)of 10.0 kg COd/(m^(3)·d).The fresh supernatant with low pH resulted in the high biogas production in *** effluent with high nitrogen and phosphor should be considered for further treatment.
