There are several chip-to-substrate interconnection technologies in the packaging tool kit such as mass reflow (Mr), thermocompression bonding (TCB) and laser assisted bonding (LAB). Mr is a mature process but has known limitations on fine pitch devices and large/thin substrate packages. TCB has the advantage to minimize bump stress for low-K dielectric devices but its productivity is very low. However, LAB can provide a solution for advanced devices with its localized heating and short bonding time. recently, demand for fine-pitch, Flip Chip bumps and large/thin substrate packages has increased, resulting in industry interest in LAB due to its good quality and high productivity. Amkor technology invented LAB technology in 2014 and passed qualification for multiple devices from customers through many years of development and has been in high volume production for major customers since 2018. However, as the industry continues to require high bonding performance with various new devices, existing LAB technology may not support all these applications. These devices have led to the development of a new bonding concept, which is reverse laser assisted bonding (r-LAB) technology. r-LAB emits the laser to the bottom side of the substrate through a vacuum stage block, which is opposite laser emission direction to existing LAB. It was developed in 2021 by Amkor technology and showed promising results for the packages where top LAB does not work. There are several devices that require r-LAB. One is back side metallization (BSM) die. BSM dies are necessary for metal thermal interface material (TIM) applications for high thermal performance packages. Promising results for BSM die were published in recent 72 nd ECTC [1]. Other devices that require r-LAB include chiplet module bonding on substrate and drAM packaging in an epoxy molding compound (EMC). depleted-reservoirs underground gas storage are playing an increasingly important role in seasonal demanding of natural gas, ensuring stable gas supply and strategic reserves. However, due to the physical properties of the reservoir, the problem of sand production in the wellbore cannot be ignored. This research is based on the high-pressure sand production experiment simulation device system. Using the in-situ core, through experiments to simulate the sand production of the high-pressure gas storage reservoir, the sand production is systematically and quantitatively studied. The experimental results show that there are two key pressures for sand production caused by the destruction of the inner wall of the wellbore, namely, the equivalent initial sand production pressure (critical confining pressure) and the strength of the thick-walled barrel (collapse pressure). After the confining pressure exceeds the equivalent initial sand production pressure, the core begins to produce sand, and the sand has a relatively smaller particle size. The sand production is found to increases linearly with the equivalent confining pressure. After the confining pressure exceeds the strength of the thick-walled barrel, the core body is damaged and a large amount of sand is produced. The sand body has a relatively large particle size. The particle size distribution indicates the increase of sand particle size during the sand production of the gas storage well. This experiment provides guidance for the operation and completion of gas storage in depleted oil reservoirs, and also provides a quantitatively experimental method for the study of wellbore sand production. © 2022 ArMA, American rock Mechanics Association.

recent years, with the introduction of 5th generation mobile communication networks, bursty traffic and upstream traffic characteristics have changed significantly. The deployment of small cells and passive optical networks for highspeed broadband services are considered. Passive optical network technology can apply to multiplex many small cells. The authors have proposed BCOM as a bandwidth control scheme for uplink traffic and have carried out bandwidth allocation, assuming the case where mobile vehicles pass according to schedule. In this paper, BCOMs evaluate assuming that mobile vehicles do not arrive on schedule.

In this work, conducted by three partners, UFAM/CETELI, INdT and Envision (TPV Group), we present a system for modeling and sensing data acquired from various machines, including both legacy and modern types, in industrial environments. This approach involves monitoring the on-off state of machines to gather information about their operation on the production line. The results show the successful implementation of the system, highlighting its potential application in predictive maintenance solutions within the context of Industry 4.0.

This paper, conducted by three partners, UFAM/CETELI, INdT and Envision (TPV Group), presents a data collection architecture with WISE-2410 and ITE11LI sensors, focusing on LoraWAN configurations, and distance tests. The architecture integrates Lora radio, MQTT, and microservices with an ITG201 outdoor gateway. results show accurate network setup, reliable reconnections, strong signal levels, improved device stability, and transmission efficiency. The study demonstrates a robust framework for reliable data collection in diverse applications.

Tight oil has become a new growth point for global oil and gas reserves and production. Conventional tight oil reservoirs are mainly developed in depletion mode, and water flooding cannot effectively supplement formation energy. CO2 has strong advantages in terms of elasticity, mutual solubility with crude oil, etc., and is considered to be an effective way to supplement energy. At present, staged fracturing of horizontal wells has gradually become the main development method for tight oil reservoirs, but it still fails to meet production requirements. In this paper, taking the Chang 8 tight oil reservoir in the Ordos Basin as an example, it is the first time to use a combination of physical simulation and numerical simulation, and use an original large-scale physical simulation experiment system to focus on the impact of fractures on the CO2 huff-n-puff effect of staged fractured horizontal wells in tight oil reservoirs. Through the original large-scale physical simulation experiment system (which can simulate a 50 * 50 * 6 cm core), using a combination of physical simulation and numerical simulation to analyze the impact of fractures on the CO2 huff-n-puff effect of horizontal wells with staged fracturing. Studies have shown that fracture length and fracture density are the main controlling factors that affect the CO2 huff-n-puff effect of staged fracturing horizontal wells, and reasonable fracture parameters are the key to improving development efficiency. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Osteochondral defects (OCd) are common but difficult to heal due to the low intrinsic repair capacity of cartilage and its complex hierarchical structure. In osteoarthritis (OA), OCd become more challenging to repair as both cartilage and subchondral bone regeneration are further impaired due to the arthritic environment. Numerous biomaterials have been developed and tested in osteochondral defects while ignoring the inflammatory environment. To target this challenging underlying pathophysiology, we designed and fabricated a biphasic porous and degradable scaffold incorporating anti-inflammatory and anabolic molecules by low-temperature rapid prototyping technology, and its effects on promoting osteochondral regeneration were evaluated using our well-established OA-OCd rabbit model. The biphasic porous scaffolds consisted of poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) with kartogenin (KGN) for cartilage repair and PLGA and β-calcium phosphate (PLGA/β-TCP) with cinnamaldehyde (CIN) for subchondral bone repair. KGN is a molecule for promoting chondrogenesis and CIN is a phytomolecule for enhancing osteogenesis and alleviating inflammation. The biphasic scaffolds PLGA/KGN-PLGA/β-TCP/CIN (PK/PTC) with bio-mimic structure provided stable mechanical properties and exhibited excellent biocompatibility to support cell adhesion, proliferation, migration, and distribution. Furthermore, KGN and CIN within biphasic scaffolds could be released in a controlled and sustained mode, and the biphasic scaffold degraded slowly in vitro . Evaluating the repair of 16-weeks post-implantation into critically sized OA-OCd rabbit models revealed that the biphasic scaffold could promote subchondral bone and cartilage regeneration, as well as reverse subchondral osteosclerosis caused by inflammation in vivo . These findings support the utilization of the PK/PTC scaffold for osteochondral regeneration and provide a promising potential strategy for clinical application for the treatment of patients with

High-entropy alloy HEA (CrFeCoNi) was reinforced with variety of weight percentages of 5:20 wt.% WC particles. The alloy samples were mechanically prepared in a ball roll mill for 25 h by 10:1 ball to powder ratio at 180 rpm. Then WC was mixed with the prepared alloys in a high-speed ball mill for 1 h by 350 rpm under a controlled atmosphere. The mixed samples were compacted by a uniaxial press under 700 MPa and then sintered at 1200 °C for 90 min under air atmosphere. The corrosion behavior of the tested samples in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution was investigated using electrochemical polarization measurements. The microstructure of the sintered samples with high relative density showed three phases, which were FCC matrix, W-rich carbide, and Cr-rich carbide and homogeneously distributed all over the alloy matrix. The hardness of the (CrFeCoNi)1-X (WC)X HEAs was increased gradually with the increasing of WC content from about 336.41 HV up to 632.48 HV at room temperature. The results indicated that the addition of WC improves the corrosion resistance. Especially, the 20 wt.% of WC addition remarkably enhanced the comprehensive corrosion resistance and easy passivation of (CrFeCoNi)1-X(WC)X HEAs. Also, the wear rate of 0 wt.% WC HEA is (1.70E-04) which is approximately 4.5 times higher than the wear rate of 20 wt.% WC HEA (3.81E-05);this means that wear resistance is significantly improved with the increase of WC content. © 2022, The Author(s).
