In this paper, we describe the roaming service with mobile IP between public WLAN and cdma2000 1x design, and show the implementation in SK Telecom cellular network. In terms of network configuration, the coverage of public WLAN network is overlapped with that of cellular network. In this configuration, mobile terminal will decide the access system among the available systems. We propose the roaming method based on measuring the power of WLAN signal in heterogeneous network environments, and implement it. In order to confirm the effectiveness of ourroaming method, we apply our proposed solution to both seamless roaming service and VOd streaming service.

Photosensitive carbon nanotube (CNT) paste was synthesized with spin on glass (SOG) as inorganic binder. The field emission characteristics of this CNT paste was studied. CNT field emitter arrays (FEAs) was then fabricated using screen-printing method, photolithography and vacuum-in-line sealing technology. It is concluded that the diode type FEA using CNT paste with SOG can be used for lighting system applications such as the back light unit in TFT-LCd.

We demonstrate highly manufacturable sub-50 nm MBCFET with the I/sub on/ of 4.26 mA/ /spl mu/m at V/sub dd/ = 1.2V, which is the best performance everreported. This excellent performance of the MBCFET is resulted from the vertically stacked channels and enhanced mobility. It has been fabricated on bulk Si substrate by using the multiple epitaxial growth of SiGe/Si/SiGe/Si layers anddamascene gate process. It has structural and electrical merits in scaling and process integration.

A new test structure to directly measure the junction leakage current between the channel and source/drain region is developed with partially-insulated structure. Si/SiGe epitaxial growth and selective SiGe etch process are used to form PiOX (Partially-Insulating OXide) under source anddrain. With this structure, the junction leakage current between source/drain and substrate is diminished and the leakage current component from channel region and source/drain is easily measured.
