Universities can employ information technology as one means of achieving their goals and objectives. Universities can get advantages from information technology, such as effective resource management and information management for decision-making. However, don't forget that the campus must consider what technology is appropriate to assist them achieve their goals, particularly in the current industrial era 4.0 where technology is available with many different choices. The campus requires an enterprise architecture in order to design, manage, and coordinate information technology infrastructure, applications, and processes strategically and thoroughly. The adoption of enterprise information system architecture (EA) is also intended to improve the quality of services provided to internal and external stakeholders. In this case, Enterprise Architecture can help an organization to match its information technology resources with business processes and strategies to achieve their goals. This research was conducted using TOGAF ADM, also known as the Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method. This method offers best practices for creating enterprise architecture and emphasizes several steps that include creating an architectural vision, information systems, business architecture modeling to help XYZ campus manage all their information technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Sport action recognition is an interesting area in computer vision. Categorization of sport actions, representing difficult and complex body postures, is regarded as a fine-grained visual classification problem. The Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have attained enhanced performance over conventional feature descriptors in recognizing various sport activities. In general, though decent improvement has been gained using deep learning for sport action recognition, however, recognition of women’s sport activities is not widely explored. Even, no benchmark dataset depicting women’s sport action with sufficient variations is available yet for study. Hence, fine-grained image classification of diverse sport categories involving female/women athletics requires immediate research attention. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes an image dataset comprising worldwide popular 50 sport categories of women players only. A simple deep learning model is proposed that extracts the high-level deep features using a backbone CNN. Then, these features are pooled from a collection of regular regions representing local discriminative information. The spatial pyramid pooling is applied for mining semantic information and enhancing feature aggregation for classification. The proposed method has achieved satisfactory performance on the Women Sports dataset using four standard backbone CNNs. Moreover, our method has achieved better accuracy on the Yoga-82 pose recognition dataset with a significant margin, e.g., 11.6% gain using ResNet-50 base CNN. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Recently,there has been an upsurge of activity in image-based non-photorealistic rendering(NPR),and in particular portrait image stylisation,due to the advent of neural style transfer(NST).However,the state of performance evaluation in this field is poor,especially compared to the norms in the computer vision and machine learning ***,the task of evaluating image stylisation is thus far not well defined,since it involves subjective,perceptual,and aesthetic *** make progress towards a solution,this paper proposes a new structured,threelevel,benchmark dataset for the evaluation of stylised portrait *** criteria were used for its construction,and its consistency was validated by user ***,a new methodology has been developed for evaluating portrait stylisation algorithms,which makes use of the different benchmark levels as well as annotations provided by user studies regarding the characteristics of the *** perform evaluation for a wide variety of image stylisation methods(both portrait-specific and general purpose,and also both traditional NPR approaches and NST)using the new benchmark dataset.

Bike-sharing systems (BSSs) have become commonplace in most cities worldwide as an important part of many smart cities. These systems generate a continuous amount of large data volumes. The effectiveness of these BSS systems depends on making decisions at the proper time. Thus, there is a vital need to build predictive models on the BSS data for the sake of improving the process of decision-making. The overwhelming majority of BSS users register before utilizing the service. Thus, several BSSs have prior knowledge of the user’s data, such as age, gender, and other relevant details. Several machine learning and deep learning models, for instance, are used to predict urban flows, trip duration, and other factors. The standard practice for these models is to train on the entire dataset to build a predictive model, whereas the biking patterns of various users are intuitively distinct. For instance, the user’s age influences the duration of a trip. This endeavor was motivated by the existence of distinct user patterns. In this work, we proposed divide-and-train, a new method for training predictive models on station-based BSS datasets by dividing the original datasets on the values of a given dataset attribute. Then, the proposed method was validated on different machine learning and deep learning models. All employed models were trained on both the complete and split datasets. The enhancements made to the evaluation metric were then reported. Results demonstrated that the proposed method outperformed the conventional training approach. Specifically, the root mean squared error (RMSE) and mean absolute error (MAE) metrics have shown improvements in both trip duration and distance prediction, with an average accuracy of 85% across the divided sub-datasets for the best performing model, i.e., random forest. © 2024 the Author(s).

With the increase in the Telecom industry, service providers are more attentive toward the action of becoming larger or more extensive to the subscriber base. For surviving in telecom companies, the continued possession of holding customers must be a big challenge. According to consideration in the telecom environment, the market price of obtaining the new purchaser is more than holding the existing purchaser. Through collecting knowledge from the telecom industry to analyze the association of the customer whether will leave or not the company. Such types of the Decision tree and Logistic regression model have been compared on the 3334 instances of the dataset. The classification model derived from logistic regression has an accuracy of 80% and the decision tree classifier with an accuracy of 97%. © 2023 IEEE.

The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is significantly transforming the landscape of future networking. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technological paradigm that encompasses embedded systems, wireless sensors, and automation, facilitating the integration of various applications ranging from smart homes to wearable devices. In addition, the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) amplifies this influence by providing data-driven analytics, optimising processes, and presenting novel opportunities for growth. Nevertheless, the widespread adoption of devices within Internet of Things (IoT) networks gives rise to apprehensions regarding increased energy consumption. In order to ensure the longevity of network operations, it is imperative to employ energy-efficient protocols for sensor nodes that possess limited power resources. One example of a protocol that demonstrates this concept is the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol. This protocol effectively divides networks into clusters and dynamically adjusts the cluster heads to optimise the transmission of data to the base stations. Our study enhances the LEACH protocol by incorporating digital twin simulation, thereby enhancing the efficiency of IoT systems. Virtual network models and AI analytics are employed to assess energy consumption and performance. Cache nodes play a crucial role within this framework as they collect data from cluster heads in order to transmit it to the base station. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and simulation techniques, we are able to improve the energy efficiency and reliability of the Internet of Things (IoT) systems. The findings indicate a significant reduction of 83% in non-functioning nodes and a notable increase of 1.66 times in energy levels of nodes compared to conventional approaches. Heart disease problems are growing day by day in the world. Many factors are responsible for increasing the chance of heart attack and any other disease. Many countries have a low level of cardiovascular competence in predicting heart disease-related issues. Finding the best accurate machine learning classifiers for various diagnostic uses by data mining and machine learning techniques aids in predicting whether or not the heart disease-related issue will occur. To predict heart disease, a number of supervised machine-learning algorithms are used and their effectiveness are evaluated. With the exceptionof MLP and KNN, all applied algorithms had their estimated feature significance scores for each feature. This helps to find the main factors affecting heart disease and the accuracy of the model, which helps to get the best prediction. At the end of the research the support vector machine gives us 87.91 % highest testing accuracy compare with all applied machine learning algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

Blockchain introduction has made a revolutionary change in the crypto currency around the world but it has not delivered on its promises of free and faster transaction confirmation. Serguei Popov's proposal of using tangles, a directed acyclic graph, which essentially is considered to be the successor of blockchains and offers the required features like machine to machine micro payment and fee-less transaction. It requires the user to approve the previous two transactions in the web to participate in the network. This essentially eliminates the miners and the mining part form the currency exchange and provides the user or participants to do their transactions fee-less. Since the participant verifies the previous two transactions it also contributes to the security of the tangle. In this paper, features of internet of things application (IOTA) and all the improvements in it using tangles are discussed along with how it contributed to the security and how it enables the participants to have fee-less transactions is also discussed. Post-stroke rehabilitation of upper extremity (UE) motor function is essential. Despite the widespread use of UE rehabilitation in clinical settings, assessing the success of these treatments is challenging. Methods for evaluating UE motor function include task performance under clinical supervision, patient self-reports, and data analysis from wearable devices equipped with accelerometers and gyroscopes. In prior research, we demonstrated that machine learning and deep learning models using data from a single wrist-worn accelerometer sensor could accurately differentiate between functional and non-functional UE movements in stroke patients. To overcome the limitations of single wrist-worn accelerometer sensors - challenges in capturing the full context of functional movements - this study presents a new deep learning (DL) based framework designed to classify functional and non-functional arm movements in videos captured from a conventional camera. The system is entirely automated and comprises two DL networks. The first network performs human pose estimation, extracting 2D pose key points of the paretic arm(s) and torso on 2-second sequences of the frames. The second network then uses these 2D pose landmarks to classify the movement sequence as functional or non-functional. This system offers two key benefits for rehabilitation. First, it can automatically generate initial annotations for video frames, significantly reducing the time needed for manual labeling. Second, analyzing the effectiveness of UE rehabilitation through third-person videos allows for objective outcome measurement of UE treatments in stroke survivors' home environments. © 2024 IEEE.
