MLRT-UNet:An Efficient Multi-Level Relation Transformer Based U-Net for Thyroid Nodule Segmentation

Thyroid nodules,a common disorder in the endocrine system,require accurate segmentation in ultrasound images for effective diagnosis and ***,achieving precise segmentation remains a challenge due to various factors,including scattering noise,low contrast,and limited resolution in ultrasound *** existing segmentation models have made progress,they still suffer from several limitations,such as high error rates,low generalizability,overfitting,limited feature learning capability,*** address these challenges,this paper proposes a Multi-level Relation Transformer-based U-Net(MLRT-UNet)to improve thyroid nodule *** MLRTUNet leverages a novel Relation Transformer,which processes images at multiple scales,overcoming the limitations of traditional encoding *** transformer integrates both local and global features effectively through selfattention and cross-attention units,capturing intricate relationships within the *** approach also introduces a Co-operative Transformer Fusion(CTF)module to combine multi-scale features from different encoding layers,enhancing the model’s ability to capture complex patterns in the ***,the Relation Transformer block enhances long-distance dependencies during the decoding process,improving segmentation *** results showthat the MLRT-UNet achieves high segmentation accuracy,reaching 98.2% on the Digital Database Thyroid Image(DDT)dataset,97.8% on the Thyroid Nodule 3493(TG3K)dataset,and 98.2% on the Thyroid Nodule3K(TN3K)*** findings demonstrate that the proposed method significantly enhances the accuracy of thyroid nodule segmentation,addressing the limitations of existing models.

Optimizing Image Retrieval in Cloud Servers with TN-AGW: A Secure and Efficient Approach

The increasing use of cloud-based image storage and retrieval systems has made ensuring security and efficiency crucial. The security enhancement of image retrieval and image archival in cloud computing has received considerable attention in transmitting data and ensuring data confidentiality among cloud servers and users. Various traditional image retrieval techniques regarding security have developed in recent years but they do not apply to large-scale environments. This paper introduces a new approach called Triple network-based adaptive grey wolf (TN-AGW) to address these challenges. The TN-AGW framework combines the adaptability of the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm with the resilience of Triple Network (TN) to enhance image retrieval in cloud servers while maintaining robust security measures. By using adaptive mechanisms, TN-AGW dynamically adjusts its parameters to improve the efficiency of image retrieval processes, reducing latency and utilization of resources. However, the image retrieval process is efficiently performed by a triple network and the parameters employed in the network are optimized by Adaptive Grey Wolf (AGW) optimization. Imputation of missing values, Min–Max normalization, and Z-score standardization processes are used to preprocess the images. The image extraction process is undertaken by a modified convolutional neural network (MCNN) approach. Moreover, input images are taken from datasets such as the Landsat 8 dataset and the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) dataset is employed for image retrieval. Further, the performance such as accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, F1-score, and false alarm rate (FAR) is evaluated, the value of accuracy reaches 98.1%, the precision of 97.2%, recall of 96.1%, and specificity of 917.2% respectively. Also, the convergence speed is enhanced in this TN-AGW approach. Therefore, the proposed TN-AGW approach achieves greater efficiency in image retrieving than other existing

With rapidly expanding cloud-enabled big data environments, there is an imperative need for efficient data-sharing mechanisms that are multidimensional and balance both speed and security. In this connection, high-speed compression and secure authentication come forth playing a very crucial role. The two significant challenges addressed in this framework are data compression for efficient storage and transmission and robust authentication for secure access and integrity of shared data. This way, the framework compresses data size significantly without losing its quality, leading to efficient, faster data transfers and reduced considerably storage costs on cloud infrastructures. At the same time, secure authentication mechanisms [1] such as cryptography techniques and multi-factor authentication ensure that only authorized users access sensitive data, thus protected from potential unauthorized access or cyber-attacks. Integration of both capabilities speed compression and secure authentication-functionalizes big data environments to their peak performance and security. This framework is highly suitable for high-scale data-oriented industries like healthcare, finance, and IoT, which necessitate high-speed, secure, and reliable data sharing. Ultimately, this approach improves scalability and security in cloud-enabled big data systems by enabling organizations to keep pace with growing needs for highly efficient and secure data sharing in a highly dynamic environment. © 2025 IEEE.

The industrial world focuses on developing eco-friendly, natural fibres such as reinforcing lightweight, inexpensive compounds in modern days. Basalt, a rare phenomenon, derives its origins from molten volcanic rocks, which is essential for their cost-effectiveness and offers different glass fibre properties. High mechanical strength, outstanding wear resistance, and exceptional durability in a variety of environmental conditions are all displayed by basalt fibres. These fibres are ideal for reinforcing polymer composites because of their mechanical properties at high temperatures. Furthermore, basalt fibres are appropriate for long-term applications because they resist corrosion and degradation while maintaining structural integrity over time. This article provides a brief overview of basalt fibres as a substitute for glass fibres and as composite materials. Additionally, attempts are being made to draw attention to the expanding field of basalt fibre research. In the review, studies conclude by discussing the evolution of mechanical properties derived from the industrial use of reinforced basalt fibre compounds. © 2025 SAE International.

This work reviews recent advances in NLP-based methods for automatic text summarization, with a focus on how they might be used to summarize lengthy research publications. In light of the exponential rise of textual material, systems that can generate succinct and insightful summaries must be developed to enhance information retrieval and lessen the strain of manual reading. It will review techniques that include extractive summary, in which key phrases are removed from the source text, and abstractive summarizing, where the main concepts are formed into new sentences. It contains some excellent techniques, including graph-based approaches, transformer models (BERT, GPT, and T5), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), and hybrid models. Managing domain-specific terminology, maintaining coherence for longer articles, and obtaining computationally effective summarization are some special challenges Metrics of evaluation comprise ROUGE, BLEU, and F1 score. This survey intends to provide a more comprehensive review of present approaches, identify research gaps, and outline possible directions towards the future in order to accelerate the field of artificial text summarization

As a result of the growth of the internet, Information was digitalized as files and documents. Information retrieval is the process of obtaining the required documents from vast databases. As the number of documents multiplies every five years, It is crucial to retrieve information effectively. Therefore, automatic indexing of documents is necessary for efficient information retrieval. In this research, an unsupervised model using genism was introduced to solve the problem. However, in the related work, the challenges of Information retrieval such as classification of similar documents, extraction of keywords, scientific documents clustering and evaluating the similarity are addressed using Natural Language Methods. The research provides an unsupervised model using genism to rank the documents based on the user query. The proposed model preprocesses the documents, generates the similarity score according to the user's query and ranks the documents based on the similarity score. The proposed methodology makes it easier to quickly retrieve the relevant documents based on the user's needs. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, we collected the documents from different domains on the internet. The proposed method obtains comparatively more relevant documents than the traditional methods.

A set of communication protocols that allows interconnected devices on the internet to communicate with each other. A proposed IHM-FMP model integrates Messenger Chat bot functionality and Platform as a Service (PaaS) architecture for efficient home automation and security. Utilizing hardware components like Raspberry Pi, relay modules, and sensors, along with TCP/IP protocol for internet connectivity, the system enables remote control of home appliances and security features. Through Messenger Chat bot integration, users can easily command devices via Facebook Messenger, enhancing accessibility. The PaaS method ensures control with layers for remote access and management. Experimental results demonstrate the model's superiority in network throughput, delay, routing overhead, transmission accuracy, and energy efficiency compared to existing techniques. This holistic approach to home automation and security offers convenience, accessibility, and robust performance, making it an effective solution for modern households. © 2025 IEEE.
