A typical G-phase strengthened ferritic model alloy(1Ti:Fe-20Cr-3Ni-1Ti-3Si,wt.%)has been carefully studied using both advanced experimental(EBSD,TEM and APT)and theoretical(DFT)*** the classic“solid solution and aging”process,the superfine(Fe,Ni)_(2)TiSi-L2_(1)particles densely precipitate within the ferritic grain and subsequently transform into the(Ni,Fe)_(16)Ti_(6)Si_(7)-G *** the meanwhile,the elemental segregation at grain boundaries and the resulting precipitation of a large amount of the(Ni,Fe)_(16)Ti_(6)Si_(7)-G phase are also *** nanoscale microstructural evolutions result in a remarkable increase in hardness(100-300 HV)and severe *** the“cold rolling and aging”process is used,the brittle fracture is effectively suppressed without loss of nano-precipitation strengthening *** yield strength of 1700 MPa with 4%elongation at break is *** key improvement in mechanical properties is mainly attributed to the pre-cold rolling process which effectively avoids the dense precipitation of the G-phase at the grain *** findings could shed light on the further exploration of the precipitation site via optimal processing strategies.

An improved approach for constrained large-eddy simulations(CLES)of wall-bounded compressible transitional flows is proposed by introducing an intermittency *** improved model is tested and validated with compressible channel flows at various Mach numbers and Reynolds numbers that are transitioning from laminar to turbulent *** improved model is compared against traditional dynamic Smagorinsky model(DSM)and Direct Numerical Simulations(DNS),where the improved model is in better agreement with DNS results than traditional DSM model,in terms of mean velocity profiles,total Reynolds stress and total heat ***,the proposed method can be used to accurately predict the temporal laminar-turbulent transition process of compressible wall-bounded flows.

Task scheduling has a significant impact on the resource availability and operation cost of the system in cloud computing. In order to improve the efficiency of task execution in the cloud for a given computational resource, the improved whale optimization algorithm is applied to the multi-objective optimization model for cloud task scheduling. Specifically, the quasi-opposition-based learning strategy is added in the initiation phase to increase the diversity of the population. Meanwhile, a novel nonlinear convergence factor was introduced to augment the local search capability. Experimental results indicate that the improved whale optimization algorithm converges faster and searches with higher precision in finding the optimal task scheduling solution compared to existing meta-heuristic algorithms. In addition, the modified algorithm achieves superior system resource usage when dealing with both small and large tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

The advent of the digital economy has necessitated secure and efficient storage solutions for large-scale data. Blockchain technology, characterized by its decentralization and immutability, offers unique advantages for protecting data privacy. However, as the scale of on-chain data processing expands, blockchain faces significant challenges in terms of storage costs and efficiency. This research introduces the IPFS-BC system, a novel collaborative storage solution that integrates the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) with blockchain. This system harnesses IPFS' s capability to manage large-scale data and employs blockchain smart contracts to facilitate automated interactions between the IPFS and blockchain systems, thereby ensuring data integrity and security. The IPFS-BC system combines the blockchain's transaction record layer with IPFS's storage solution to achieve decentralized data storage and enhanced efficiency. Experimental validation demonstrates that this system effectively reduces the storage load on the blockchain, improves storage performance, and maintains data security and integrity. This study not only provides a new solution for large-scale data storage but also lays a practical foundation for further integration and interaction between blockchain and IPFS. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes an energy balance opportunistic networks routing algorithm P-TECS. The P-TECS solves the problems of energy consumption of key nodes in existing opportunistic routing algorithms. This paper defines the relay degree of communication between nodes, and designs a P-TECS opportunistic routing algorithm integrating dynamic attributes of multiple nodes. Simulation results show that in resource-constrained opportunistic networks, P-TECS significantly improves the message delivery rate and average remaining energy of nodes, and significantly reduces the routing overhead rate. © 2023, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

Artificial intelligence(AI) systems surpass certain human intelligence abilities in a statistical sense as a whole, but are not yet the true realization of these human intelligence abilities and behaviors. There are differences, and even contradictions, between the cognition and behavior of AI systems and humans. With the goal of achieving general AI, this study contains a review of the role of cognitive science in inspiring the development of the three mainstream academic branches of AI based on the three-layer framework proposed by David Marr, and the limitations of the current development of AI are explored and analyzed. The differences and inconsistencies between the cognition mechanisms of the human brain and the computation mechanisms of AI systems are analyzed. They are found to be the cause of the differences and contradictions between the cognition and behavior of AI systems and humans. Additionally, eight important research directions and their scientific issues that need to focus on braininspired AI research are proposed: highly imitated bionic information processing, a large-scale deep learning model that balances structure and function, multi-granularity joint problem solving bidirectionally driven by data and knowledge, AI models that simulate specific brain structures, a collaborative processing mechanism with the physical separation of perceptual processing and interpretive analysis, embodied intelligence that integrates the brain cognitive mechanism and AI computation mechanisms,intelligence simulation from individual intelligence to group intelligence(social intelligence), and AI-assisted brain cognitive intelligence.

The direct use of naturally occurring,small molecular ingredients in bioinspired sunscreens has raised several concerns due to the instability,photocytotoxicity,and potential blood toxicity of those *** this work,we have employed natural ultraviolet(UV)-blocking molecule caffeic acid phenethyl ester(CAPE)from propolis to prepare poly(CAPE)nanoparticles(NPs)as the main bioactive ingredient to fabricate propolis-inspired hydrogel *** with small molecular CAPE,poly(CAPE)NPs exhibited better dispersion and stability in water,as well as lower physiological toxicity and skin *** the resulting composite hydrogels demonstrated promising properties including water-resistant whereas can be easily erased by warm water as well as safety when interacting with *** importantly,the hydrogel sunscreens showed excellent UV protection properties both in vitro and in vivo,and the positive effects in maintaining skin barrier *** work provides new strategies towards the facile construction of nature-inspired robust sunscreens in the future.

Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is one of the current research hotspots. However, in visual SLAM for dynamic environments, inaccurate detection of object motion states and incomplete dynamic region culling will lead to large localization errors. To address these issues, this paper proposes an RGB-D SLAM method based on feature association. The method has strongly correlated features in time and space according to the input image sequence. Using the moving probability of the feature points in the previous frame, the movement of the feature points in the current frame is calculated in combination with the dynamic corner points screened in the current frame. Then, the motion state of the object is determined according to the proportion of different feature points. Then combined with semantic information and object depth information, the fast search method is used to obtain accurate dynamic regions. Finally, the selected effective feature points are used to estimate the camera pose and establish a static map of the environment. This paper evaluates the robustness and accuracy of our method on the TUM dataset and real environment, and the results show that our method can significantly improve the system tracking effect and reduce the system tracking error compared with other SLAM methods in dynamic environments. © 2022 IEEE.
