There are some shortcomings in existing salient object detection methods of remote sensing images. For example, the extracting features are insufficient and they are always seriously interfered by complex background information. To solve these problems, a visual attention model based on Gestalt theory is proposed. First, a pyramid anisotropic scale space model is built, followed by the extraction of multi-scale, multi-directional low-And high-frequency visual features to construct multi-space saliency maps. Then each spatial saliency map can be adaptively fused based on the similarity principle of Gestalt theory. Comparison and analysis are implemented among our proposed method and some existing methods on the public natural image dateset ECSSD and remote sensing image dateset ORSSD. The experimental results show that the proposed method has higher detection accuracy than existing saliency detection methods, especially in the detection of remote sensing images. It is greatly demonstrated that the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

As an extended version of frequent itemset patterns, periodic itemset patterns concern both the frequency and periodicity of itemsets at the same time, so they contain more information than frequent itemset patterns, which only concern the frequency. With further research, we found that, in some cases, the periodic itemset patterns with higher frequency, or with optimal periodicity, or with both higher frequency and optimal periodicity have higher application value. However, there is currently no work focusing on such a kind of periodic itemset patterns. In view of this, this paper first proposes a new concept of skyline periodic itemset patterns, and states the problem of skyline periodic itemset pattern mining, then presents an algorithm called SLPIM (SkyLine Periodic Itemset pattern Miner) for skyline periodic itemset pattern mining. SLPIM first adopts the well-known FP-Growth algorithm to mine all frequent itemset patterns, and then uses an effective judgment strategy to determine which frequent itemset patterns are skyline periodic itemset patterns. Finally, experiments are conducted on two real-world and two simulated datasets. As control modules in cars become intelligent and automated, electrical systems become more complex. Dozens or even hundreds of electronic control units (ECUs) are used in many cars. In this case, the information security problem of the car is also latent in the dark. When the actual application load ratio of the CAN bus exceeds more than 30%, the delay of data communication and the probability of error frames multiply, causing serious communication congestion. A malicious intruder only needs to affect the bus data traffic to cause the collapse of the CAN bus network, which in turn changes the behavior of the car and has irreversible consequences. In order to enable the CAN bus to maintain its advantages, it can adapt to the new needs of contemporary in-vehicle networks with higher performance and more reliable security protection. In the paper, we propose a flow monitoring alarm module built into the in-vehicle CAN. This module embeds a statistical algorithm based on information theory. The algorithm has a small amount of computation and clear logic, which meets the lightweight requirements of embedded algorithms. Through multiple experiments, the module can monitor all Dos for in-vehicle CAN, as well as other traffic abnormalities with a monitoring alarm rate of more than 98%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Dual-view gaze target estimation in classroom environments has not been thoroughly explored. Existing methods lack consideration of depth information, primarily focusing on 2D image information and neglecting the latent 3D spatial context, which could lead to suboptimal transformation and cause the gaze cone to intersect with an incorrect object. This paper introduces a novel dual-view gaze target estimation method tailored for classroom settings, leveraging depth-enhanced spatial transformations. By formulating a depth-enhanced 2D space, our method uses depth-enhanced spatial transformation to accurately project students' gaze cones to the teacher-oriented image. Additionally, we collected a dataset named DVSGE, specifically for student gaze target estimation in dual-view classroom images. Experimental results demonstrate significant performance improvements of 9.8% in AUC and 19.9% in L2-Distance for our method, surpassing existing methods. © 2025 IEEE.

With the continuous development of cloud computing, the demand for cloud services in all walks of life is increasing. The scale of cloud computing services based on container technology is constantly growing, and Kubernetes has been widely used as a mainstream tool for container orchestration. It supports functions such as automatic deployment and service discovery, dramatically simplifies the container deployment process, and improves the availability and reliability of applications in cloud environments. However, the default scheduling strategy of Kubernetes adopts the greedy idea of first-come-first-served when facing multi-pod tasks, and schedules Pods to working nodes one by one. This scheduling scheme will lead to unbalanced cluster load and low resource utilization. To solve this problem, this paper introduces the selection, crossover, and mutation ideas in genetic algorithms into the artificial fish school algorithm, improves the foraging behavior in the artificial fish school algorithm, and constructs a custom scheduling strategy based on the enhanced artificial fish school algorithm. Experiments have shown that compared with the default scheduling strategy of Kubernetes, the customized scheduling strategy in this paper can effectively improve the load balancing of the cluster and improve the utilization of cluster hardware resources in the scenario of multi-pod scheduling. © 2025 IEEE.

Biomedical relation extraction seeks to automatically extract biomedical relations from biomedical text, which plays an important role in biomedical studies. However, constructing high-quality biomedical annotation data is not only time-consuming but also requires a high level of knowledge in the biomedical field. To alleviate this problem, Semi-supervised Biomedical Relation Extraction aims to extract relation facts from the limited labeled data and the more readily available unlabeled samples. Existing works can be roughly categorized as self-training methods and self-ensembling methods. The former aims to generate pseudo labels, which may lead to the gradual drift problem. The latter aims to encourage the output of one model to be consistent with the other model, where the acquisition of the model is tedious. To alleviate these issues, we propose a novel Uncertainty-Guided Mutual Consistency Training framework(UG-MCT) for semi-supervised Biomedical relation extraction. Specifically, our framework consists of two models with the same structure, which differ only when updating their weights, and then an intersecting pseudo-label mechanism is designed to convert the prediction discrepancies of the two models into mutual consistency training loss, thus promoting the consistency of model predictions. In addition, we utilize uncertainty as guided information to assist the model in focusing on the confident pseudo labels and mitigate the noise of inaccurate pseudo labeling during training. Thus, our model is very simple and efficient while mitigating the noise introduced by pseudo-labels. UG-MCT is evaluated on multiple datasets in different settings and the experimental results demonstrate that our method is highly effective in semi-supervised biomedical relation extraction compared to the state-of-the-art. © 2022 IEEE.

Offline Reinforcement Learning (RL) optimizes policy using pre-collected data instead of direct environment interaction, offering a safe and cost-effective solution for sequential decision-making in the real world. However, it faces challenges such as distribution shift issues and vulnerability under perturbations. Researchers have developed various conservative methods to improve the robustness of offline RL. Nevertheless, model-based methods can result in transition distribution shift issues, while model-free value-based uncertainty penalty methods may not be sufficiently robust. To address these problems, we propose a new method called Robust Offline RL via Conservative Smoothing and Dynamics Controlling (RCSD). To achieve reliable value estimation of out-of-distribution (OOD) actions, RCSD uses both model-free uncertainty penalty and model-based simulation methods. It introduces a new one-step simulation method with conservative dynamics controlling to avoid value overestimation caused by transition distribution shifts. Moreover, RCSD considers both current and next states when generating OOD states to ensure cautious value estimation and efficient data utilization. RCSD uses conservative Q-smoothing and policy smoothing to strengthen the policy against sudden changes under perturbations. Experiments on D4RL benchmark demonstrate that RCSD can achieve state-of-the-art performance compared to baselines in either benchmark or adversarial attack tests.

Developing low-cost rolled Mg alloys with both high strength and ductility is desirable,while the improved strength is generally accompanied with decreased ***,by using rotated hard-plate rolling(RHPR)with a total thickness reduction of~85%,we obtained a Mg-8Al-0.5Zn-0.8Ce(wt.%,AZ80-0.8Ce)alloy with a high strength-ductility synergy,i.e.,the yield strength(YS),ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and elongation-to-failure(EF)are~308 MPa,~360 MPa and~13.8%,*** reveals that the high YS is mainly originated from grain boundary strengthening(~212 MPa),followed by dislocation strengthening(~43 MPa)and precipitation hardening(~25 MPa).It is found that a relatively homogeneous fine grain structure containing a large fraction(~62%)of low angle boundaries(LABs)is achieved in the RHPRed alloy,which is benefit for the high tensile EF *** demonstrates that LABs have important contributions to strengthening and homogenizing tensile deformation process,leading to the simultaneous high strength and high *** work provides a new insight for fabrication of low-cost high performance Mg alloys with an excellent strength-ductility synergy.

With cars becoming the primary choice of people’s daily travel, on-board OTA upgrade technology has arisen a common concern in the automotive industry. Traditional on-board OTA upgrade technology, which adopts a method of updating the whole package, successfully avoids offline upgrade. However, it takes too long to download the whole update package and upgrade in-vehicle ECUs because of the huge data transmission. In addition, packet loss and disconnection are easy to occur in case of network congestion. As a result, it will seriously affect users’ online upgrade experience. Therefore, incremental update technology should be used instead of updating the whole package in on-board OTA upgrade technology. In order to solve above problems, in this paper, we propose an improved BSDIFF difference algorithm based on LZMA2 compression algorithm to realize the incremental update of on-board OTA. Traditional BSDIFF can generate a patch file according to an old app and a new app. And a patch file is far smaller than the corresponding new app, which is conducive to remote transmission and reduces the download time of users. Through our experiments, LZMA2-based BSDIFF has a better compression ratio than traditional BSDIFF, which is more suitable for the incremental update of in-vehicle ECUs with limited memory resources. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
