In social recommendation, user's interest preference is influenced by multiple factors. It is a challenging problem to mine data information effectively in multiple types of interaction behaviors between users and items to obtain more accurate embedding of user items. Existing social recommendation models tend to take a homogeneous approach to the interaction effects of neighbourhood nodes on target nodes. We propose a social recommendation model based on deep representation learning of hypergraphs. The model aims to learn embedded representations of users and items from multi-type user-item interaction data efficiently. An attention mechanism that integrating time interval information is introduced for computing the preference weights of each item to the user. Messages are generated with time-interval attention weights the inter-user and inter-item hypergraph information is combined to update the messages and aggregate the information from multiple layers. Extensive experiments on two real datasets show that the proposed models are superior to other advanced recommendation methods in improving the recommendation performance. © 2024 SPIE.

We used the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)to search for the molecular emissions in the L-band between 1.0 and 1.5 GHz toward four comets,C/2020 F3(NEOWISE),C/2020 R4(ATLAS),C/2021 A1(Leonard),and 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko during or after their perihelion *** of molecular transition lines fall in this low-frequency range,many attributed to complex organic or prebiotic *** conducted a blind search for the possible molecular lines in this frequency range in those comets and could not identify clear signals of molecular emissions in the *** several molecules have been detected at high frequencies of greater than100 GHz in comets,our results confirm that it is challenging to detect molecular transitions in the L-band frequency *** non-detection of L-band molecular lines in the cometary environment could rule out the possibility of unusually strong lines,which could be caused by the masers or non-LTE *** the line strengths are predicted to be weak,for FAST,using the ultra-wide bandwidth receiver and improving the radio frequency interference environments would enhance the detectability of those molecular transitions at low frequencies in the future.

Background: There is a shortage of rehabilitation doctors and treatment equipment for patients with lumbar spondylosis. Therefore, a waist massage instrument (WMI) is designed to help patients alle-viate lumbar pain. Objective: The objective of this study is to design a new WMI with the advantages of simple structure, lightweight, and function of effective force control, and to verify its function of palmar push, palmar press, and palmar vibration based on the on-off control, PID control, and fuzzy-PID control. Methods: Firstly, the movement characteristics of the Chinese massage manipulation are analyzed to clarify the design principle of the massage instrument. Then, a new WMI composed of massage head, vibration exciter, and actuator is designed to simulate the three massage manipulations. Next, the electric control system and control methods of on-off, PID, and fuzzy-PID controllers are introduced to realize the force control of WMI. Finally, the force control experiments of WMI are carried out to verify the function of the palmar press, palmar push, and palmar vibration based on the on-off control, PID control, and fuzzy-PID control, respectively. Results: The experimental results indicate that the proposed WMI can implement the massage manipulations of palmar push, palmar press, and palmar vibration well, and has good force control ability after using fuzzy-PID control. Conclusion: The newly designed WMI is effective in providing palmar push, palmar press, and palmar vibration massage manipulations for patients with lumbar spondylosis, and the fuzzy-PID controller im-proves the force control ability of the instrument. The WMI has the potential to be used as an effective treatment for lumbar pain. © 2023 Bentham Science Publishers.

The widespread availability of digital multimedia data has led to a new challenge in digital *** source camera identification algorithms usually rely on various traces in the capturing ***,these traces have become increasingly difficult to extract due to wide availability of various image processing *** Neural Networks(CNN)-based algorithms have demonstrated good discriminative capabilities for different brands and even different models of camera ***,their performances is not ideal in case of distinguishing between individual devices of the same model,because cameras of the same model typically use the same optical lens,image sensor,and image processing algorithms,that result in minimal overall *** this paper,we propose a camera forensics algorithm based on multi-scale feature fusion to address these *** proposed algorithm extracts different local features from feature maps of different scales and then fuses them to obtain a comprehensive feature *** representation is then fed into a subsequent camera fingerprint classification *** upon the Swin-T network,we utilize Transformer Blocks and Graph Convolutional Network(GCN)modules to fuse multi-scale features from different stages of the backbone ***,we conduct experiments on established datasets to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper introduces the Temporal Transform Network based on Scale Sequences (TTS) for cloth-changing person re-identification in video datasets. The TTS network is designed to capture multi-scale temporal cues within video sequences. It accomplishes this by initially modeling short-term temporal cues between adjacent frames, followed by capturing long-term relationships between non-consecutive frames. In more detail, short-term temporal cues are modeled through parallel inflated convolutions with different time dilation rates, enabling the representation of pedestrian movement and appearance dynamics. Long-term relationships are effectively captured using a temporal self-attention model, mitigating challenges such as occlusion and noise within the video sequence. The TTS network outperforms existing methods across cloth-changing video ReID datasets such as CCVID. For instance, under general settings, our approach exhibits a 1.1% improvement in top-1 accuracy and a corresponding 1.1% increase in mAP compared to the baseline. In cloth-changing settings, we observe a 0.2% enhancement in top-1 accuracy and a notable 1.3% increase in mAP relative to the baseline. © 2023 IEEE.

Don’t Ignore the Drive of Curiosity: Rethinking Subtleties Between Universality of Commonsense knowledge and Excellence of Large Language Models

Commonsense reasoning is one of the abilities necessary for artificial intelligence to be as intelligent as humans. However, how to make AI understand commonsense has been a problem that has plagued artificial intelligence for more than 60 years. Existing efforts focus more on the means of knowledge acquisition and strive to enrich the capacity of commonsense knowledge (CSK) bases and dimensions of CSK through advanced methods. Unfortunately, this exuberance has obscured a general consideration of CSK, such as how to follow human habits to obtain the most representative knowledge we need to understand the world. In this paper, this representative knowledge is referred to as core CSK. The influence of core CSK is extensive, and it constitutes almost the fundamental element of human life and the most fundamental cognition of the world. Harnessing human curiosity to find solutions to the above problems is an effective and straightforward route. Specifically, we focus on a special corpus to mine core CSK, namely, why-questions. For example, we can harvest “the sky is blue” from “why is the sky blue?”. To this end, we propose a novel method to extract CSK from why-questions, which mainly consist of two modules. The first is a question classification module used to determine whether a question contains CSK. In this module, we propose a classifier based on a one-sided bootstrapping method and design several informative features for the classifier. The second is a crowdsourcing module used to improve the quality of the extracted commonsense. We conduct extensive experiments, and the experimental results show that our method effectively mines CSK from question corpora. Furthermore, statistical analysis demonstrates the feasibility of this curiosity-driven approach, implying that we provide a basic idea for collecting core CSK. In this work, an Enhanced-Precision Bandgap Reference Incorporating Temperature-Compensation was proposed. Unlike traditional bandgap references, the reference voltage output of 0.701 V is realized by combining reference current and resistor. Meanwhile, an innovative Linear-piecewise current compensation was proposed, which aimed at optimizing the temperature drift of the bandgap reference. The simulation results shows that the proposed curvature-compensation technique improves the TC from 24.96 to 2.14 ppm°C in the temperature range of -40 °C to 120 °C;the PSRR of Enhanced-Precision Bandgap Reference at low frequency is 72.40 dB;the line regulation is about 0.08 %/V for input voltages between 3.2 and 3.7 V in standard 0.18 μm 1P6M CMOS process. The proposal of this new circuit provides a new idea for the realization of high- performance integrated circuits in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at a series of problems such as low evaluation efficiency of traditional algorithms, cumbersome process operation, high use cost and no complete algorithm inspection process system, this paper proposes an algorithm flow technology inspection processing system and method based on remote sensing applications, mainly including satellite product processing, algorithm processing, sample feature selection, sample extraction, and algorithm processing results comparison, It mainly realizes the functions of input, output and parameter adjustment required by different function functions, and designs an interface interaction system that adapts to the input and output elements required by different function modules. It realizes the modular, plug-in and componentized design of interface interaction of function modules, and obtains the evaluation system of algorithm credibility. © 2023 SPIE.

Poverty threatens human development especially for developing countries,so ending poverty has become one of the most important United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).This study aims to explore china's progress in poverty reduction from 2016 to 2019 through time-series multi-source geospatial data and a deep learning *** poverty reduction efficiency(PRE)is measured by the difference in the out-of-poverty rates(which measures the probability of being not poor)of 2016 and *** study shows that the probability of poverty in all regions of china has shown an overall decreasing trend(PRE=0.264),which indicates that the progress in poverty reduction during this period is *** Hu Huanyong Line(Hu Line)shows an uneven geographical pattern of out-of-poverty rate between Southeast and Northwest *** 2016 to 2019,the centroid of china's out-of-poverty rate moved 105.786 km to the northeast while the standard deviation ellipse of the out-of-poverty rate moved 3 degrees away from the Hu Line,indicating that the regions with high out-of-poverty rates are more concentrated on the east side of the Hu Line from 2016 to *** results imply that the government's future poverty reduction policies should pay attention to the infrastructure construction in poor areas and appropriately increase the population density in poor *** study fills the gap in the research on poverty reduction under multiple scales and provides useful implications for the government's poverty reduction policy.

Few-shot learning (FSL) aims to learn to new concepts based on very limited data. One of the main challenges in FSL is the use of pretrained embeddings whose dimension is too high for the small sample size. While the large dimensionality helps capture diverse features in the training example, not all the features are relevant to the task at hand. Such task-irrelevant features from pre-trained embeddings can negatively impact the performance of the FSL model. To address this challenge, we propose a simple yet effective way to learn task-level manifolds that explicitly eliminate the negative effect of nuisance features. One key novelty of our approach is to address class imbalance in the training data by injecting supervised information through key virtual samples, which we named Manifold Support Points. Empirically, we demonstrate that the stability of the learnt task-level manifolds and their effectiveness in challenging tasks in FSL. Our approach shows competitive performance on several benchmark datasets, including tieredImageNet and CUB. © 2023 IEEE.
