As an important node in the dismantling and grouping of freight trains, the operational tasks of the railway technical station are increasingly busy. Various business activities involve a large number of field personnel, and ensuring the personal safety and operational efficiency of these personnel is one of these issues that railway operations need to *** ensure the operational safety and standardization at the railway technical station, high-precision positioning system for the personnel is required. However, typical operational scenarios at railway technical stations often involve problems such as the carriage obstruction and the electromagnetic interference. Only rely on GNSS for positioning is often insufficient to meet practical requirements. Addressing the need of the high-precision positioning for the operational personnel at railway technical stations, this paper constructs a integrated navigation system based on RTK and IMU . It utilizes a Discrete Error state Kalman Filtering algorithm to fuse the solution data from RTK and IMU, thereby obtaining high-precision pedestrian positioning data. Compared to relying solely on GNSS positioning system, the integrated navigation system significantly improves its resistance to the interference and positioning accuracy. Experimental results demonstrate that this positioning system can achieve centimeter-level positioning in obstructed scenarios typical of railway technical stations, meeting the positioning requirements of the operational personnel at railway technical station work sites.

In this paper, we propose the basic framework of point- wise topological logic on completely distributive lattices and explore approximate reasoning in it. The logic of this paper is based on pointwise characterization, therefore the pointwise conception is pervasive. We explore approximate reasoning in abstract logical framework Fl on completely distributive lattice L. We propose the structure of point- wise topological logic F TL , the structure of matching function sigma. and the structure of matching neighborhood group. We investigate approximate reasoning in pointwise topological logic F TL with matching function sigma, develop pointwise topological algorithm of simple approximate reasoning, introduce the essential characteristics of this scheme.

CMFN: Cross-Modal Fusion Network for Irregular Scene Text Recognition

Scene text recognition, as a cross-modal task involving vision and text, is an important research topic in computer vision. Most existing methods use language models to extract semantic information for optimizing visual recognition. However, the guidance of visual cues is ignored in the process of semantic mining, which limits the performance of the algorithm in recognizing irregular scene text. To tackle this issue, we propose a novel cross-modal fusion network (CMFN) for irregular scene text recognition, which incorporates visual cues into the semantic mining process. Specifically, CMFN consists of a position self-enhanced encoder, a visual recognition branch and an iterative semantic recognition branch. The position self-enhanced encoder provides character sequence position encoding for both the visual recognition branch and the iterative semantic recognition branch. The visual recognition branch carries out visual recognition based on the visual features extracted by CNN and the position encoding information provided by the position self-enhanced encoder. The iterative semantic recognition branch, which consists of a language recognition module and a cross-modal fusion gate, simulates the way that human recognizes scene text and integrates cross-modal visual cues for text recognition. The experiments demonstrate that the proposed CMFN algorithm achieves comparable performance to stateof- the-art algorithms, indicating its effectiveness. © 2024, CC BY.

Path planning and tracking control are important modules of mobile robots, which have outstanding advantages in improving the flexibility of mobile robots. However, in the existing applications, these two modules are usually processed separately, which makes the obstacle avoidance process of the mobile robot uncontrollable and reduces the adaptability of the application scenario. In order to realize collision-free high-precision trajectory tracking control of mobile robots in dynamic scenes, this paper proposes an adaptive MPC control method based on curvature constraints, which can improve the safety of operation and reduce the chattering caused by unreasonable paths in the process of operation. Firstly, according to the kinematic constraints of general mobile robots, the constraint model of mobile robot path planning is constructed. At the same time, the adaptive parameter adjustment rules are adopted to realize the balance between the calculation efficiency and the control cycle. Finally, a smooth safe path is obtained by re-fitting the planned path and reprocessing the nodes with excessive curvature. Compared with traditional methods, the proposed method has better advantages.

AdaFuse: Adaptive Medical Image Fusion Based on Spatial-Frequential Cross Attention

Multi-modal medical image fusion is essential for the precise clinical diagnosis and surgical navigation since it can merge the complementary information in multi-modalities into a single image. The quality of the fused image depends on the extracted single modality features as well as the fusion rules for multi-modal information. Existing deep learning-based fusion methods can fully exploit the semantic features of each modality, they cannot distinguish the effective low and high frequency information of each modality and fuse them adaptively. To address this issue, we propose AdaFuse, in which multimodal image information is fused adaptively through frequency-guided attention mechanism based on Fourier transform. Specifically, we propose the cross-attention fusion (CAF) block, which adaptively fuses features of two modalities in the spatial and frequency domains by exchanging key and query values, and then calculates the cross-attention scores between the spatial and frequency features to further guide the spatial-frequential information fusion. The CAF block enhances the high-frequency features of the different modalities so that the details in the fused images can be retained. Moreover, we design a novel loss function composed of structure loss and content loss to preserve both low and high frequency information. Extensive comparison experiments on several datasets demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of both visual quality and quantitative metrics. The fifth generation(5G) wireless communication networks are being deployed worldwide from 2020 and more capabilities are in the process of being standardized, such as mass connectivity, ultra-reliability,and guaranteed low latency. However, 5G will not meet all requirements of the future in 2030 and beyond, and sixth generation(6G) wireless communication networks are expected to provide global coverage, enhanced spectral/energy/cost efficiency, better intelligence level and security, etc. To meet these requirements, 6G networks will rely on new enabling technologies, i.e., air interface and transmission technologies and novel network architecture, such as waveform design, multiple access, channel coding schemes, multi-antenna technologies, network slicing, cell-free architecture, and cloud/fog/edge computing. Our vision on 6G is that it will have four new paradigm shifts. First, to satisfy the requirement of global coverage, 6G will not be limited to terrestrial communication networks, which will need to be complemented with non-terrestrial networks such as satellite and unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) communication networks, thus achieving a space-airground-sea integrated communication network. Second, all spectra will be fully explored to further increase data rates and connection density, including the sub-6GHz, millimeter wave(mmWave), terahertz(THz),and optical frequency bands. Third, facing the big datasets generated by the use of extremely heterogeneous networks, diverse communication scenarios, large numbers of antennas, wide bandwidths, and new service requirements, 6G networks will enable a new range of smart applications with the aid of artificial intelligence(AI) and big data technologies. Fourth, network security will have to be strengthened when developing 6G networks. This article provides a comprehensive survey of recent advances and future trends in these four aspects. Pathology symptoms of Parkinson disease (PD) are different from those of retinal diseases in the retinal layers, which are subtle. However, segmenting pathology information of PD from retinal layers automatically based on optical coherence tomography (OCT) images has not been studied before. Although existing Transformer-based segmentation methods have achieved good segmentation results, they have limitations in capturing local context information. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can construct local context dependencies among pixels, which is complementary to Transformers. Particularly, edge information extraction is significant for accurate retinal layer segmentation, which is ignored by both Transformers and CNNs but can be captured by frequency domain learning methods. To fully leverage the advantages of Transformers, CNNs, and frequency domain learning methods, we propose a Wavelet Transformer (WaveFormer) for retinal layer segmentation based on OCT images. In the WaveFormer, we design a Wavelet Spatial Attention block to exploit the potential of frequency information. Based on these advantages, WaveFormer can be data-efficient in limited OCT images of PD. The experimental results on the OCT-PD segmentation dataset show that our WaveFormer outperforms existing Transformers and CNNs. For example, WaveFormer outperforms Swin-UNet by 3.41% of IoU.

Text clustering has been widely used in many Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications such as text summarization and news recommendation. However, most of the current algorithms need to predefine a clustering number, which is difficult to obtain. Moreover, the mutli-label clustering is useful in multiple clustering tasks in many applications, but related works are rarely available. Although several studies have attempted to solve above two problems, there is a need for methods that can solve the two issues simultaneously. Therefore, we propose a new text clustering algorithm called Word2Cluster. Word2Cluster can automatically generate an adaptive number of clusters and support multi-label clustering. To test the performance of Wrod2Cluster, we build a Chinese text dataset, Hotline, according to real world applications. To evaluate the clustering results better, we propose an improved evaluation method based on basic accuracy, precision and recall for multi-label text clustering. Experimental results on a Chinese text dataset (Hotline) and a public English text dataset (Reuters) demonstrate that our algorithm can achieve better F1-measure and runs faster than the state-of- the-art baselines.

In various domains such as surveillance and smart retail, pedestrian retrieval, centering on person re-identification (Re-ID), plays a pivotal role. Existing Re-ID methodologies often overlook subtle internal attribute variations, which are crucial for accurately identifying individuals with changing appearances. In response, our paper introduces the Attribute-Guided Pedestrian Retrieval (AGPR) task, focusing on integrating specified attributes with query images to refine retrieval results. Although there has been progress in attribute-driven image retrieval, there remains a notable gap in effectively blending robust Re-ID models with intra-class attribute variations. To bridge this gap, we present the Attribute-Guided Transformer-based Pedestrian Retrieval (ATPR) framework. ATPR adeptly merges global ID recognition with local attribute learning, ensuring a co-hesive linkage between the two. Furthermore, to effectively handle the complexity of attribute interconnectivity, ATPR organizes attributes into distinct groups and applies both inter-group correlation and intra-group decorrelation regularizations. Our extensive experiments on a newly estab-lished benchmark using the RAP dataset [32] demonstrate the effectiveness of ATPR within the AGPR paradigm.

Incorporating Chinese characters of words for lexical sememe prediction

Sememes are minimum semantic units of concepts in human languages, such that each word sense is composed of one or multiple sememes. Words are usually manually annotated with their sememes by linguists, and form linguistic commonsense knowledge bases widely used in various NLP tasks. Recently, the lexical sememe prediction task has been introduced. It consists of automatically recommending sememes for words, which is expected to improve annotation efficiency and consistency. However, existing methods of lexical sememe prediction typically rely on the external context of words to represent the meaning, which usually fails to deal with low-frequency and out-of-vocabulary words. To address this issue for Chinese, we propose a novel framework to take advantage of both internal character information and external context information of words. We experiment on HowNet, a Chinese sememe knowledge base, and demonstrate that our framework outperforms state-of-the-art baselines by a large margin, and maintains a robust performance even for low-frequency words.
