Judgment of blast furnace iron-tapping status based on data differential processing and dynamic window analysis algorithm

Ironmaking plants hold a core position in steel production. Efficient level detection and iron-tapping status judgment can accurately measure the liquid level and predict the amount of molten iron in the ladle, thereby ensuring production safety and improving production efficiency. At present, the judgment of the start and end statuses of blast furnace iron-tapping mainly relies on manual visual inspection. However, due to the high-temperature environment on-site and interference from iron powder, gunning mud, and other dust, operators find it challenging to make accurate judgments. To address these issues, this study proposes a robust and accurate method for judging the iron-tapping status of blast furnaces. This study collected four million on-site liquid level data, underwent interpolation, noise reduction, normalization, and other preprocessing steps, and then used differential processing to calculate the iron-tapping rate. Combined with dynamic window feature analysis, it effectively captured the change characteristics of the liquid level in the ladle under different iron-tapping *** simulated on-site experiments, the method achieved a 96.6 % accuracy rate for iron-tapping status *** real-time iron-tapping status judgment method based on differential processing of liquid level data and dynamic window feature analysis proposed in this study demonstrates high precision and robustness in the complex environment of ironmaking plants. This technology not only improves the production efficiency of the iron and steel link but also frees on-site operators from the harsh working environment, eliminating human errors in judgments and omissions, further promoting the intelligent process of ironmaking plants.

Granular activated carbon(GAC)filtration can be employed to synchronously quench residual H_(2)O_(2)from the upstream UV/H_(2)O_(2)process and further degrade dissolved organicmatter(DOM).In this study,rapid small-scale column tests(RSSCTs)were performed to clarify the mechanisms underlying the interactions between H_(2)O_(2)and DOM during the GAC-based H_(2)O_(2)quenching *** was observed that GAC can catalytically decompose H_(2)O_(2),with a long-lasting high efficiency(>80%for approximately 50,000 empty-bed volumes).DOM inhibited GAC-based H_(2)O_(2)quenching via a pore-blocking effect,especially at high concentrations(10 mg/L),with the adsorbed DOM molecules being oxidized by the continuously generated·OH;this further deteriorated the H_(2)O_(2)quenching *** batch experiments,H_(2)O_(2)could enhance DOM adsorption by GAC;however,in RSSCTs,it deteriorated DOM *** observation could be attributed to the different·OH exposure in these two *** was also observed that aging with H_(2)O_(2)and DOM altered the morphology,specific surface area,pore volume,and the surface functional groups of GAC,owing to the oxidation effect of H_(2)O_(2)and·OH on the GAC surface as well as the effect of ***-tionally,the changes in the content of persistent free radicals in the GAC samples were insignificant following different aging *** work contributes to enhancing understanding regarding the UV/H_(2)O_(2)-GAC filtration scheme,and promoting the application in drinking water treatment.

Spicy taste have been utilized in the food industry as appetizers， stomachics， and beverages and in the health sector to alleviate high cholesterol and hypertension. However， an understanding of neural mechanisms and cognitive processes associated with spicy diets remains limited due to the lack of instruments that directly monitoring the brain’s reaction to spicy sensations. This study aimed to examine the neural responses of participants to oral capsaicin solutions through functional near-infrared spectroscopy and reveal distinct neural activation patterns associated with spiciness induction and relief phases. Results showed that the perception of spiciness is a dynamic process， and significant differences in sensory intensity and emotion were observed between the phases. The prefrontal regions of the brain were activated during spicy flavor perception and presented clear lateralization effects. Further spatial localization results indicated that the orbitofrontal， dorsolateral prefrontal， and ventral lateral prefrontal cortices were the main causes of difference in activation among the phases. In addition， correlational analyses indicated that spicy flavor perception activated cortical areas related to emotion and reward processing. Overall， this research enhances our understanding of the neural mechanisms underlying addiction to spicy food and may be useful in the development of food on the basis of consumers’ preferences and behavioral responses.

With the rapid development of channel survey technology, multibeam bathymetric system plays an increasingly important role in channel survey. Firstly, we establish a physical model, use the tangent formula to find out the depth of seawater D, after the analysis of the plane model and use the sine theorem to find out the coverage width W, and then use the spacing of the two adjacent survey lines and the coverage width, and with the help of the expression of the relationship between the overlap rate with the previous survey line is solved ?. The overlap with the previous line is then solved with the help of an expression relation. Finally, SketchUp was used to convert the given information into a three-dimensional model for analysis, and the expression for the relationship between angles and edges in a three-dimensional structure was obtained. We found that the optimal wiring strategy is "horizontal wiring along the isobaths", and the optimal number of survey lines for the vessel on these three slopes is 67 in total, with the missed area accounting for 1.325% of the total area of the region. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the continuous improvement of aerospace DC/DC conversion efficiency requirements and the relatively poor electrical characteristics of available aerospace power semiconductor devices, the research on half-bridge resonant soft switch topology for efficient conversion was carried out. The working process of the half-bridge resonant converter under PFM and PWM control modes is analyzed. A half-closed loop hybrid control method suitable for output voltage interval control and synchronous rectification control method based on multiple side current sampling is proposed. For different output voltage control sections, different control schemes and synchronous rectification schemes are adopted to achieve the balance between converter efficiency improvement and power supply security. © 2024 SPIE.

Frequency steering of spaceborne clocks based on XPNAV-1 observations

Due to high stable rotations, timing of pulsars provides a natural tool to correct the frequency deviation of spaceborne atomic clocks. Based on processing the observational data about a year of Crab pulsar given by XPNAV-1 satellite, we study the possibility of correcting the frequency deviation of spaceborne atomic clocks using pulsar timing. According to the observational data in X-ray band and the timing model parameters from radio observations, the pre-fit timing residuals with a level of 67.66 μs are obtained. By fitting the slope of the timing residuals affected by the faked frequency-biased reference clock, we estimated successfully the relative frequency deviation of the reference clock. For a satellite clock with frequency deviation of the order about 10^(-12), a calibration accuracy with relative error of about 2% can be obtained from the Crab pulsar’s data for one *** stability of the time scale based on Crab pulsar is about 10^(-12) for an interval of one year.

Identifying the key determinants of heavy metal(loid) accumulation in rice and quantifying their contributions are critical for precise prediction of heavy metal(loid) concentrations in rice and the formulation of effective pollution control strategies. The accumulation of heavy metal(loid)s in rice can be influenced by both natural and anthropogenic factors, which may interact with each other. However, distinguishing the independent roles (main effects) from interactive effects and quantifying their impacts separately pose challenges. To address this knowledge gap, we employed TreeExplainer-based SHAP and random forest algorithms in this study to quantitatively estimate the primary influencing factors and their main and interactive effects on heavy metal(loid)s in rice. Our findings reveal that soil cadmium (SCd) and rice cultivation time (C_TIME) were the primary contributors to rice cadmium (RCd) and rice arsenic (RAs), respectively. Soil lead (SPb) and sampling distances from roads significantly contributed to rice lead (RPb). Additionally, we identified significant interactive effects of SCd and C_TIME, C_TIME and RCd, and RCd and rice variety on RCd, RAs, and RPb, respectively, emphasizing their significance. These insights are pivotal in improving the accuracy of heavy metal(loid) concentration predictions in rice and offering theoretical guidance for the formulation of pollution control measures. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Lithium battery, as an important part of new energy storage, its scientific and safe use and management has become a key factor to achieve low-carbon technology. Lithium-ion battery is a highly nonlinear system, and its operating state is susceptible to environmental interference and other disturbances, resulting in errors. Aiming at the error caused by the disturbance of the running state of lithium battery, this paper proposes a method of digital twin modeling of lithium-ion battery which integrates the mechanism model and the data-driven model. The adaptive particle swarm optimization support vector machine regression (SVR) algorithm was used to conduct data-driven modeling for the errors between the mechanism model and the battery entity data, and the errors were corrected to obtain a real-time and high-precision battery model, which realized condition monitoring and offline simulation display. Moreover, the accuracy of the model was verified through experiments, proving that it can lay a foundation for the safe and intelligent management and control of the battery system. © 2024 IEEE.
