Copper(Cu)-based materials are known as the most attractive catalysts for electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),especially the Cu^(+) species(e.g.,Cu_(2)O),which show excellent capability for catalyzing CO_(2) to C_(2+) chemicals because of their unique electronic ***,the active Cu^(+) species are prone to be reduced to metallic Cu under an electroreduction environment,thus resulting in fast deactivation and poor ***,we developed an advanced surface modification strategy to maintain the active Cu^(+) species via assembling a protective layer of metal-organic framework(copper benzenetricarboxylate,CuBTC) on the surface of Cu_(2)O octahedron(Cu_(2)O@CuBTC).It's encouraging to see that the Cu_(2)O@CuBTC heterostructure outperforms the bare Cu_(2)O octahedron in catalyzing CO_(2) to C_(2+) chemicals and dramatically enhances the ratio of C_(2)H_(4)/CH_(4) products.A systematic study reveals that the introduced CuBTC shell plays a critical role in maintaining the active Cu^(+) species in Cu_(2)O@CuBTC heterostructure under reductive *** work offers a practical strategy for improving the catalytic performance of CO_(2)RR over copper oxides and also establishes a route to maintain the state of valence-sensitive catalysts.

The data-driven intelligent Transportation System(ITS)provides great support to travel decisions and system management but inevitably encounters the issue of data missing in monitoring ***,network-wide traffic state prediction and imputation is critical to recognizing the system level state of a transportation *** research works have adopted various approaches for traffic prediction and ***,previous methods ignore the reliability analysis of the predicted/imputed traffic ***,this study originally proposes an attentive graph neural process(AGNP)method for network-level short-term traffic speed prediction and imputation,simultaneously considering ***,the Gaussian process(GP)is used to model the observed traffic speed *** a stochastic process is further learned by the proposed AGNP method,which is utilized for inferring the congestion state on the remaining unobserved road *** from a transportation network in Anhui Province,China,is used to conduct three experiments with increasing missing data ratio for model *** on comparisons against other machine learning models,the results show that the proposed AGNP model can impute traffic networks and predict traffic speed with high-level *** the probabilistic confidence provided by the AGNP,reliability analysis is conducted both numerically and visually to show that the predicted distributions are beneficial to guide traffic control strategies and travel plans.

Effect of alluvial thickness on the surface subsidence characteristics at deeply buried mining area with thin bedrock: A case study

Underground coal mining induces significant surface deformation and environmental damage,particularly in deeply buried mining areas with thin bedrock and thick alluvial *** on the case study of the Zhaogu No.2 coal mine in Xinxiang City,Henan Province,China,this study employs a comprehensive research methodology,integrating field investigations,numerical simulations,and theoretical analyses,to explore the surface subsidence features at deeply buried mining areas with thin bedrock and thick alluvial layers,to reveal the effect of alluvial thickness on the surface subsidence *** findings indicate that the surface subsidence areas span 4.2 km2 with an advanced influence distance of 540 *** rate of surface subsidence primarily depends on the panel's position and its advancing ***,the thickness of the alluvial layer amplifies both the extent and magnitude of surface *** displacement of overlying rock primarily exhibits a two-stage progression:the thin bedrock control stage and the alluvial control *** the thin bedrock control stage,surface subsidence initiates with relatively low subsidence values and ***,in the alluvial control stage,surface subsidence accelerates,leading to a rapid increase in both subsidence values and *** characteristics of rock formation displacement result in distinct phases of surface ***,the paper addresses the utilization of surface subsidence areas and proposes a method for calculating reservoir storage capacity in these *** to calculations,the storage capacity amounts to 1.05e7 m^(3).The research findings provide valuable insights into the surface subsidence laws in regions with similar geological conditions and practical implications for the management and utilization of subsided areas.

Filter-Based Land Vehicle Speed Estimation Algorithm using Pseudo Bias Model of Single-Axis Accelerometer

This study presents a filter-based vehicle longitudinal speed estimation algorithm with improved accuracy by estimating the accelerometer bias using only a single-axis accelerometer in the section where the odometer reliability is low. Most vehicles use odometers to obtain speed information because odometers can measure speed with high accuracy under normal driving conditions. However, since the typical odometer has a characteristic that depends on the measured revolutions per minute of the vehicle wheel, if a slip situation occurs in which the wheel slides owing to a sudden start and sudden stop, then the odometer outputs an inaccurate speed measurement. To solve this problem, we redefine the sensor error model of the accelerometer attached to the vehicle and propose a method to estimate the attitude and self-bias component, which are error components that have large effects on the accelerometer, through an adaptive lowpass filter. In addition, we propose an approach to apply the zero-velocity update method to improve the accuracy of the estimated speed information by integrating the error-compensated acceleration value based on the filter. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, an actual vehicle experiment was performed, and the speed estimation results of the odometer disabled area were analyzed. The results confirmed that the accuracy of speed estimation was greatly improved. © ICROS 2022.

Infrared detection technology has the advantages of all-weather detection and good concealment,which is widely used in long-distance target detection and tracking ***,the complex background,the strong noise,and the characteristics of small scale and weak intensity of targets bring great difficulties to the detection of infrared small targets.A multi-channel based on attention network is proposed in this paper,aimed at the problem of high missed detection rate and false alarm rate of traditional algorithms and the problem of large model,high complexity and poor detection performance of deep learning ***,given the difficulty in extracting the features of infrared multiscale and small dim targets,the multiple channels are designed based on dilated convolution to capture multiscale target ***,the coordinate attention block is incorporated in each channel to suppress background clutters adaptively and enhance target *** addition,the fusion of shallow detail features and deep abstract semantic features is realized by synthesizing the contextual attention fusion ***,it is verified that,compared with other state-of-the-art methods based on the datasets SIRST and MDFA,the proposed algorithm further improves the detection effect,and the model size and computational complexity are smaller.
