Progesterones are ubiquitous in hospital wastewater(HWW)with concentrations much higher than those of estrogens and *** ensure that these water systems are safe to use,disinfection is crucial during HWW treatment by providing"front line"defense against biological ***,five disinfection processes,namely,chlorine(Cl_(2)),chlorine dioxide(ClO_(2)),ozone(O_(3)),ultraviolet(UV)),and UV/chlorine(UV/Cl_(2)),were selected to investigate their removal efficiencies for progesterones in primary filtration and secondary biological treatment *** were 61 natural and synthetic progesterones detected in HWW,with the natural progesterones being the main components with a concentration of 845.51 ng/L and contributing to 75.08%of the total *** primary filtration treatment presented insignificant removal effects on the progesterones,while the secondary biological treatment significantly reduced the progesterone content by *** order of removal efficiencies of total progesterones by different disinfection processes was UV/Cl_(2)>Cl_(2)>O_(3)>ClO_(2)>***/Cl_(2)showed the highest removal efficiency against progesterones mainly due to the activation of Cl_(2)by ultraviolet(UV)photolysis,which helps open the heterocyclic,aromatic,and phenolic rings,thus accelerating progesterone *** addition,the removal efficiencies of natural progesterones in the five disinfection processes were higher than those of synthetic progesterones(progesterone derivatives,19-nortestosterone derivatives,and 17α-hydroxyprogesterone derivatives).

In this paper, we investigate the quantum fluctuations of subharmonic reflected field from a triple-resonant degenerate optical parametric amplifier(OPA) inside coupled optical resonators, which is driven by the squeezed beam at signal frequency. By controlling the relative phase between the pump beam and the injected signal beam, we can see the quantum fluctuation in the phase direction and amplitude direction due to the parametric down-conversion process in the cavity. Thus, the phase sensitive operation of the compression field is realized due to the quantum interference between the harmonic field of the down converter of OPA and the inner field of the coupled optical resonator. We verified the quantum coherent phenomena of OPA in coupled optical resonators and phase-sensitive manipulations of quantum entanglement for quantum information processing. We realized the electromagnetically induced transparency-like(EIT-like) effect and the optical parameter conversion process at the same time in one optical device. These properties can favor higher manipulation precision and control efficiency, which is more suitable for the integration of quantum-on-chip systems, laying a foundation for the practical application of quantum information.

In this study, a high-carbon nano-bainitic GCr15Si1Mo bearing steel was investigated. Specifically, the effects of content and size of undissolved carbides on the microstructure and transformation kinetics of nano-bainite were analyzed. The results demonstrated that after prolonged austempering at low temperatures, the mixed microstructure composed of nano-bainite (NB), undissolved carbides (UC), and retained austenite (RA) was obtained in GCr15SiMo steel. When the experimental steel was austenitized at 900 ℃, the undissolved carbides gradually dissolved until reaching a stable state with increasing holding time. Furthermore, at the same austempering temperature, despite different volume fractions of undissolved carbides in the substrate, the volume fractions of nano-bainite in the final microstructures remained essentially the same. Moreover, the higher the content of undissolved carbides in steel, the faster the transformation rate of nano-bainite and the shorter the total transformation time.

In unsupervised video object segmentation(UVOS), the whole video might segment the wrong target due to the lack of initial prior information. Also, in semi-supervised video object segmentation(SVOS), the initial video frame with a fine-grained pixel-level mask is essential to good segmentation accuracy. It is expensive and laborious to provide the accurate pixel-level masks for each training sequence. To address this issue, We present a weak user interactive UVOS approach guided by a simple human-made rectangle annotation in the initial frame. We first interactively draw the region of interest by a rectangle, and then we leverage the mask RCNN(region-based convolutional neural networks) method to generate a set of coarse reference labels for subsequent mask propagations. To establish the temporal correspondence between the coherent frames, we further design two novel temporal modulation modules to enhance the target representations. We compute the earth mover's distance(EMD)-based similarity between coherent frames to mine the co-occurrent objects in the two images, which is used to modulate the target representation to highlight the foreground target. We design a cross-squeeze temporal modulation module to emphasize the co-occurrent features across frames, which further helps to enhance the foreground target representation. We augment the temporally modulated representations with the original representation and obtain the compositive spatio-temporal information, producing a more accurate video object segmentation(VOS) model. The experimental results on both UVOS and SVOS datasets including Davis2016,FBMS, Youtube-VOS, and Davis2017, show that our method yields favorable accuracy and complexity.
