Low temperature cofiring ceramic (LTCC) combines hybrid technology, biocompatibility, chemical resistance and ease of fabrication to serve as a construction material for microfluidics. Due to the lack of CAD tools for MEMS this paper applies a model for the description of stationary flow in LTCC channels of non circular cross sections. Sample devices for validation are fabricated by laser structuring and standard LTCC process. The substrates consist of 130 mum thick layers and are connected horizontally to a tubing system. Characteristic length scales range between 131 mum and 159 mum. Deviations stay within the assumed uncertainty and confirm the theory. Results show that applying solutions of geometry description in accepted fluid mechanics models gives an appropriate tool for flow description. Implementing the model as a network description in the describing language MOSILAB can allow dimensioning and optimization under functional restrictions, e.g. pressure drop or geometry as well as communication with other modeling tools

In order to accurately identify these types of attacks HTH utilizes runtime information available during execution. The information collected includes fine-grained information flow, program execution flow and resources *** this paper we present Harrier, an Application Security Monitor at the heart of our HTH framework. Harrier is an efficient run-time monitor that dynamically collects execution-related data. Harrier is capable of collecting information across different abstraction levels including architectural, system and library APIs. To date, Harrier is 3-4 times faster than comparable information flow tracking *** the collected information, Harrier allows for accurate identification of abnormal program behavior. In this paper, based on the elastic foundation beam theory, the influence rules of every combination of loads and operating modes for ballastless track of Linear Induction Motor (LIM) track traffic are studied. In addition, according to the construction character of prefabrication and cast-in-situ, the rules of how construction influences the mechanical characteristics of the ballastless track structure are given. As Web resources and information are becoming numerous, many researchers have studied automated processing of the resources and information. In addition, semantic Web services make the Web services represented to be machine-interpretable through the semantic Web. Semantic Web services discovery systems, such as matchmaker, find proper semantic Web services for a client. However, it is mainly focused on semantic similarities between description instances and requests containing single input and output. In our design, annexed algorithm improves matching algorithm to arrange the result advertisements according to the client's conveniences for executing the Web services; less re-scheduling, less meaningless data. It also offers effective discovery services especially for the request with multiple inputs and outputs and in condition that there are no perfectly matched Web services or available Web services. Moreover, we implement the matching engine in URCSD (semantic Web services discovery for URC) for an intelligent agent, such as URC (ubiquitous robotic companion), through the proposed algorithm. In ubiquitous environment, various kinds of devices such as automated appliances and sensing devices exist for providing user with convenient services. However, in order to use such devices with felicity, people should have proper knowledge how to exploit and operate it through heterogeneous interfaces. Then, to enable human user to utilize the devices easily, the integrated interface, employing them with knowledge of them at ad-hoc manner, is necessarily needed. Therefore, to generate the adaptive interface for user in the environment, we propose an adaptive user controller exploiting the representation of devices through semantic descriptions. The devices in the environment are marked up with semantic description which can offer the logic describing information resources with semantics. The controller discovers the service devices, and it constructs the interfaces dynamically using knowledge for effective arrangement and user preference adaptation. We expect the system will dynamically provide user interfaces which make users control environment continuously without spatial restrictions. In addition, it can offer complex services with multiple devices using knowledge and defined rule through simple visualized interface
