Simulation extractable SNARKs based on target linearly collision-resistant oracle

The famous zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive arguments of knowledge(zk-SNARK) was proposed by Groth in ***, the construction is based on quadratic arithmetic programs which are highly efficient concerning the proof length and the verification complexity. Since then, there has been much progress in designing zk-SNARKs, achieving stronger security,and simulated extractability, which is analogous to non-malleability and has broad applications. In this study, following Groth's pairing-based zk-SNARK, a simulation extractability zk-SNARK under the random oracle model is constructed. Our construction relies on a newly proposed property named target linearly collision-resistant, which is satisfied by random oracles under discrete logarithm assumptions. Compared to the original Groth16 zk-SNARK, in our construction, both parties are allowed to use such a random oracle, aiming to get the same random number. The resulting proof consists of 3 group elements and only 1 pairing equation needs to be verified. Compared to other related works, our construction is shorter in proof length and simpler in verification while preserving simulation extractability. The results also extend to achieve subversion zero-knowledge SNARKs.

Civil gas energy accidents in China from 2012-2021

In this study,civil gas energy accidents reported by the China Gas Network and related organizations from 2012 to 2021 were collected,and a comprehensive multidimensional correlation analysis was conducted considering factors such as accident timing,geography,causes,and *** results identified July and August,Mondays and Sundays,and the morning,mid-day,and evening cooking times as the high-incidence months,days,and times for gas accidents,*** accidents were found to occur more frequently in eastern coastal areas,provincial capitals,and larger cities,while residential and construction sites were identified as high-risk areas for gas *** were the most prevalent type of gas accident,followed by leaks,fires,and ***-party construction and valve issues were identified as the primary factors contributing to gas leakage,whereas cooking was identified as the most common ignition *** analysis of the Pearson correlation coefficient indicated a significant correlation among the gas accident ***,a time-series prediction model was developed to forecast gas accidents in China,with the results demonstrating fluctuating gas *** study proposes targeted preventive measures in terms of publicity,education,equipment,and facilities to provide scientific support to government units to improve civil gas energy security measures.

Copper Precipitation Behavior and Mechanical Properties of Cu‑Bearing Ferritic Stainless Steel with Diferent Cr Addition

The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of Cu-bearing ferritic stainless steel with diferent Cr addition(Cr=12,15 and 17 wt%)were *** phase transformation behavior under diferent cooling rate,Cu-rich precipitation behavior and its infuence on the mechanical properties under diferent aging treatment are systematically characterized using dilatometry,diferential scanning calorimeter(DSC)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The results indicated that the increase in Cr content narrowed the austenite phase region at high temperatures,afecting its microstructure under diferent cooling *** 12Cr-1.5Cu steel exhibited a fully austenitic phase region at high temperature and occurred apparent martensitic transformation after air *** rate signifcantly infuenced the phase transition of the steels,and subsequently afected its mechanical *** three investigated steels showed higher strength and lower plasticity in air cooling condition compared to furnace cooling condition,due to the presence of *** aging treatment,high number densities of Cu-rich precipitates were formed in steel matrix and the size of Cu-rich precipitates increased obviously with increasing aging temperature,while the tendency for number density was *** and dispersed Cu-rich precipitates formed during low-temperature aging enhanced strength of the steels,while larger Cu-rich phases developed during high-temperature aging endowed greater ductility to the ***,the Cr content had no signifcant efect on the precipitation behavior of Cu-rich *** comprehensive results and analyses could provide a solid foundation for broader applications of Cu-bearing ferritic stainless steels.

Vitamin deficiency is a pervasive health issue affecting millions globally, often leading to severe health complications if undiagnosed. Various vitamin deficiencies can be identified by identifiable symptoms manifesting in numerous areas across the human body. Blood tests are most commonly used to detect deficiencies. However, blood tests are expensive and have limited availability. The project aims to develop an automated system to detect vitamin deficiencies using Mobilenet, convolutional neural networks (CNN), NasNet-mobile, inception modules, and artificial neural networks (ANN). The program allows users to detect potential vitamin deficiencies without needing blood samples by examining images of the eyes, lips, tongue, and nails. Here we have considered the dataset of abnormalities caused by vitamin deficiencies like glaucoma eyes, bluish nails, and other abnormalities of lips and tongue. We have trained the model on these image datasets, by leveraging image recognition and data analytics, the proposed system offers a quick, efficient, and non-invasive method of detection thereby streamlining the diagnostic process and facilitating early intervention. The aim is to provide an economical, accessible, and efficient clinical screening method. Moreover, the platform furnishes tailored dietary suggestions to tackle pinpointed inadequacies, thus alleviating health hazards linked with insufficient nourishment. By furnishing an easily reachable resource for prompt identification and action, our system aids in tackling a prevalent worldwide health concern. The program functions as a beneficial aid for individuals to combat a widespread global challenge, impacting millions due to inadequate comprehension of nutrition. Serving as a valuable resource, it addresses an international issue, assisting those facing nutritional uncertainties worldwide. © 2024 IEEE.

Colorectal polyps are benign lesions that develop in the colon and can progress to cancer if left untreated. Clinical observations from medical images are often preferred over computational results due to the lack of trust in the machine learning models, thereby posing serious challenge for the explainability of the results. In order to computationally diagnose colorectal polyps from cancerous images and explain the results, we propose a Layer-wise eXplainable ResUNet++ (LeXNet++) framework for segmentation of the cancerous images, followed by layer-wise explanation of the results. We utilize a publicly accessible dataset that contains of 612 raw images with a resolution of 256×256×3 and an additional 612 clinically annotated and labeled images with a resolution of 256×256×1, which includes the infected region. The LeXNet++ framework comprises of three components—encoder, decoder and the bridge. The encoder and the decoder components each comprise of four layers. Each of the four layers in the encoder and the decoder comprises of 14 and 11 internal sub-layers, respectively. Among the sub-layers of the encoder and the decoder, there are three 3×3 convolutional layers with an additional 3×3 convolution-transpose layer in the decoder. The output of each of the sub-layers has been explained through heatmap generation after each iteration which have been further explained. The encoder and the decoder are connected by the bridge which comprises of three sub-layers. The results obtained from these three sub-layers have also been explained to inculcate trust in the findings. In this study, we have used three models to segment the images, namely UNet, ResUNet, and proposed LeXNet++. LeXNet++ exhibited the best result among the three models in terms of performance;hence, only LeXNet++ was explained layer-wise. This paper introduces PalateTouch, a hands-free earphone interaction system that leverages acoustic sensing technology to detect gestures resulting from the interaction between the tongue and the palate. By transmitting Zadoff-Chu signals and analyzing ear canal transfer function features, PalateTouch can capture subtle ear canal deformation and recognize various palate gestures used for interaction. Our proposed palate touch screening method ensures the system remains unaffected by unintended gestures from daily activities and the calibration mechanism enables our system to achieve user-independent recognition. Using only the earphone's built-in microphone and speaker, our system can distinguish nine gestures with an average F1 score of 0.92 and a false alarm rate of 0.02 across diverse conditions with 16 participants. Additionally, we have enabled real-time functionality and conducted a user study with 11 participants to evaluate PalateTouch's effectiveness in a demo application. The identification of objects that blend in with their surroundings has long been a concern in fields including defence, wildlife monitoring, and surveillance due to the difficulty of detecting such objects. This finding is significant because it could greatly enhance our capacity to detect camouflaged objects, transforming the field of real-time object detection. Existing image processing methods often fail miserably when adequately capturing this aspect. This dissertation's primary focus is identifying devices with complicated patterns, legacy interference, and inadequate contrast;nonetheless, in disguised scenarios, all of these features cause identification to be unsuccessful. This research often suggests a new approach called the Linear Edge Detecting Scheme for Camouflaged Object Detection (LEDS-COD) in these difficult cases. The LEDS-COD system can enhance item visibility in low-comparison settings by highlighting critical edges and descriptions. Pattern differentiation methodologies and modern facility-side recognition techniques are combined to accomplish this goal. The approach successfully differentiated items because it zeroed in on texture and comparative details that would otherwise go unnoticed by humans or advanced algorithms. LEDS-COD is useful in many areas, including the Navy, autonomous surveillance systems, and animal protection, where the real-time identification of hidden devices is essential. Results from a simulation study using various datasets, including concealed objects, show that LEDS-COD surpasses conventional detection methods in recognition accuracy, processing speed, and perseverance. The recommended technique exceeded the requirements for obtaining improved object detection estimates for challenging conditions like those with complex backdrops and changing illumination. According to this study, LEDS-COD can be devastating in improving real-time camouflage detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Photocatalysis is a promising green approach for water *** diversity of water pH values is a key factor that restricts its practical application since pH affects the adsorption of organic molecules,the stability of catalysts and photocatalytic ***,we report a pH–independent,efficient and stable photocatalytic system with a liquid(water)–liquid(oil)–solid(semiconductor)(L–L–S)triphase interface *** system is fabricated by coating a thin layer of silicon oil on the surface of ZnO nanowire arrays,a model chemically unstable semiconductor in both acidic and alkaline *** show that the unique interface makes the dye adsorption pH independent and prevents the semiconductor from being corroded by strong acidic/alkaline solutions,leading to a stable and efficient photocatalytic reaction over a wide pH range(1—14).These findings reveal a promising path for the development of high-performance catalysis systems applicable in complex water environments.
