To design active analog, discrete-analog and digital filters a new method is suggested, taking into account the conditions of selective invariance and using the internal models principle of the dynamic systems. For this purpose, the structure of each basic filter ensures the presence of an explicit spectral model of the filtered signal. Such a filter is selectively invariant, and this property depend only on the spectrum-setting parameters and do not depend on other parameters. It is suggest-ed to carry out the design of the combined selective filters by integration of the suggested basic second-order filters, focusing on the log magnitude plot of the latter. This makes possible to minimize the order of the combined both analog and digital filters. The combined selective filters are distinguished by high stability of selective properties and can be used in the systems for measurement, signal processing, data transmission, as well as automatic and automated control of various social, production and special facilities. © 2024 IEEE.

To design linear control systems a new method is suggested on the basis of the principle of output and impacts control. The main difference of this principle consists in the use of only measurable variables and separate operators for each input signal of the control device. The design problem has a solution if the plant is completely controllable, and at least the controllable variable is measured. The suggested approach makes it possible to eliminate the well-known contradiction between the accuracy and stability of systems with control on deviation, and to provide the required astatism orders or selective invariance to the external actions. At the same time, the conditions of ensuring the direct indicators of the transient quality and the physical implementation of the control device are taken into account. The coefficients of the equation of the output and impacts control device are determined by solving a system of linear algebraic equations. The control device can be implemented on the basis of either operational amplifiers or sufficiently high-speed digital automation tools. The suggested method can be applied for designing high-quality linear control systems for various purposes. © 2023 IEEE.

The results of electrodynamic modeling of the ultra-wideband antenna array radiator using the ANSYS HFSS software are presented in the paper. The frequency characteristics of the ultra-wideband antenna array radiator using the ANSYS software was numerically simulated. The frequency characteristics of the ultra-wideband antenna array radiator were received. The VSWR of the ultra-wideband antenna array radiator does not exceed 2.54 within the operating frequency range. The radiator provides a scanning angle both in azimuth and in elevation angle as a part of the ultra-wideband digital antenna array not less than ± 29.95. © 2023 IEEE.

The numerical analysis in the time domain of the propagating of the short terahertz range radio pulse through the medium with negative permittivity is presented in the paper. This medium simulates the layer of plasma collisionless with a specified frequency dispersion. This model does not take into account the movement of positive ions. The process of signal formation in the time domain for the frequency of 10 THz with pulse duration of 0.1 ps and filling frequency of 10 THz is presented. It was shown that the plasma layer is the high-pass filter. Examples of the given short radio pulse propagation through the plasma layer are presented for frequencies of 10, 15, and 20 THz. The principle of the impedance analogue of electromagnetic space and the advantages of the Tamic Planar Rt-H Analyzer numerical simulation package for the terahertz range is explained. The geometry of the problem is described. The process of passing short terahertz radio pulse through the plasma layer is investigated. The electric field distribution from the coordinate at different time points is given. The spectral density of terahertz pulse after passing through the plasma layer is carried out. It was shown that the plasma layer behaves like a high-pass filter for the terahertz range. Examples of choosing a plasma frequency that allows the desired frequency range of the initial short terahertz radio pulse to pass through the plasma layer are given. © 2023 IEEE.

The integration algorithm with variable selection at each step in the numerical construction of ray trajectories in the medium with a given dependence of the dielectric constant on coordinates is presented in the paper. The estimation of the convergence of calculations to a known exact solution is estimated on the example of rays trajectories calculation for the Luneberg lens within the terahertz range. The trajectories of rays incident parallel to the ordinate axis and the trajectories of rays incident at the angle equal to 45 degrees to the ordinate axis are calculated. It is shown that when the grid step decreases, the convergence of the results to the exact solution is observed. The integration algorithm with selection of the variable at each step provides the construction of ray trajectories accurate to the grid step on the example of a Luneberg lens. © 2023 IEEE.

To rapidly and accurately establish the model of switched reluctance motors (SRMs) and enhance torque control performance, this article proposes a model predictive torque control (MPTC) strategy based on the optimized voltage vector. First, a fourth-order Fourier series is used to calculate the flux and torque models, and a complete nonlinear model of the SRM is constructed using the Kriging model. Second, the torque characteristics are used to divide the sectors, thereby reducing the number of candidate voltage vectors (CVVs) and effectively decreasing the computational burden of predictive control. Finally, an adaptive adjustment algorithm for the sector boundary angle is proposed, where the position of the sectors is determined based on variations in speed and load. The proposed method reduces torque ripple and enhances dynamic response capability. The effectiveness of this approach is validated through experiments on a 12/10 pole six-phase SRM prototype. © 2015 IEEE.

The investigation of the influence of RF MEMS switch design on frequency characteristics is presented. The design of a hybrid RF MEMS switch was proposed, which allows to significantly increase the switching capacity, as well as to reduce the signal loss within the frequencies from 100 MHz up to 10 GHz. Proposed hybrid RF MEMS switch is enable to be used in new generation radar and communication systems. © 2023 IEEE.
