Multi‐object tracking in autonomous driving is a non‐linear *** better address the tracking problem,this paper leveraged an unscented Kalman filter to predict the object's *** the association stage,the Mahalanobis distance was employed as an affinity metric,and a Non‐minimum Suppression method was designed for *** the detections fed into the tracker and continuous‘predicting‐matching’steps,the states of each object at different time steps were described as their own continuous *** conducted extensive experiments to evaluate tracking accuracy on three challenging datasets(KITTI,nuScenes and Waymo).The experimental results demon-strated that our method effectively achieved multi‐object tracking with satisfactory ac-curacy and real‐time efficiency.

The deep multi-view stereo (MVS) approaches generally construct 3D cost volumes to regularize and regress the depth map. These methods are limited with high-resolution outputs since the memory and time costs grow cubically as the volume resolution increases. In this paper, we presented an multi-stage iterative depth map estimation method for MVS. In our network, the cost volume is iteratively processed by lightweight 2D convolution based GRU modules, and the multi-stage coarse-to-fine structure is adopted to speed up the depth estimation process. To further improve the 3D reconstruction quality, we make improvements from two different perspectives of adaptive cost aggregation: a view-adaptive weighting module is proposed to account for the occlusion problem in cost volume fusion, and a spatial-adaptive deformable geometric feature encoding module is introduced to the cost volume feature encoding before feeding into GRUs for stronger modeling capability. Experiments on the DTU dataset demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed network in accuracy with remarkable efficiency performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

In recent years, the number of software vulnerabilities has gradually increased, posing a threat to the security of software, and identifying whether there are vulnerabilities in software is crucial for assuring its quality. With the development of deep learning, vulnerability detection based on deep learning has achieved good results. However, real-world software vulnerability datasets often suffer from class imbalance and a lack of labeled data, limiting the performance of deep learning models. Therefore, this paper proposes a data augmentation method to alleviate these two problems. Firstly, we treats samples with vulnerabilities in the dataset as code, and generates more samples with vulnerabilities through code refactoring to alleviate class imbalance issues. Secondly, we use the mixup method to perform linear interpolation on the embedding vectors which represent codes, and add the interpolated vectors into the training set, thereby increasing the amount of labeled training data. To evaluate our method, we conducted experiments on three projects of the Promise dataset. The experimental results show that our data augmentation method can effectively improve the effect of vulnerability detection. © 2024 IEEE.

For monitoring the paste concentration, existing techniques, such as ultrasonic concentration meters and neutron meters, suffer from radiation hazards and low precision in high concentrations. This paper proposes a novel non-contact concentration measurement method based on deep learning. With the dataset collected by preparing the paste with different concentrations and taking photographs from the paste surface, a convolutional neural network is trained to extract the features from images and predict the concentration. The experiments indicate that the measurement accuracy is close to 88.79 % for the manual stirring paste dataset and 91.42 % for the automatic stirring paste dataset, which are sufficient in industrial applications. As a substitution of traditional concentration measurement instruments, the proposed vision-based concentration measurement method is non-contact and its accuracy is sufficient in industrial applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, sailing in formation has been the major trend with the rise of unmanned ships. In the past, research about unmanned catamaran formation were more focused on algorithmic control, but the changes in hydrodynamic performance and energy are often overlooked. In nature, various collective behaviors indicate that followers would obtain significant energy consumption from beneficial interaction in certain formation configurations. Based on the previous research, the high-speed catamaran delft-372 was chosen as the basic numerical model in this paper. Four ship’s formation configurations (tandem, "trimaran", and rectangle formations) are proposed to analyze the influence on the hydrodynamic performance of each ship, based on the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method in combination with the Shear Stress Transport (SST) k-ω turbulence model. Through comparative analysis, it can be seen that the resistance and motion of the following ships have been optimized under specific formation configurations, but the impact of various formation configurations is quite different. In terms of single ship’s energy preservation, the last following ship of "trimaran" formation has the best performance. For the whole, tandem formation is the optimal fleet configuration. In conclusion, the hydrodynamic performance of four catamarans in different formation configurations has been studied, which can provide some reference significance. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Modeling and predicting the performance of students in collaborative learning paradigms is an important task. Most of the research presented in literature regarding collaborative learning focuses on the discussion forums and social learning networks. There are only a few works that investigate how students interact with each other in team projects and how such interactions affect their academic performance. In order to bridge this gap, we choose a software engineering course as the study subject. The students who participate in a software engineering course are required to team up and complete a software project together. In this work, we construct an interaction graph based on the activities of students grouped in various teams. Based on this student interaction graph, we present an extended graph transformer framework for collaborative learning (CLGT) for evaluating and predicting the performance of students. Moreover, the proposed CLGT contains an interpretation module that explains the prediction results and visualizes the student interaction patterns. The experimental results confirm that the proposed CLGT outperforms the baseline models in terms of performing predictions based on the real-world datasets. Moreover, the proposed CLGT differentiates the students with poor performance in the collaborative learning paradigm and gives teachers early warnings, so that appropriate assistance can be provided. With the continuous development of the protective structures and the upgrading of blast mitigation materials, traditional shaped charge warheads are gradually difficult to cause effective damage to heavily armoured ships. To improve the penetration capability of the warhead and achieve large aperture damage to the structures, Annular Shaped Charge (ASC) with unique geometric structure is proposed and applied. In order to investigate the damage effect of the ASC on thin-walled structures with near-field explosion, a series of numerical calculations are carried out based on the Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian (CEL) method. The influence of the standoff distance on the penetration performance of the ASC is analysed, and the optimal standoff distance is also obtained. Moreover, the influence of medium on the penetration ability of the ASC is explored. The process of jet formation and penetration of the ASC in air medium, water medium and water with an air cavity are compared and analysed. The results show that water not only limits the formation effect of the ASC, but also significantly reduces the jet tip velocity. Accordingly, an air cavity is added in front of the liner to improve the formation effect of the ASC. As a result, both the formation effect and the penetration ability of the ASC in water are significantly improved, and the radius of the penetration hole is greatly increased. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. In order to improve the anti-shock performance of underwater target, composite materials have been widely used. A numerical model of near-field underwater explosions associated with shaped charges was developed based on the Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian (CEL) method. The damage modes of composite Q235 steel/SiC ceramic/UHMWPE sandwich plates were compared. According to material properties, a new composite sandwich plate was proposed-Q235 steel/UHMWPE/SiC ceramic/UHMWPE composite sandwich plate. The effect of different material mass ratios on the protective effect of composite sandwich plates was analyzed. The results show that new composite sandwich plate underwater explosion impact resistance, anti-projectile performance greatly improved. The composite sandwich plate with proper mass ratio has superior resistance to shaped charge underwater explosion. Composite sandwich plate with faceboard UHMWPE 48.06 mm, SiC ceramic 14.63 mm and backboard UHMWPE 48.06 mm is the most effective. This pressure hull has the greatest decrease in head velocity of metal jet. This study addresses the need for cloud uniformity measurement in icing wind tunnel experiments by designing and developing a laser extinction tomography system for circular icing wind tunnels. The system is aimed at enhancing the accuracy of wind tunnel experiments simulating aircraft icing behavior, providing precise data for research on aircraft icing and anti-icing technologies. The system consists of 24 radiation sources and 24 detectors, uniformly distributed around a circular ring with a diameter of 800 mm, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis of cloud field uniformity. Using COMSOL multiphysics simulation software, the propagation paths of the laser through the cloud field were simulated, optimizing the arrangement of radiation sources and detectors to improve measurement accuracy. By integrating the Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (ART) with regularization methods, the image reconstruction algorithm enhances both precision and stability, effectively capturing the spatial distribution of the cloud field. Experimental results demonstrate that the system accurately reflects the cloud field distribution, with the error ratio controlled within acceptable limits, validating the system’s accuracy and reliability. This system provides a high-precision measurement platform for aircraft icing research and anti-icing technology experiments. © 2025 SPIE.
