Nowadays, the technological level of production is an important factor for all areas of modern economic development and life quality improvement. Neither in the informational, nor in the industrial sphere it is possible to produce in-demand, modern, and therefore high-tech and complex products without the establishment of an appropriate system of quality examination at multiple stages of production. This article deals with the problem of forming a comprehensive educational environment with the use of heterogeneous educational resources in the training of specialists in the radiation type of nondestructive testing. The purpose of the research and development is to address the shortcomings of classroom, remote digital learning, and laboratory practice listed in the article by developing a solution based on virtual reality technologies. The purpose stated lies in the pursuit of intensive solutions to the existing problems. Extensive development paths are not effective in improving the efficiency of training and checking students' knowledge in the context of the rapidly growing demand for nondestructive testing specialists. The concept of a digital twin as an educational resource is considered. The structural approach to the formation of complex educational resources both at the level of organization and at the level of digital product is presented. The structure of interrelationships between data in the formation of a digital twin of a radiographic image is presented. The results of the radiographic image simulation and its quality verification are shown. © 2024 IEEE.

digital simulators based on virtual reality expand the range of educational opportunities and improve the quality of learning in various areas of knowledge through deeper "immersion"in the learning process. Attention to the details of the modeled process plays an important role. One of the tasks of interactive simulators is to provide an opportunity to see the relationship between the user's actions and the obtained qualitative and quantitative parameters and quality attributes of the simulated process result. Considered the issue of curved shape detectors application relevance in the practice of penetrating radiation evaluation in general and in industrial radiography in particular. The prerequisites for the creation of flexible (bendable) form of digital radiographic detectors and the features of two generations of practically implemented devices are analyzed. development of a flexible detector digital twin is considered, models and algorithms for its realization in a virtual reality environment are proposed, and the main results of computational and laboratory experiments as well as the obtained radiographic images are presented. The main task of virtual reality technologies within the qualified technical specialists training programs is the development of their professional skills and the formation of stable behavior patterns that ensure strict compliance with the rules and requirements of industrial safety, thereby ensuring the high quality of the end product. © 2024 IEEE.

The implementation of digital industrial technologies marks a pivotal step towards maximizing automation in production processes, aligning with the principles of Industry 4.0 and the NDE 4.0 paradigms. One key area of focus is the modeling of radiation non-destructive evaluation operations within a virtual reality framework. This innovative approach allows for the creation and software application of simulators specifically designed for non-destructive testing of various materials and products. In this context, a complex multi-component digital twin of radiographic image is proposed. The digital twin serves as a comprehensive virtual model that mirrors the characteristics and behaviors of its physical counterpart. The images are generated using discrete modeling techniques that utilize both fundamental physical principles and empirical data provided by manufacturers. This dual approach ensures that the resulting radiographic images closely resemble those produced during actual X-ray inspections. One of the spatial factors that affects image sharpness and quality of inspection is also included in the model. By utilizing virtual reality and digital twin technologies, radiation non-destructive testing training becomes more efficient and better aligned with the automation goals of contemporary industrial practices. © 2025 IEEE.

Within the context of contemporary trends in education aimed at increasing the availability of ed-ucational programs through the digitalization of teaching materials, learning processes and knowledge management, and the development of distance learning opportunities and related services, changes are also affecting the field of training, vocational training, retraining, certification and re-certification of technical professionals. Herewith they can pursue both the goal of creating general and special scenarios to prepare readiness for action in emergencies and to comply with safety regulations, and the goal of increasing the level of practical skills in technical means and applying their proper use when performing specialized tasks. The software tool that simulates a radiation laboratory helps to examine a number of important elements of virtual practice for technical professionals, including the testing objects' material physical properties simulation and primary information carriers' physics simulation. This study represents another step toward more accurate calculation of attenuation values during X-ray inspection simulation. © 2022 IEEE.

Organizational, technical and methodological approaches to the creation and application of virtual reality in additional education are considered. Particularly for use and development of a digital radiography simulator in non-destructive testing of products and materials. It is noted that virtual reality technologies are most widely used in training and knowledge testing of engineering and technical personnel and workers in production, as well as in technological preparation during complex and exacting operations, including products and materials testing. The pilot solutions obtained and tested to date allow us to evaluate the results of complex scientific research. The prospects of expanding the applicability range of software and hardware virtual reality solutions, including those based on network interfaces, protocols and telecommunications solutions, are determined. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Ecosystems are undergoing unprecedented persistent deterioration due to unsustainable anthropogenic human activities,such as overfishing and deforestation,and the effects of such damage on ecological stability are *** recent advances in experimental and theoretical studies on regime shifts and tipping points,theoretical tools for understanding the extinction chain,which is the sequence of species extinctions resulting from overexploitation,are still lacking,especially for large-scale nonlinear networked *** this study,we developed a mathematical tool to predict regime shifts and extinction chains in ecosystems under multiple exploitation situations and verified it in 26 real-world mutualistic networks of various sizes and *** discovered five phases during the exploitation process:safe,partial extinction,bistable,tristable,and collapse,which enabled the optimal design of restoration strategies for degraded or collapsed *** validated our approach using a 20-year dataset from an eelgrass restoration ***,we also found a specific region in the diagram spanning exploitation rates and competition intensities,where exploiting more species helps increase *** computational tool provides insights into harvesting,fishing,exploitation,or deforestation plans while conserving or restoring the biodiversity of mutualistic ecosystems.
